1 Tasunku hugantone. Efraemi naga'mo'zama nemaniza rankumamoka, knare'nare kavasase zankamo nehigenka mani'nanke'za, Efraemi naga'mo'za aka ti nene'za zamavufaga erisga nehaze. Hagi ana rankumamoka tra'zamo knare avasase renteaza hunka, agona kaziga knare agupo mopafi hentofa waini hoza ante'nane. Hianagi kavufgama erisgama nehana zana, mago zupa zagemo traza te vamagiaza hunka haviza hugahane.
Alas! for the proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim, And for his fading wreath of majestic beauty, —Which is on the head of the fertile valley, of them who are overcome with wine.
2 Hanki ko, Ra Anumzamo'a hankavenentake sondia vahera ko huhampri'neankino ana vahe huzmantesige'za e'za tusi ko'mopa komo'ene tusi'a zahomo'ene timo'ene hageno refiteaza hu'za ame hu'za zamahe'za mopafi refitegahaze.
Lo! My Lord hath one who is, strong and bold, Like a storm of hail, a destroying tempest, Like a storm of mighty waters overflowing, Hath he thrust it down to the earth with force:
3 Hagi Efraemi naga'mozama aka tima nene'za, Sameria kumaku'ma zamimizama runafe'ma nehaza vahera ha' vahe'mo'za zamagiareti eme rentrako hu'za zamare hapatigahaze.
With the feet shall be trodden down, the proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim,
4 Hagi kagra knare agona mopafi flauamo avasase zama'ane me'neankna hunka mani'nane. Hianagi zafa raga tagi knama zahufama ome'negeno, ame huno mago fiki zafa ragamo afure'negeno, mago vahe'mo keteno ame huno tagino neankna hugahaze.
So shall his fading wreath of majestic beauty, Which is on the head of the fertile valley, become—Like the first-ripe fig before fruit-harvest, Which when he that looketh upon it seeth while it is yet in his hand, he swalloweth it up.
5 Hanki ana knafima osi'a naga'ma ofri'ma manisnaza nagatera Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzamo'a zamasenire'ma kini fetorima avasasezama anteaza huno Agra'a manigahie.
In that day, will Yahweh of hosts become A crown of beauty, and A diadem of majesty, —Unto the remnant of his people:
6 Ana nehuno trate'ma mani'neno kema refkoma hanimofona, fatgoma huno kema refko hu avamu Anumzamo'a nemino, hankavemati'za ha'ma hu'za kuma'ma aguvazisnaza sondia vahera hankave zamisige'za kuma kafantera otigahaze.
Even a spirit of justice—to him that presideth over justice, And strength to them who would turn back the battle at the gate.
But as for these, With wine, do they reel, and With strong drink, do they stagger, —Priest and prophet, reel with strong drink They are swallowed up through wine They stagger through strong drink, They reel in prophetic vision, They totter in pronouncing judgment.
8 Hagi mani'naza tratera amu'mati'naza zamo avitegeno, magore huno amne kankamuna omanetfa hu'ne.
For, all tables, are full of filthy vomit, —There is no place!
9 Ana vahe'mo'za amanage nehaze, agra iza antahi'zana rempi hunemino, naneke'a izante eri ama huno asaminakura nehuno, iza aminte osi mofavrea mani'nea mofavremofo asaminakura nehie hu'za nehaze.
Whom, would he teach knowledge? And, whom, would he cause to understand the message? Them who are weaned from the milk? taken from the breasts?
10 Agra maka zupa ana nanekege'za nehie. Mago ne'mo'ma osi mofavremofoma eri amatfa huno osite osite isare isare, trate trate e'ina huo huteno, amana huo huteno'ma hiaza nehie.
For it is—Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, —A little here a little there.
11 Ana hu'negu Ra Anumzamo'a ru vahe zamagipi huvazino, ontahi'nesnaza zamagerupinti vahe'amofona nanekea huzamigahie.
For, with a jabbering lip, and with an alien tongue, must he speak unto this people!
12 Hagi ana vahekura Anumzamo'a amanage huno zamasami'ne, ama kumara mani fruhu kumaki, zamatrenke'za knazama eneriza vahe'mo'za mani fru hiho. Hianagi ana kea ontahi'naze.
