1 Hagi Zedekaia'ma Juda vahe kinima manino egeno 10nima hia kafufina, Ra Anumzamo'a Jeremaia'na ama nanekea asami'ne. Hagi ana'ma hu'neana Nebukatnesama Babiloni kinima manino egeno 18nima hia kafufi anara hu'ne.

The word which came to Jeremiah from Jehovah in the tenth year of Zedekiah, the king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar.

2 Hagi ana knafina Babiloni kini ne'mofo sondia vahe'mo'za e'za Jerusalemi kumara eme vazagi kagi'naze. Ana nehazageno Juda kini ne'mofo kumapima sondia vahe'ma nemanizafi kasnampa ne' Jeremaia'a kina huno mani'ne.

And at that time the army of the king of Babylon was laying siege to Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which was in the house of the king of Judah.

3 Na'ankure Juda kini ne' Zedekaia'a, Jeremaiana kina hunenteno amanage huno hu'ne, kagra nahigenka kasnampa kea hunka, Ra Anumzamo'a huno, Nagra ama rankumara Babiloni kini ne'mofo azampi antesanugeno hara huramanteno ama anankumara erigahie.

For Zedekiah, the king of Judah, had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, “Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I am about to give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;

4 Ana hanigeno Juda kini ne' Zedekaia'a Kaldia vahe zamazampintira zamatreno ofregahie. Hianagi Zedekaiana avre'za Babiloni kini nete vanageno, zanagra zanavufi oge age nehuke keaga hugantigma hugaha'e.

and Zedekiah, the king of Judah, shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldaeans, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes;

5 Hagi anantetira Babiloni kini nemo'a Zedekaiana avreno Babiloni vanigeno umani nesanige'na, Nagra anantega ome kegahue. Hagi kagra Babiloni vahera hara huzamante'gahananagi kasamarenka hara huzamagate oregahane huno, Ra Anumzamo'a hie hunka kasnampa kea hu'nane nehuno, Zedekaia'a Jeremaiana kina hunte'ne.

and he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, saith Jehovah; though ye fight with the Chaldaeans, ye shall not prosper?”

6 Hagi Jeremaia'a huno, Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno nanekea nasami'ne.

Then said Jeremiah, The word of Jehovah came to me, and said:

7 Antahio! Negafana negna mofavre Salumu nemofo Hanameli'a kagrite eno amanage hugahie. Nagri mopama Anatoti kumate'ma me'nea mopa mizaso huno hugahie. Na'ankure kagra agrira avate nefuga ugota vahe mani'nanku amane ana mopa mizasegahane.

Behold, Hanameel, the son of Shallum, thine uncle, will come to thee, and say, Buy thee my field which is in Anathoth, for thine is the redemption-right to buy it.

8 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'ma nasami'nea kante anteno, nenfa negna mofavre Hanameli'a eno, kini ne'mofo kumapima sondia vahe'ma nemanifima kinama hu'na mani'nofi eno amanage hu'ne. Benzameni nagamokizmi mopafima Anatoti kumate'ma Nagri mopama me'neana kagra mizaso. Na'ankure kagra nagrira navate nenafuga ugota vahe mani'nenka ana mopa ete mizasenka eriga vahe mani'nanankinka, kagra'a suza mizasegahane. Anagema hige'na nagrama antahuana, e'i Ra Anumzamo naneke nasamianki'na ana hugahue hu'na hu'noe.

And so Hanameel, the son of my uncle, came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of Jehovah, and said to me: Buy, I pray thee, my field, which is in Anathoth, for thine is the right of inheritance and redemption; buy it for thyself! Then I knew that this was the word of Jehovah.

9 Anage nehu'na anante 17ni'a silva zagoa sigerire erinte'na kna'a kete'na, nenfa negna mofavre Hanamelina mizana senente'na, Anatoti kumate'ma me'nea mopa eri'noe.

I bought, therefore, the field of Hanameel, my uncle's son, in Anathoth, and I paid him the money, seventeen shekels of silver.

10 Hagi ana mopama mizamasoa mopamofo avona eri fatgo hu'na nagia krena eri vakaki nente'na, anantera vahera manine'za negage'na ana avontafera eri renamagi'na fukinteti rentrako nehu'na, mizama hua zagoa sigerire erinte'na nege'na Hanamelina erimi'noe.

And I wrote a deed, and sealed it, and took witnesses thereto, and weighed the silver in the balances.

