1 Hagi nasenifima mago tinkeri megeno navunumo'a navurga kampintima kampu'i tima hanatino eazama hiresina nagri naga'ma zamahe fri'naza nagakura kenage'ene feru'enena zavira tevava huresine.

Oh that my head were waters, and my eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!

2 Hagi nagra vaheni'a zamatre'na ka'ma kopima vu'na karankama nevaza vahe'mo'zama unemasaza nompinka umanuresina knare hisine hu'na nagesa nentahue. Na'ankure zamagra monko a' kna hu'za vano nehu'za mani fatgoa nosu'za, Anumzamofona ha' renentaza vahe mani'naze.

Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging-place of wayfaring men, that I might leave my people, and go from them! For they are all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.

And they bend their tongue-their bow-for falsehood, and they have grown strong in the land, but not for truth. For they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know me, says Jehovah.

Take ye heed each one of his neighbor, and trust ye not in any brother, for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbor will go about with slanders.

And they will deceive each one his neighbor, and will not speak the truth. They have taught their tongue to speak lies. They weary themselves to commit iniquity.

6 Hagi tamagra karunagema hu' avu'avazamofo amunompi mani'neta, Nagri'ma keta antahitama hu'zankura tamavresra nehaze huno Ra Anumzamo'a hu'ne.

Thy habitation is in the midst of deceit. Through deceit they refuse to know me, says Jehovah.

7 E'ina hu'negu Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzamo'a huno, silvama tevefi krazageno silva'age eri zogiankna hu'na, knazanteti rezamahe'na kegahue. Hagi Nagri vahe'mota kumikura, mago zana naza osu'nesuaza hugahue?

Therefore thus says Jehovah of hosts: Behold, I will melt them, and try them, for how else should I do, because of the daughter of my people?

8 Hagi tamagrama nanekema haza nanekemo'a havigege nehazageno ana nanekemo'a vahe ahefri kevegna hu'ne. Ana nehuta tava'ontmire'ma nemaniza vahera tamarimpa fru naneke nezmasamizanagi, tamagri antahizampina zamagri'ma zamahe frisaza antahi'za retro hu'naze.

Their tongue is a deadly arrow; it speaks deceit. He speaks peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but in his heart he lies wait for him.

9 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a huno, E'inahu avu'ava zama nehaza zantera zamazeri haviza hugahue. Ana nehu'na ana avu'ava zantera ama ana vahera Nagrani'a nona huzmantegahue.

Shall I not visit them for these things? says Jehovah. Shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

10 Hagi nagra Jeremaia'na agonaraminku'ene ka'ma kokampima sipisipima kegavama nehaza mopagura nasunkura nehu'na zavira ategahue. For the mountains I will take up a weeping and wailing, and for the pastures of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none passes through, nor can men hear the voice of the cattle. Both the birds of the heavens and the beasts have fled; they are gone.

11 Hagi Jerusalemi kumara eri haviza hanugeno haveramimo hihi huno megahie. Ana hu'nesanige'za afi kramo'za e'za anampina eme nogi'za manigahaze. Ana nehanage'na Juda mopafima me'nea kumatamina eri haviza hanugeno ana kumatamimpina vahera omanitfa hugahie.

And I will make Jerusalem heaps, a dwelling-place of jackals. And I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, without inhabitant.

12 Hagi iza knare antahi'zana eri'nesania vahe'mo amama fore'ma nehia zamofona antahi amara hugahie? Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a iza nanekea asmi'nesia vahe'mo, ana nanekea eri amara huno vahera zamasamigahie? Hagi nagafare mopamo'a havizana huno ka'ma kokanknara higeno, anampina vahe'mo'a kana anteno vanoa nosie?

Who is the wise man, who may understand this, and he to whom the mouth of Jehovah has spoken, that he may declare it? Why has the land perished and burned up like a wilderness, so that none passes through?

13 Hagi anante Ra Anumzamo'a amanage hu'ne. Amanahu zama fore'ma hu'neana, na'ankure Nagri vahe'mo'za amage'ma anteho hu'na zaminoa kasegeni'a zamefi hunemi'za, Nagrama hua nanekea amagera onte'nazagu anara hu'ne.

And Jehovah says, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, nor walked in it,

14 Hianagi zamagri zamagu'amo'a hankavetige'za, zamagra'a zamavesi'za amage nente'za zamafahe'zama huzamaveri hu'nazaza hu'za, Bali havi anumzamofo amema'are monora hunte'naze.

but have walked after the stubbornness of their own heart, and after the Baalim, which their fathers taught them.

15 E'ina hu'nazagu Ra Anumzana Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Anumzama Israeli vahe'mokizmi Anumzamo'a huno, Nagra menina aka ne'za zamisanuge'za nenesage'na, timpina vahe'ma ahe nefriaza antete'na zamisuge'za negahaze.

