< Jemisi 4 >
1 Hagi na'amo amu'nontamifina kefra hu'zane, ha' hu'zana eri forenehie? Havi tamavesi'za tamagu'afi me'neno ha'nerea zampinti efore nehifi?
Whence [come] wars and whence [come] fightings among you? [come they] not hence, [even] of your pleasures that war in your members?
2 Mago'a zanku tamave'nesigetma kenunu nehazanagi e'norize. E'ina nehutma vahera zamahe nefrizanagi anazana e'norize. Rumofo zankura ke hakare nehutma franevazitma hara nehazanagi, mago'zana e'nori'ze. Na'ankure Anumzamofona tamagra nunamuna hutma antahinonkaze.
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and covet, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war; ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Tamagrama antahigaza zana e'norize, na'ankure knare osu antahintahireti antahigazagu e'norize. Anama tamisia zana eritma tamagrima tamavenesia zante atregahaze.
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may spend [it] in your pleasures.
4 Tamagra monko a'nemo hiankna hutma, ru anumzante mono hunentaza vahe'motma, ama mopafi avu'avazamofonte'ma tragoneteta ana avu'ava'ma hanazana, Anumzamofona ha'rentegahazanki tamagra ontahi'nazo? E'ina hu'negu iza'o ama mopafi zante tragotesimo'a, Anumzamofo ha' vahe fore nehie.
Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.
5 Avontafemo'a anage hu'neana, amne ke hu'nefi? Anumzamo'ma Avamu'ama tagu'afi antegeno mani'neana, Agri agorga manisiegu avenesie. E'ina'ma osigeno'a rimpagna nemie.
Or think ye that the scripture speaketh in vain? Doth the spirit which he made to dwell in us long unto envying?
6 Hu'neanagi agra razampi asuraginerante, e'ina agafare avontafemo'a anage hu'ne, Anumzamo'a zamufga antemareriza vahe ha'renezmanteno, zamufga anteneramiza vahera asuraginezmante.
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore [the scripture] saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.
7 E'ina hu'negu Anumzamofo agorga anteramita nemanitma, Satana ha'renteta retufe atrenkeno tamatreno freno.
Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Anumzante erava'o hinkeno, Agranena tamagaritera erava'o hino. Kumi vahe'motma tamazana sese nehutma, tare tagufa antahintahine vahera tamagu'a eri avusese hiho.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye doubleminded.
9 Kumima nehaza zankura tamasunku nehutma, krafa hutma zaviteho. Kiza zokagoma nehazazana netretma, zavi krafa nehutma musema nehaza zana atretma tamasunku hiho.
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Anumzamofo avurera tamagra tamavufga anteraminkeno, Agra tamazeri sga hino.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall exalt you.
11 Hagi nafuhetma, huhaviza ohunte ahunte osiho. Iza'o nefuma huhaviza huntege refakoma huntesimo'a, agra kasegemofo huhaviza nehuno, refako nehie. Kasegema refako'ma hananana, kasegea amage nontananki, kasege refako hu vahe nemanine.
Speak not one against another, brethren. He that speaketh against a brother, or judgeth his brother, speaketh against the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judgest the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12 Kasege neramino, refakoma hurante Nera Anumzana magoke mani'ne, Agrake tagu'vazige, tahe fanane huge hugahie. Hu'neanagi tamagra azagata neramafuna refako hunentaze?
One [only] is the lawgiver and judge, [even] he who is able to save and to destroy: but who art thou that judgest thy neighbour?
13 Hagi menina antahiho, anahukna kema nehazamotma, menino okino rankumapi vuta, mago kafufi umanineta, zago eri'za omerita, mago'ane zagoa (win moni) trohugahune huta hugahaze.
Go to now, ye that say, Today or tomorrow we will go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and get gain:
14 Hagi okima tamagrite'ma fore'ma haniazana ontahi'naze. Tamagra nanterampi hamponkna hu'nazankitma osi'a kna manitetma fanane hugahaze.
whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. What is your life? For ye are a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 Tamagra anage hugare, Anumzamofo avesi'ma me'nesigeta, tagrama tasimu erita manisuta, e'izana huge, amazana hugahune huta hugaragi,
For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall both live, and do this or that.
16 knare hu'none hutma tamufaga marenerize. Ana mika tamufga mareri'zana kefo avu'ava'za nehaze.
But now ye glory in your vauntings: all such glorying is evil.
17 E'ina hu'negu, iza'o fatgozama hu'zama antahineno, anazama osanimo'a kumi hugahie.
To him therefore that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
