Zeremaia 42

1 Hagi maka sondia vahete kva vahe'ene Karea nemofo Johanani'ene Hosaia nemofo Jezania'ene zamagi omane vaheteti vuno zamagima me'nea vahete'ma vige'za, ana maka vahe'mo'za erava'o hute'za,

Then all the captains of the warriors, and Johanan the son of Caree, and Jezonias the son of Osaias, and the rest of the people from the least to the greatest came near:

2 kasnampa ne' Jeremaiana amanage hu'za asami'naze. Muse hugantonanki Ra Anumzana kagri Anumzantega nunamuna hugeno, ama osi'a vahe'ma mani'nona vahera asunku huranteno taza hino. Na'ankure kora rama'a vahe mani'nonanagi menina osi'a vahe mani'nonkenka neragane.

And they said to Jeremias the prophet: Let our supplication fall before thee: and pray thou for us to the Lord thy God for all this remnant, for we are left but a few of many, as thy eyes do behold us.

3 Hagi Ra Anumzana kagri Anumzantega nunamuna hunka antahigegeno, nazanoma hanuna zane, inantego vanuna kanena taveri hino.

And let the Lord thy God shew us the way by which we may walk, and the thing that we must do.

4 Hagi anante kasnampa ne' Jeremaia'a amanage huno zamasami'ne. Tamagrama nehaza nanekea hago antahuanki'na, nazankuro tamagrama haza zana Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamofona nunamu hu'na antahigesugeno, na'ane nanekema nasaminia zana magore hu'na erifra okigahuanki ana maka tamasami vagaregahue.

And Jeremias the prophet said to them: I have heard you: behold I will pray to the Lord your God according to your words: and whatsoever thing he shall answer me, I will declare it to you: and I will hide nothing from you.

5 Hagi anante zamagra amanage hu'za Jeremaiana kenona hunte'naze. Ra Anumzana kagri Anumzamo'ma kasamisia nanekema tagrama antahita amage'ma ontesunkeno'a, tamage huno magozana eri frara okino keagafina huama hurantegahie.

And they said to Jeremias: The Lord be witness between us of truth and faithfulness, if we do not according to every thing for which the Lord thy God shall send thee to us.

6 Hagi Ra Anumzana tagri Anumzamofoma omego huta hugantonkenkama nevana Anumzamo'ma musema hanuna nanekeo musema osanuna nanekema hanigeta, tagra amne antahita amage antegahune. Ra Anumzana tagri Anumzamofo kema antahita amage'ma antesunana maka zamo'a knare hurantegahie.

Whether it be good or evil, we will obey the voice of the Lord our God, to whom me send thee: that it may be well with us when we shall hearken to the voice of the Lord our God.

7 Hagi 10ni'a zage knama evutegeno'a, Ra Anumzamo'a Jeremaiana nanekea asami'ne.

Now after ten days, the word of the Lord came to Jeremias.

8 Ana'ma hutegeno'a Karea nemofo Johananine maka sondia vahete kva vahe'ma agranema mani'naza vahe'ene, zamagi omane vaheteti vuno zamagima me'nea vahete vigeno, ana maka Jeremaia'a kehige'za eme tru hu'naze.

And he called Johanan the son of Caree, and all the captains of the fighting men that were with him, and all the people from the least to the greatest.

9 Ana hutageno Jeremaia'a ana vahera amanage huno zamasamine, Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzantega ome nunamuna hugeno, asunku hurante'noma huta hunantage'nama nunamuma ome hugeno'a amanage huno hu'ne.

And he said to them: Thus saith the Lord the God of Israel, to whom you sent me, to present your supplications before him:

10 Tamagra ama Juda mopafima manisage'na, Nagra tamazeri hankavenetina tamazeri havizana osugahue. Ana nehu'na ama mopafina tamagrira avimzama hankreankna nehu'na, ete tamazeri vati otregahue. Na'ankure knazama tami'noa zankura tusiza hu'na nasunkura nehue.

If you will be quiet and remain in this land, I will build you up, and not pull you down: I will plane you, and not pluck you up: for now I am appeased for the evil that I have done to you.

11 Hagi tamagra Babiloni kini ne'mofonku'ma koro'ma nehaza zana mago'anena korora osiho. Na'ankure Nagra tamagrane manine'na agri azampintira tamagu'vazi'na tamavregahue huno, Ra Anumzamo'a huama hu'ne.

Fear not because of the king of Babylon, of whom you are greatly afraid: fear him not, saith the Lord: for I am with you, to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.

