1 Ra Anumzamo'a amanage hu'ne, Kagra akohenka ke'zana otinka ranke hunka ufema reaza hunka kezatinka, Nagri kema rufu'netagiza vaheni'a kea nezmasaminka, Jekopu naga'mo'zama nehaza kumi zamavu zamava zankura zamasamio.
Cry with a full throat, spare not, like the cornet lift up thy voice, and declare unto my people their transgression, and to the house of Jacob their sins.
2 Hianagi fatgo zamavu'zmavama nehaza vahe'mo'zama nehazankna hu'za maka zupa Nagritega nunamuna nehu'za, Nagri navu'navaza'ma keama hu'zanku musena nehaze. Anumzazmimofo kasegea zamefi hunomiza, Nagri tava'onte'ma erava'oma huzankuke musena nehaze.
Yet me do they ever seek day by day, and to know my ways do they always desire; as a nation that hath done righteousness, and hath not forsaken the ordinance of their God: continually do they ask of me the ordinances of justice—do they desire to draw nigh unto God.
“Wherefore have we fasted, and thou seest it not? have we afflicted our soul, and thou regardest it not?” Behold, on the day of your fasting ye follow your business, and all your acquired gains do ye exact.
4 Tamagra ne'zana atreta nunamuna nehazanagi, tamagra kehakare huta hafra nehuta, tamazana anakita hara nehaze. Hagi ne'zama a'oma haza zupa e'inahu avu'ava'ma hanazana, Nagra monafinkatira nunamuntamia ontahigahue.
Behold, for contention and strife do ye fast, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye fast not so at this day, to cause your voice to be heard on high.
5 Tamagrama antahi'zana, ne'zama a'o hu'na zupa, zaho'mo traza eri pagagi higeno mopafi agona reaza huta tavufama eri anteneramita, tasunku kukena eri nehuta, tanefapi mase'neta nunamuma nehuna zankura, Ra Anumzamo'a muse nehie huta nehazanagi, tamagra havige nehaze.
Is such then the fast which I can choose? a day that a man afflicteth his soul? to bend his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes for his couch? wilt thou call this a fast, and a day of acceptability unto the Lord?
6 E'ina huta ne'zama a'o huta nunamuma nehaza zankura nave'nosianki, Nagri'ma navenesiana, havigema huta kinafima zamavarente'naza vahera katufenezmanteta, knazama zamita zamazeri havizama nehaza vahera zamatrenke'za fru hu'za nevanageta, bulimakao afu'mofo anankempima karenamare zafama antazaza hutama vahe'ma knama nezamiza zana maka atre vagareho.
Is not this [rather] the fast that I will choose? to open the snares of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye should break asunder every yoke?
7 Nagri'ma navenesiana amanahu tamavutamava hiho, Ne'zanku'ma atupa'ma hanaza vahera ne'zana nezamita, zamunte omane vahe'mo'zama nonku'ma nehakesageta, nontamifi zamavare nenteta, kukenagu'ma atupa'ma hu'nesnaza vahera kukena zamiho. Ana nehutma tamagri koramo'zama knafima mani'nesanageta, ozamatreta zamaza hiho.
Is it not to distribute thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the afflicted poor into thy house! when thou seest the naked, that thou clothe him; and that thou hide not thyself from thy own flesh?
8 Tamagra ana avu'ava'ma hanaza zamo'a nantera zagemo'ma hanatino remsa hiaza nehina, ame hu'na tamazeri knamaresugeno fatgo tamavu tamava zamo'a ugota huno nevanigeno, Anumzamofo hihamu masazamo'a tamefira remsa huramanteno ne-eno kegava huramantegahie.
Then shall break forth as the morning-dawn thy light, and thy healing shall speedily spring forth; and before thee shall go thy righteousness, the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward.
9 Hagi kezamatita nunamuma hanageno'a, Ra Anumzamo'a kenona huramantegahie. Hagi tamagra taza huo hutama krafama hanageno'a, Nagra ama mani'noe huno hugahie. Hagi vahe'ma knama nezamiza zana netretma, vahe zamavufina tamazana asuteta zamavufintankema nehaza zama netreta,
Then shalt thou call, and the Lord will answer; thou shalt cry, and he will say, Here am I. If thou remove from the midst of thee the yoke, the stretching out of the finger, and speaking wickedly;
10 ne'zanku'ma atupa'ma nehaza vahe'ene knafima mani'naza vahe'ma zamazama hanageno'a, ana tamavu tamava zamo'a hanimpinti tavimo remsa nehiaza nehina, hanimpi manisazanagi zage ferupima maniaza huta manigahaze.
And if thou pour out to the hungry thy soul, and satisfy the afflicted soul: then shall shine forth in the darkness thy light, and thy obscurity be as the noonday;
11 Ana nehanageno Ra Anumzamo'a maka knafina kegava huramanteno nevuno, hagege kokampina nazankuro atupa'ma hanazana tamazeri knare hugahie. Ana nehuno zaferinatamia azeri hankavetisanigeta, tretre huno nehagea hozagna nehuta, kampu'i timo oraneno evu vava hiaza hugahaze.
And the Lord will guide thee continually, and will satisfy thy soul in times of famine, and will strengthen thy bones; and thou shalt be like a well-watered garden, and like a spring of water, the waters of which will never deceive.
12 Hanki ko'ma havizama hu'nea ranra kumatamina tamagra ete eri so'e huta negita, tamagehe'zama korapa'ma noma ki'naza marufi eri zugage huta nona kigahaze. Ana nehanage'za vahe'mo'za tamagrikura hu'za, havizama hu'nea keginane, nontamine, kumapi ne'onse kantamina eri zugage hu'za ki vahere hu'za hugahaze.
And they that spring from thee shall build up the ancient ruins; the foundations of many generations shalt thou raise up again: and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breaches, The restorer of paths to the dwelling-place.
13 Ra Anumzamo'a huno, Nagrama mani fruhu knani'e hu'nama huhampari'noa kna Sabatimofo kasegea rutagreta tamagra'a tamavesi'zana amagera onteho. Ana nehuta Sabati knagura Ra Anumzamofo kna me'ne huta antahinemita, tamagra'ama tamazeri musema hanaza zankura nohaketa, amunte omane nanekenena osiho.
If thou restrain thy foot for the sake of the sabbath, not doing thy business on my holy day; and if thou call the sabbath a delight, the holy day of the Lord, honorable; and honor it by not doing thy usual pursuits, by not following thy own business, and speaking [vain] words:
14 Tamagrama mani fruhu kna Sabatimofo kasegema amage'ma antesageno'a, Ra Anumzamo'a asomu huramantegahie. Ana hanigeta neramageho Jekopuma eri santi haregahanema huno Ra Anumzamo'ma huhamparinte'nea mopafima me'nea agonafi tamatrenigeta mani so'e nehuta, ne'zana neneta musenkasea hugahaze. Ra Anumzamo'a agra'a agipinti ama nanekea huama hu'ne.
Then shalt thou find delight in the Lord; and I will cause thee to tread upon the high places of the earth, and I will cause thee to enjoy the inheritance of Jacob thy father; for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