11 Hagi ana mopama mizama hua mopamofo kasege'a tare avontafete anahukna hu'na krete'na mago avona repasi hu'na fukinu rentarako nehu'na, mago avontafera repasi osu atre'noe.

And I took the purchase-deed, that which was sealed according to the law and the statutes, and that which was open,

12 Hagi anantarega avona eri'na Maseia negeho Neri nemofo Baruku ami'noe. E'ina'ma hu'noana nenfa negna mofavre Hanameli avufine, anama mizamasoa avontafete'ma zamazanko avoma ante'naza vahe zamavufi anazana hu'noe. Ana nehu'na maka Juda vahe'ma, kini ne'mofo kumapima sondia vahe'ma nemaniza kumapima mani'naza vahe zamavufine ana zana hu'no'e.

and I gave the purchase-deed to Baruch, the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the presence of Hanameel, my uncle's son, and in the presence of the witnesses, who subscribed their names to the purchase-deed, and in the presence of all the Jews who sat in the court of the prison.

13 Hagi maka vahe'mo'za negage'na amanage hu'na Barukuna asami'noe.

And I charged Baruch in their presence, saying,

14 Monafi sondia Vahe'mofo Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzamo'a amanage huno nehie, mopama mizamasoa mopamofo kasege'ama krente avontafetrena fukima rekamare su'ane amnema me'nea avontafe'enena anantarega erinka mopa kavofi antegeno havizana osu zazate meno.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Take these writings, this sealed purchase-deed, and this open deed, and put them into an earthen vessel, that they may endure a great length of time.

15 Na'ankure Monafi sondia Vahe'mofo Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzamo'a huno, vahe'mo'za henka'a nontamine mopane waini hozanena zagoreti mizasegahaze.

For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Yet again shall houses and fields and vineyards be bought in this land.

16 Hagi mopama miza hu'noa mopamofo kasege'ama krente avontafe'ma Neria nemofo Barukuma amite'na, Ra Anumzamofontega amanage hu'na nunamuna hu'noe.

And when I had delivered the purchase-deed to Baruch, the son of Neriah, I prayed to Jehovah, saying,

17 Ra Anumzamoka kagra tusi'a hihamu hankave ka'areti kazana rusutenka monane mopanena tro hu'nane. Ana hu'neankino kagritera mago zamo'a amuhoa osu'ne.

Ah, Lord, Jehovah! Behold, thou hast made the heavens and the earth by thy great power and thy stretched-out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.

18 Hagi Kagra vagaore kavesizanteti, rama'a tauseni'a vahera kavesi nezamantane. Hianagi nefa'ma hu'nea kumitera nona hunka nemofona azeri haviza nehane. Anumzamoka kagra tusi hankavenentake ne' mani'nanankino, kagri kagi'a Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzane.

Thou showest kindness to a thousand generations, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of the children who come after them. The great, the mighty God, Jehovah of hosts is his name,

19 Kagra knare antahintahia vahera nezaminka, hankave eri'za erifore nehane. Ana nehunka vahe'mo'zama maka zamavu'zmavama nehazana kavua antenka negenka, zamagrama nehaza avu'avate antenka mizazmia refko hunka nezamina Anumza mani'nane.

great in counsel and mighty in work; for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men, to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings;

20 Hagi kagra Isipi mopafina kaguvazane avame'zanena erifore hu'nanankinka, meninena Israeli vahepine maka kokankokama nemaniza vahete'enena kaguva zane avame zanena erifore nehanke'za maka vahe'mo'za nege'za meninena rankagia negamize.

who hast displayed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt even to this day, and in Israel, and among other men, and hast made thee a name, as at this day;

21 Hagi Kagra hankavenentake kazana rusutenka, Isipi mopafina kaguva zane avame zanena eri fore hunka vahera zamazeri koro nehunka, vaheka'a Israeli vahera Isipitira zamavarenka atirami'nane.

and hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched-out arm, and with great terror,

22 Hagi ana hutenka kagra zamagehe'ima huvempa huzmantenka, tumerimo'ene amirimo'enema avite'nea mopama zamigahue hunka hu'nana kante antenka ama mopa zami'nane.

and hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;

23 Ana hanke'za tagehe'za ama mopa eme eri'nafa'a hu'za mani'naze. Hianagi kagri nanekea nontahi'za kasegeka'a amagera onte'naze. Kagrama amage anteho hunkama huzamante'nana nanekea magore hu'za amagera ontagenka ama hazenke zantamina atrankeno zamagritera ne-e.

and they have come in and possessed it; but they have not obeyed thy voice, nor walked according to thy law. They have done nothing of all which thou commandedst them to do. Therefore hast thou caused all this evil to come upon them.