Therefore thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

16 Hagi Nagra zamazeri panani hanuge'za maka ama mopafina zamagehemo'za, ke'za antahi'za osu'nesaza moparega umani emani hugahaze. Ana hu'nesage'na ha' vahe huzmanta'nena anantega vu'za bainati kazinteti ome zamahehana hugahaze.

I will scatter them also among the nations, whom neither they nor their fathers have known. And I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them.

17 Hagi Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzamo'a huno, Ana zantamima tamagrite'ma fore'ma hania zankura tamagesa antahi so'e nehuta, zavi'matesaza a'neramina zamagi hinke'za eho.

Thus says Jehovah of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come, and send for the skilful women, that they may come.

18 Hagi ana a'nemoza ame hu'za e'za zagamera eme nehu'za zavira netesageno tavunura nehuno, tavunumo'a tavufintira tinkna huno herafiramino.

And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.

19 Hagi Jerusalemi kumapi vahe'mo'za zamasu zampi manine'za zavira nete'za amanage nehazanki antahiho. Tagra havizantfa huta mani'neta tagazegu nehunankita mopatia atreta vugahune. Na'ankure ha' vahetimo'za nonkumatia ko tapage hutre'naze.

For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How we are ruined! We are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because they have cast down our dwellings.

20 Hagi Jerusalemi kumapima nemaniza a'nanemota Ra Anumzamo'a amanage nehianki tamagesa ante so'e hu'neta antahiho. Asunku'ma huno zavi'ma ate'zana mago mago'mota mofa'ne nagatamia rempi huzamitere nehuta tavaontamire'ma nemaniza a'neneraminena rempi huzamitere hiho.

Yet hear the word of Jehovah, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and each one her neighbor lamentation.

21 Na'ankure fri'zamo'a nontimofona zaho eri kampinti ko takaureno enefreno, marerisa nontifinena ko efre'ne. Ana nehuno ne'mofatimo'za ra osu'nageno fri'zamo'a zamazeri atrege'za, karampina vanoa nehu'za zokagora ore'naze. Ana nehige'za nahezave naga'mo'za kumamofo amunompima atruma hu'za nemaniza zana hu'za omani'naze.

For death has come up into our windows. It has entered into our palaces, to cut off the sons from outside, the young men from the streets.

22 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a amanage hie hunka zamasamio. Frisaza vahe'mokizmi zamavufagamo'a, mopafina amne zankna hanigeno, afu'rifama hagi'za hozafima antazankna hugahie. Ana nehanigeno hozafinti'ma witima taga hute'za eri tru osu atrazageno, meankna huno fri zamavufagamo'a me'nesanige'za vahe'mo'za eri tru hu'za aseozamantegahaze.

Speak, Thus says Jehovah: The dead bodies of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather.

23 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a huno, knare antahi'zane vahe'mo'a knare antahi zama'agura avufga rana nosina, hankave vahe'mo'a hankave'agura nentahino avufga rana osino. Ana nehina feno vahe'mo'a fenoma ante'nea zankura nentahino avufga rana osino.

Thus says Jehovah: Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, nor let the mighty man glory in his might. Let not the rich man glory in his riches,

24 Hianagi avufga rama hunaku'ma hania vahe'mo'a Nagriku'ma Ra Anumzana agrake mani'neno, vaga ore mevava avesi zane fatgoma huno refko'ma hu avu'ava zane, fatgo avu'ava'zanena Agrake nehiema hu'zama ke'za antahi'zama nehaza vahe'mo'za zamavufaga rana hiho. Na'ankure Nagra e'inahu avu'ava zanku musena nehue huno Ra Anumzamo'a hu'ne.

but let him who boasts boast in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am Jehovah who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth. For in these things I delight, says Jehovah.

25 Hagi Nagra Ra Anumzamo'na amanage hu'na nehue, mago kna ne-eankino ana knama esanige'na zamagoza anoma tagama osu'naza vahe'ene tagama hu'naza vahe'enena knaza zami'na zamazeri haviza hugahue.

Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will punish all those who are circumcised in their uncircumcision:

26 E'i ana vahera Isipi vahe'ma, Juda vahe'ma, Idomu vahe'ma, Amoni vahe'ma, Moapu vahe'ene, ka'ma kopima nemani'za zamazoka'ma tagahu atupa'ma nehaza vahe'ene zamazeri haviza hugahue. Na'ankure zamagra zamagaze zamavufagamofo noma'a taga osazageno, maka Israeli vahe'mo'zanena zamagu'a rukrahera osu'naze.

Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the sons of Ammon, and Moab, and all who have the corners of their hair cut off, who dwell in the wilderness. For all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in heart.
