< Jovu 20 >
And Zophar the Naamathite answereth and saith: —
2 Nanekema hana nanekemo'a, antahintahinifina knarera osutfa hige'na keka'arera ke nona'a hu'zahue.
Therefore my thoughts cause me to answer, And because of my sensations in me.
3 Kagrama nazeri havizahu nanekema hana nanekemo'a, tusiza huno nagaze eri namige'na, nagu'areti hu'na keka'arera kenona hugante'za hue.
The chastisement of my shame I hear, And the spirit of mine understanding Doth cause me to answer:
4 Hanki ese agafare'ma vahe'ma zamazeri fore hige'za ama mopafima mani'za e'za, amare'ma ehanati'naza vahete'ma fore hu'nea zana kagra ontahi'nano,
This hast thou known from antiquity? Since the placing of man on earth?
That the singing of the wicked [is] short, And the joy of the profane for a moment,
6 Zamavufga rama hu'zazmimo'ene hihamu zmimo'a amename monarega marenerigeno, zamasenimo'a hampo avako hu'ne.
Though his excellency go up to the heavens, And his head against a cloud he strike —
As his own dung for ever he doth perish, His beholders say: 'Where [is] he?'
8 Zamagra ava'nafi vahekna hu'za hare'za fanane hugahaze. Hagi vahe'mo'za avanagnaza ke'naza zamo fanane hiankna hu'za ana vahe'mo'za fanane hugahaze.
As a dream he fleeth, and they find him not, And he is driven away as a vision of the night,
9 Hanki ko'ma zamage'naza vahe'mo'za ru'enena nozmagesageno, naga'zmimozanena ozmagegahaze.
The eye hath not seen him, and addeth not. And not again doth his place behold him.
10 Hanki ana vahe'mofo mofavrezmimo'za, zamunte omne vahe'ma zamazama hanagura memea hugahaze. Na'ankure zmafahe'zama zamunte omne vahe'mokizmi fenoma musufama eri'naza zantamina, zamagra'a zamazampinti ete zami'za vano hugahaze.
His sons do the poor oppress, And his hands give back his wealth.
11 Hihamu'a me'nenigeno kasefa vahe manigahianagi, ana hihamu hankave'ane frino kugusopafi masegahie.
His bones have been full of his youth, And with him on the dust it lieth down.
Though he doth sweeten evil in his mouth, Doth hide it under his tongue,
13 Ana kefo avu'ava zana notrazanki zamagipi haninkofite'za nemanize.
Hath pity on it, and doth not forsake it, And keep it back in the midst of his palate,
14 Hianagi ana ne'zamo'a aka ome hanigeno, zamarimpafina ha osifavemofo avu'ataga zankna ome hugahie.
His food in his bowels is turned, The bitterness of asps [is] in his heart.
15 E'ina hinke'za fenoma asagahu nakri'naza zana Anumzamo'a atre'nigeno zamarimpafina omnegosianki, amu'ma atitreaza huno eri atregahie.
Wealth he hath swallowed, and doth vomit it. From his belly God driveth it out.
16 Hanki ana vahe'mo'za osifa'vemofo avuatga zama'a anivazu hu'za nenesageno, ha' osifavemo zamaprisige'za frigahaze.
Gall of asps he sucketh, Slay him doth the tongue of a viper.
17 Ana hanige'za ru'enena olivi masavena nege, bulimakamofo amirine, tume rima'anena nene'za musena osugahaze.
He looketh not on rivulets, Flowing of brooks of honey and butter.
He is giving back [what] he laboured for, And doth not consume [it]; As a bulwark [is] his exchange, and he exults not.
19 Na'ankure zamagra zamunte omne vahetmina, rezmatga hu'za zamagra onki'naza none fenozmine eri'naze.
For he oppressed — he forsook the poor, A house he hath taken violently away, And he doth not build it.
20 Zamagragukema antahi vahe'mo'za maka'zana ante'nazanagi, ru'enema maka'zama erisaza zankuke nehaze. Hanki rama'a zantmima antesaza zanku antahintahi hugahazanagi, ana zantamina ontegahaze.
For he hath not known ease in his belly. With his desirable thing he delivereth not himself.
21 Hagi ne'zama neneno'a magore huno negenora notreankino, fenozamimo'a zazatera omneno haviza hugahie.
There is not a remnant to his food, Therefore his good doth not stay.
22 Hanki rama'a fenoza antegahazanagi, hazenkefi ufre'za knazampina maniza vugahaze.
In the fulness of his sufficiency he is straitened. Every perverse hand doth meet him.
23 Hanki e'inahukna vahera Anumzamo'a arimpafina hazenkeza eri avitenenteno tusi arimpa ahenteno hazenkea amigahie.
It cometh to pass, at the filling of his belly, He sendeth forth against him The fierceness of His anger, Yea, He raineth on him in his eating.
He fleeth from an iron weapon, Pass through him doth a bow of brass.
25 Hanki ana kevenu'ma ahe taponesigeno amagenafinti'ma ruraponenkeno'a, keve agonare'ma koramo'ma hanigeno kesuno'a tusi agogogu hugahie.
One hath drawn, And it cometh out from the body, And a glittering weapon from his gall proceedeth. On him [are] terrors.
26 Hanki maka zago fenozmia hanimpi fanene hanigeno, mago'ama mesia fenozmine seli nozmi'nena tusi'a tevemo hagana hagana huno te fanene hugahie.
All darkness is hid for his treasures, Consume him doth a fire not blown, Broken is the remnant in his tent.
27 Monamo'a kefozazmia eriama nehinkeno, mopamo'a maka zama hu'naza zana huama huzmantegahie.
Reveal do the heavens his iniquity, And earth is raising itself against him.
28 Hanki ana vahe'mokizmi none fenozazminena tihageno erino nevanigeno, Anumzamofo arimpahe zamo'a tihageankna huno zamavareno vugahie.
Remove doth the increase of his house, Poured forth in a day of His anger.
This [is] the portion of a wicked man from God. And an inheritance appointed him by God.