24 Hagi menina Babiloni vahe'mo'za e'za Jerusalemi rankumara eme vazagi kagine'za, kuma keginamofo asoparega mopa antehihi hu'za mareri'za hara hurante'za kumara erinaku nehaze. Hagi anama nehazana, na'ankure Kagrama hunana kante amage ante'za Babiloni vahe'mo'za kazintetira mago'a nerahesageno, mago'a ne'zanku huta nefrisunkeno, mago'a krimo tahe nefrisige'za kuma'ma erinaku'ma nehaza zana ko negane.

Behold, the mounds of the enemy have already come up against the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldaeans, who fight against it by means of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence; and what thou hast spoken is come to pass, and, behold, thou seest it.

25 Hagi tamagerfa hu'za Babiloni vahe'mo'za ama rankumara erigahaze. Hianagi kagra Ra Anumzamoka hunka, vahera kehinke'za negesagenka zagoreti mopa mizana huo hanke'na anara hu'noe.

And yet hast thou said to me, O Lord Jehovah, “Buy thee the field for money, and take witnesses thereto!” when the city is given into the hand of the Chaldaeans.

26 Anante Ra Anumzamo'a Jeremaiana amanage huno asami'ne.

Then came the word of Jehovah to Jeremiah, saying:

27 Nagra Ra Anumzana miko vahe'mofo Anumza mani'noankino, mago zamo'a nagritera amuhoa osugahie.

Behold, I, Jehovah, am the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?

28 E'ina hu'negu Ra Anumzamo'a huno, menina ama rankumara Babiloni vahe zamazampine, Babiloni kini ne' Nebukatnesa azampine anta'nena hara huzmagatereno erigahie.

Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldaeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, and he shall take it.

29 Hagi Babiloni vahe'ma ama rankuma'ma ha'ma eme hunentaza vahe'mo'za, kumara teve tagintesageno tegahie. Nontamimofo agofetura Bali havi anumzante'ma ofa kresramna nevuta, ru anumzantaminte'ma waini tima tagitreta ofama nehuta, Nagri'ma nazeri narimpama nehaza nontaminena teve taginte'sageno te vagaregahie.

And the Chaldaeans who fight against this city shall come and set this city on fire, and burn it, with the houses upon whose roofs they have offered incense to Baal, and poured out incense to other gods, to provoke me to anger.

30 Hagi Israeli vahe'ene Juda vahemo'zanena, kasefa zamireti'ma eno amare'ma ege'na, Nagrama zamagoana mago knare zana osu'nazanki havi avu'ava zanke hu'za e'naze. Zamagra Israeli vahe'mo'za mago knare zana osu'nazanki, zamazanteti'ma avako'ma hu'za tro'ma hu'zama e'naza zamo nazeri narimpahe'ne huno Ra Anumzamo'a hu'ne.

For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have done nothing but evil before me from their youth; yea, the children of Israel have but provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, saith Jehovah.

31 Hagi ama Jerusalemi rankuma'ma erigafama hu'za ki'naza knareti'ma eno meni ama knare'ma ege'za, vahe'mo'za nagrira nazeri narimpa ahe'nazankina, zamazeri atresuge'za Nagri navurera omanigahaze.

For this city hath been the object of my anger and my fury, from the day when they built it even to this day; that I might remove it from before my face,

32 Na'ankure Israeli vahe'ene Juda vahemo'zanena maka kefo avu'ava zama nehaza zamo Nagrira nazeri narimpa ahe'ne. Ana nehazage'za kini vahe zamimo'zane, kva vahe zamimo'zane, pristi vahe zamimo'zane, kasnampa vahe zamimo'zane, maka Juda venenemo'zane, Jerusalemi rankumapima nemaniza vahe'mo'za zamagranena havi avu'ava zanke hu'za nazeri narimpa ahe'naze.

because of all the wickedness of the children of Israel, and of the children of Judah, which they have committed to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

33 Hagi zamagra zamavugosa rukrahe nehu'za, zamefi hunami'naze. Nagra maka zupa rempi huzmi vava hu'noanagi, Nagrama zamasamua zamavumro nanekea antahi'za amagera onte'naze.

For they have turned to me the back, and not the face; though I have taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet have they not hearkened to receive instruction.

34 Hagi zamagra kasrino agoterfa havi anumzamofo amema'a eri'za vu'za, Nagri nagima me'nesige'za mono hunantegahaze hu'noa mono nompi omente'za, ana nona eri pehena hu'naze.