12 Hagi Nagra tamagrikura nasunku huneramante'sugeno, agranena asunku huneramanteno tamatrenigeta ama mopatamifina manigahaze. Na'ankure Nagra tamagrane manine'na agri azampintira tamagu vazina tamavregahue huno, Ra Anumzamo'a huama hu'ne.

And I will shew mercies to you, and will take pity on you, and will cause you to dwell in your own land.

13 Hianagi tamagrama huta ama mopafina omanigahunema huta Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamofo ke runetagreta,

But if you say: We will not dwell in this land, neither will we hearken to the voice of the Lord our God,

14 tagra Isipi mopare vuta umanineta ha'ma hu'zana nonketa, ufema resaza agerura nontahita, ne'zanku'enena atupara osugahune huta hugahaze.

Saying: No, but we will go into the land of Egypt: where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor suffer hunger: and there we will dwell.

15 Hagi e'inahu nanekema hanuta Juda vahe'ma osi'ama mani'naza nagamota Ra Anumzamofo nanekea antahiho, Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe'mota Anumzamo'a huno, Isipi mopare'ma vu'zanku'ma hankave antahintahima hanazana,

For this now hear the word of the Lord, ye remnant of Juda: Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: If you set your faces to go into Egypt, and enter in to dwell there:

16 tamagra Isipi mopafi umani'nesage'za, tamagrama koro'ma hune zamantaza ha' vahe'mo'za bainati kazinteti tamahe frigahaze. Ana nehanigeno agatonto zanku'ma koro'ma huta nevaza zamo tamavaririno Isipi moparera vanigeta anantega ufrigahaze.

The sword which you fear, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt: and the famine, whereof you are afraid, shall cleave to you in Egypt, and there you shall die.

17 Hagi Isipi mopare'ma umani zanku'ma hankave antahintahima hu'naza vene'ne nagara, anantega umani'nesage'za bainati kazinteti tamahe nefrisageno, ne'zanku huta nefrisageno, krimo'ene tamahe frigahie. Ana hina knazama atre'nugeno eme zamazeri haviza hania knazamo maka tamahe fanane hina, mago'mo'e huno kasefara huno omanigahie.

And all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt, to dwell there, shall die by the sword, and by famine, and by pestilence: none of them shall remain, nor escape from the face of the evil that I will bring upon them.

18 E'ina hu'negu Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzamo'a huno, Nagri'ma narimpa ahege'na knazama atrogeno Jerusalemi kumapima nemaniza vahete'ma e'neaza hu'na, Isipi mopare'ma vanage'na narimpa ahe'zana atre'nugeno tamagritera egahie. Ana hanuge'za vahe'mo'za neramage'za, tusi koro nehu'za vahe'ma kazusima huzamante'nakura ama vahe'mo'zama havizama hazaza huta haviza hiho hu'za hugahaze. Ana hanigeta mago'ene eta ama kumara eme onkegahaze.

For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: As my anger and my indignation hath been kindled against the inhabitants of Jerusalem: so shall my indignation be kindled against you, when you shall enter into Egypt, and you shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach: and you shall see this place no more.

19 Hagi Juda vahe'ma ofri osi'ama mani'naza vahe'motagu'ma Ra Anumzamo'ma huno Isipi mopare'ma oviho huno'ma koro kema huramante'nea nanekegura menina tamagra antahi ankereho.

This is the word of the Lord concerning you, O ye remnant of Juda: Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have adjured you this day.

20 Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamofontega hunanteta, tagri Anumzantega vunka tazama hanigura nunamuna hugeno, nazano tagri Ra Anumzamo'ma hihoma huno hurantesania nanekea eme huama hugeta nentahita, nazano hihoma huno hania zana amage anteta hugahune huta hu'naza zana, havige nehuta amagera onte'naze.

For you have deceived your own souls: for you sent me to the Lord our God, saying: Pray for us to the Lord our God, and according to all that the Lord our God shall say to thee, so declare unto us, and we will do it.

21 Hagi ana nanekea huama hu'na tamasami'noe. Hianagi Ra Anumzamo'ma tamagri Anumzamo'ma hia nanekea antahita amagera nonteta, maka zanku'ma hige'nama eme tamasamua zanena amagera onte'naze.

And now I have declared it to you this day, and; you have not obeyed the voice of the Lord your God, with regard to all the things for which he hath sent me to you.

22 E'ina hu'negu menima antahi ankereho, inantego vunakure hutama nehaza moparega umani'nesageno anantega, ha' vahe'mo'za bainati kazinteti mago'a vahera tamahe nefrisageno, mago'a vahera ne'zanku huta nefrisageno, mago'a vahera krimo tamahe frigahie.

Now therefore know certainly that you shall die by the sword, and by famine, and by pestilence in the place to which you desire to go to dwell there.
