Who would have believed our report? and the arm of the Lord—over whom hath it been revealed?
Yea, he grew up like a small shoot before him, and as a root out of a dry land: he had no form nor comeliness, so that we should look at him; and no countenance, so that we should desire him.
He was despised and shunned by men; a man of pains, and acquainted with disease; and as one who hid his face from us was he despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Tamagerfa huno ana ne'mo'a tagri knazane, tasunku zanena agra'a erigofi'ne. Tagrama antahunana Anumzamo'a kna amino azeri haviza hunaku atregeno knazamo'a azeri havizantfa nehie huta antahi'none.
But only our diseases did he bear himself, and our pains he carried: while we indeed esteemed him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 Hianagi tagri kumitigu hu'za avufagafina karugrua nere'za, tagri kefo zantigu hu'za ahe'za avufga agu'za ru'naze. Agri'ma kanama nemi'za, atama ami'naza zamo tagritera tarimpa frua avreno ne-egeno, agri avufgama rutraga trago'ma hu'naza zamo, tagrira tazeri kanamre'ne.
Yet he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement for our peace was upon him; and through his bruises was healing granted to us.
6 Tagra maka vahe'mota sipisipi afu'mo hiaza huta kana atreta, tavesia kampi ufre efre nehunkeno, tagrama hu'nona hazenke'mofo nona'a, tagra'a knazana erigaragi, Ra Anumzamo'a knazana ana ne'mofo agofetu erintegeno eri'ne.
We all like sheep went astray; every one to his own way did we turn; and the Lord let befall him the guilt of us all.
7 Vahe'moza ana nera azeri haviza nehu'za, atazana ami'nazanagi agira reakara huno keaga osu'ne. Ana nehuno sipisipi afumofo anenta'a ahenaku avre'za vuge, sipisipimofo azoka harenaku avre'za nevazageno akoheno viaza huno agira reakara huno kea osuno akoheno vu'ne.
He was oppressed, and he was also taunted, yet he opened not his mouth; like the lamb which is led to the slaughter, and like an ewe before her shearers is dumb; and he opened not his mouth.
8 Ana nera azerite'za keagare avre'za vu'nazanagi, keaga'a refkohu so'e hu'za onke'za frigahie hu'za hu'naze. Hagi iza huama huno ana nekura ama naga nofipinti eforera hu'ne hunora hugahie? Ana hu'neankino nagri vahe'mota ke ontahi kumi tamavutamava zamofo nona'a agri agofetu erinte'za sefura nemi'za, ama mopafintira ame hu'za azeri atre'naze.
Through oppression and through judicial punishment was he taken away; but his generation—who could tell, that he was cut away out of the land of life, [that] for the transgressions of my people the plague was laid on him?
And he let his grave be made with the wicked, and with the [godless] rich at his death; although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth.
10 E'ina hu'neanagi Ra Anumzamo'a Agra'a avesite ana nera azeri henkamu atreno knazana amigeno asunkuzampina mani'ne. Ana ne'mo'ma vahe'mota kumimofo nonama huno frinegu huno agra zazate ofri manino nevuno, agigo azankomofona kegahie.
But the Lord was pleased to crush him through disease: when [now] his soul hath brought the trespass-offering, then shall he see [his] seed, live many days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11 Ana ne'mo'ma erisnia knazamo'ma vagama retesigeno'a, so'e huno manigahie. Ra Anumzamo'a huno Nagri eri'za ne'mofo avu'avazamo'a fatgo hu'neankino, antahintahi zama'areti maka vahera zamazeri fatgo vahera neseno, kumi zamimofo knazana erigofigahie.
[Freed] from the trouble of his soul shall he see [the good] and be satisfied: through his knowledge shall my righteous servant bring the many to righteousness, while he will bear their iniquities.
12 E'ina hu'negu zamagima me'nea vahe'mo'zama fenoma erisafintira agrama erisiama'a nagra eri amigahue. (Luku 22:37.)
Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the many, and with the strong shall he divide the spoil; because he poured out his soul unto death, and with transgressors was he numbered: while he bore the sin of many, and for the transgressors he let [evil] befall him.
