< Zeremaia 28 >
1 Hagi Zedekaia'ma Juda vahe kinima manino egeno namba 4ma hia kafumofona 5fu ikantera, Gibioni kumateti kasnampa ne' Azuri nemofo Hanania'a, ra mono nompi mani'nogeno eno, pristi vahe zamavufine maka vahe zamavufinena amanage eme hu'ne.
When Zedekiah had been the King of Judah for more than three years, late in the (summer/hot season), Azzur’s son Hananiah, a prophet from Gibeon [city], spoke to me in the [courtyard of the] temple, while [all] the priests and other people were listening. He said,
2 Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzamo'a huno, Babiloni kini nemo'ma knama neramia zamo'ma karenamare zafama bulimakao anankempima antenegeno mopama rekoma nerianknama huno knama nehia knazana emeri atregahue.
“This is what the Commander of the armies of angels, the God whom [we] Israelis [worship], says: ‘I will cause the king of Babylon to stop ruling/controlling [MET] [all of you].
3 Babiloni kini ne' Nebukatnesa'ma Nagri mono nomofo agu'afinti'ma maka zama erino Babiloni kumate'ma vu'nea zantamina, tare kafumofo agu'afi ete maka eri'na ama kumatera egahue.
(Within two years/Before two years have ended), I will cause to be brought bring back to this temple all the valuable things that King Nebuchadnezzar’s [soldiers] took from this temple and took to Babylon.
And I will also cause King Jehoiachin to be brought back here, and all the [other] people who were captured and taken to Babylon. The king of Babylon has [forced you to do what he wants, like someone] puts a yoke [on the neck of an ox to force it to do what he] wants [MET] it to do. But I will cause that to end. [That will happen because] I, Yahweh, have said it.’”
5 Hagi anante pristi vahe'ene maka vahe'ma, Ra Anumzamofo mono nompima oti'naza vahe zamavufi, kasnampa ne' Jeremaia'a amanage huno havige kasnampa ne' Hananiana kenona hunte'ne.
I replied to Hananiah in front of [all] the priests and other people who were standing outside the temple.
6 Tamage naneke Hananiaga hanankino, Ra Anumzamo'a anama hana zantamina nehuno, maka kasnampa nanekema hana nanekea Ra Anumzamo'a erinena ragaresanie. Ana nehuno Ra Anumzamofo mono nompinti zantamima eri'za Babiloni kumate'ma vu'naza zantamine, kinama ome hu'naza vahe'enena kasnampa kema hana kante anteno, Ra Anumzamo'a maka zamavareno Jerusalemi kumate'ma esanigu kesanune.
I said, “(Amen/May that happen)! I desire/hope that what you have predicted will happen. I hope/desire that Yahweh will do everything that you have said! I hope/desire that he will cause [men from Babylon] to bring back from Babylon [all] the valuable things that were in this temple, and all the people who were taken [to Babylon].
7 Hianagi nagra menima hanua nanekea kagra nentahige'za, maka vahemo'zanena antahiho.
But now listen to what I say to you while all these people are listening.
8 Hagi tagrama fore osu'nonke'zama ko'ma mani'za e'naza kasnampa vahe'mo'za, rama'a kumapi vahete'ene, kini vahe'mo'zama kegavama hu'naza mopafima nemaniza vahete'ma ha'ma esania zanku'ene, zamagatonto zanku'ene krima esania zanku'enena kasnampa kea huama hu'naze.
Many years ago, those who were prophets before you and I [became prophets] spoke messages about many nations and great kingdoms. They predicted/prophesied that wars and disasters and plagues/diseases would occur in those nations.
9 Hianagi mago kasnampa vahemo'ma kasnampa kema huno, ha' zana omanena mani fru huta manigahaze huno hania kemo'ma nena rgaresanigeta, e'i tamage Ra Anumzamo keaga asamigeno eme huama hu'neane huta keta antahita hugahune.
[So now you or] any other prophet who predicts that things will go well [for us must show that your message is correct. Only] if what you predict actually happens will we know that you were truly appointed by Yahweh.”
10 Hagi anagema hutegeno'a anante Jeremaia'ma karenamare zafama anankempima ante'neana, Hanania'a erino rufutagi atre'ne.
Then Hananiah took the yoke off my neck and broke it.
11 Hagi ana'ma huteno'a Hanania'a mika vahe zamavuga otino amanage hu'ne, Ra Anumzamo'a huno, ama ana hukna hu'na Babiloni kini ne' Nebukatnesa'ma maka mopafi vahetamima, karenamare zafama zamanankempima ante'neana tare kafumofo agu'afi rufutagi atregahue hu'ne. Hianagi Jeremaia'ma ana nanekema nentahino'a atreno vu'ne.
Then he said this to all the people who were there: “This is what Yahweh says: ‘Just like Hananiah has broken this yoke, within two years I will cause King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon to [stop forcing the people to do what he wants, which has been like] a heavy yoke on all their necks [MET].’” After Hananiah said that, I left the temple area.
12 Hagi Hanania'ma karenamare zafama Jeremaia anankempima me'nea zafama erino rufutagi atretegeno, mago'a knama evutegeno'a Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno Jeremaiana asami'ne.
[Soon] after Hananiah had broken the yoke that was around my neck, Yahweh gave this message to me:

“Go and say this to Hananiah: ‘Yahweh says that you have broken a wooden yoke, but that he will replace it with an iron yoke.
14 Hagi Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzamo'a amanage huno nehie, Nebukatnesa eri'za vahe maniho hu'na Nagra maka mopafi vahera aenireti tro hu'naza karenamare zafa zamanankempina ante zamante'noe. Ana hu'noanki'za agri eri'zanke erigahaze. Na'ankure afizaga kafa'nena agra kegava hugahie hu'na ko hankavea ami'noe.
I have forced the people of all these nations to [become slaves of] King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. That is [like] [MET] an iron yoke around their necks. I have put everything, even wild animals, under his control.’”
15 Hagi kasnampa ne' Jeremaia'a anagema huteno'a anante kasnampa ne' Hananiana amanage huno asami'ne. Hananiaga antahio, Ra Anumzamo'a kagrira huogante'neanagi, kagra havige eme hunka masavenke eme hanke'za vahe'mo'za ana keka'a antahigami'naze.
Then I [went to] Hananiah and said to him, “Hananiah, listen [to this]: Yahweh has not appointed you; instead, [you have told] lies to the people, and they have believed your lies.
16 E'ina hu'negu Ra Anumzamo'a amanage nehie, Kagrira ama mopafintira kazeri atresugenka omanigahane. Kagra meni ama kafufi frigahane. Na'ankure kagra vahera rempi huzaminke'za Ra Anumzamofona ha' rente'naze.
Therefore, this is what Yahweh says: ‘You will [soon] die. Before the end of this year, you will die, because you have rebelled against Yahweh.’”
17 Higeno ana kafumofo 7ni ikante kasnampa ne' Hanania'a fri'ne.
Hananiah died two months later.