And they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.

35 Hagi Ben-Hinomue nehaza agupofi Bali havi anumzante'ma mono'ma huntesaza kumatamina tro hunte'naze. Ana hute'za anante ne' mofavre naga'zamia zamahe'za Moreki havi anumzante Kresramana vu'naze. Nagri antahi'zampina e'inahu antahintahia omanegeno, e'ina huno kasri'nea havi avu'ava zana hiho hu'na Nagra huozamante'noa avu'avaza nehu'za, Juda vahera zamatu fazage'za kumira hu'naze.

And they have built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire to Moloch, which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should practise their abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

36 Hagi e'ina hu'negu Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzamo'a huno, Tamagra huta ha'zamo'ene agatonto zamo'ene krimo'ene tazeri haviza nehiankino, Babiloni kini ne'mo hara huragatereno ama rankumara erigahie hutama nehaza kumakura Nagra amanage nehue.

Yet now thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel concerning this city, of which ye say, “It is delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.”

37 Hagi antahiho! Nagri narimpahe zamo'ma teve rukaru'ma hige'na, zamazeri panini huge'za ru moparegama umani emanima hu'naregatira, ete zamavare'na ama kumate esuge'za, mago zankura ontahi knare hu'za emanigahaze.

Behold, I will gather them out of all the countries whither I have driven them in my anger and my fury and my great wrath, and I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to dwell securely,

38 Hagi zamagra Nagri vahe manisage'na, Nagra zamagri Anumza manigahue.

and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

39 Hagi Nagra magoke antahizanke nezami'na, magoke ka zamaveri ha'nena nevu'za nagrira koro hunante'za namage antegahaze. Na'ankure e'i ana'ma hanazana zamagri knare zanku'ene henkama kase zamantesaza mofavre naga'zamimofo knare zanku'ene anara hugahaze.

And I will give them one heart, and one way, to fear me continually, that it may be well with them, and with their children after them.

40 Hagi Nagra knare avu'ava zama hunezmantoa zana atre'na rukrahera osugahue hu'na, zamagranena mevava huhagerafi huvempa kea hugahue. Ana nehu'na zamagu'afina Nagri'ma koro'ma hunante'za nagorgama manisaza avu'avaza ante zamante sanuge'za, ru'enena natre'za ovugahaze.

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, nor cease to do them good; for I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

41 Hagi Nagra zamagrikura muse nehu'na knare avu'ava zana huzmantegahue. Ana nehu'na avimzama nehiaza hu'nama ama mopafi hankre sanuge'za mani'nenage'na, Nagra maka nagu'areti hu'na nazano huzmantegahue hu'na hu'noa zana huvagaregahue.

Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land in truth, with my whole heart, and with my whole soul.

42 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a huno, Nagrama ranra knazanteti'ma ama vahe'ma zamazeri havizama hu'noaza hu'na, knare'nare zantamima huzmantegahue hu'na huvempama huzmante'noa zantamina ana maka zamazeri knare hugahue.

For thus saith Jehovah: As I have brought upon this people all this great evil, so will I bring upon them all the good which I have promised them.

43 Hagi tamagra huta, Ra Anumzamo'a Babiloni vahe zamazampi ama mopa erintegeno, mopamo'a havizantfa higeno magore huno vahe'ene zagagafanena omanitfa hu'ne huta nehaze.

And fields shall yet be bought in this land, of which ye say, “It is desolate, without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldaeans.”

44 Hagi mopama mizasesazana, mago'a vahe'mo'za anante manine'za ke'nonkeno mopa mizase hu'za ana mopamofo kasege'ama krentesaza avontera zamagi'a eri vakakite'za ana avona eri rentarako huntegahaze. Hagi mopama mizama sesazana, Benzameni naga mopafine, Jerusalemi kuma tvaonte'ma me'nea mopafine, Juda kuma tamimpima me'nea mopafine, ne'onse agona kokampima me'nea kumatamine, Sefela agupo kokane, Negevi kaziganema me'nea kuma tamimpinti'enena, mopa zagoreti miza hu'za erigahaze. Na'ankure ana knafina Nagra ete kinafintira zamavarena mopa zamire esuge'za knare hu'za manigahaze huno Ra Anumzamo'a hu'ne.

Fields shall men buy for money, and subscribe deeds, and seal them, and take witnesses, in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the hill-country, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south; for I will bring them back from their captivity, saith Jehovah.