To whom he said—This, is the rest—give ye rest to the weary, and This, is the quietness, —But they were unwilling to hear.
13 E'ina hu'negu osi mofavrema rempi hunezamizaza huno, Ra Anumzamo'a agra'a eri amatfa huno isare isare, trate trate e'ina hiho huteno, amana hiho huteno osite osite fru huno kea nezmasamina zamefira rukrahe hu'za traka hu'za hazenke eri'za mase'nesage'za eme zamazeri'za vugahaze.
So the word of Yahweh must be to them—Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, A little here, a little there, —That they may go and fall backward and be torn and snared and captured.
14 E'ina hu'negu Jerusalemi rankumate'ma mani'netama ki'za zokago kema nehaza kva vahera Ra Anumzamofo nanekea antahiho.
Wherefore, hear ye the word of Yahweh, Ye men who scoff, —Ye rulers of this people that is in Jerusalem.
15 Na'ankure tamagra amanage hutma nehaze, tagra fri'zane huvempa nehuta, fri vahe kuma'ene keaga huhagerafi'none nehaze. Hagi henka knazama esania knazamo'a, tavakora osugahie. Na'ankure tagrama havigema nehuna kemo, tagu'vazina manigahune nehuta, vahe'ma rezmavatgama nehuna zamo frakirantegahie huta nehaze. (Sheol )
Because ye have said—We have solemnised a covenant with death, And with hades, have we effected a vision, —The overflowing scourge when it sweepeth by, shall not reach unto us, For we have made lying our refuge. And in falsehood, have we hid ourselves, (Sheol )
16 E'ina hu'negu Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno nehie, Antahiho, noma renagentete'ma asenentaza havea hanavenentake higeno zago'amo'a mareri'nea havea Saioni agonare asente'noankino, iza'o ana havere'ma amentintima hanimo'a agazegura huno antahintahi hakarea osugahie.
Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, Behold me! founding in Zion a stone, A stone of testing, The costly corner of a well-laid foundation, he that trusteth, shall not make haste!
17 Hagi fatgoma huno kema refkohu avu'avara, kema refkoma hu'za nente'na, fatgoma huno refkoma hu avu'ava zana, fatgoma huno refkoma hu'za antegahue. Ana hanugeno havigema nehu'za framanekiza kumazmia, tusi ununko'mo runo tina hageno eno emeri haviza huno vugahie.
But I will make—Justice the line, and Righteousness the plummet, —And the hail shall, sweep away, your refuge of lying, And your hiding-place, the waters shall overflow;
18 Hagi ofrigahunema huta fri'zanema huvempama hu'naza nanekea eri atresugeno, fri vahe kuma'enema huhagerafi'naza nanekemo'a amne zankna hugahie. Ana nehanigeno henkama esania knazamo'a, eme tamazeri haviza huno tamare hapatigahie. (Sheol )
So shall be wiped out your covenant with death, And your vision with hades, not stand, —When the overflowing scourge, sweepeth past, then shall ye be thereby beaten down: (Sheol )
19 Ana knazamo'a tamagerfa huno tamatreno ovuno, hanine zagene maka knafinena tamagrane meno vugahie. Hagi ama ana kemofo agafa'ama antahi ama'ma hanutma antri nehutma tamagogogu hugahaze.
As often as it sweepeth past, it shall take you away, For morning by morning, shall it pass along. By day and by night, —And it shall be nothing less than a terror to make out the message;
20 Hagi mase sipamo'a atupa higeno, kofino'ma mase kafe'mo'ma atupa hu'negeno vahe'mo kenage mase so'e nosiaza hutma mase so'ea osugahaze.
For too short is the couch to stretch oneself out, —And, the coverlet, too narrow, when one draweth up his feet.
21 Na'ankure Perasimi agonafine, Gibioni agupofima ko'ma hu'neaza huno hankave'ane Ra Anumzamo'a eno eri'zama'a erigahuema huno hu'nea eri'zana emerigahie. Hianagi ana eri'zama erisniana tamagrama antahi'naza kantera e'orino, ruzahu kna eri'za erigahie.
For as in Mount Perazim, will Yahweh, arise, As in the vale of Gibeon, will he be stirred, —To do his work—foreign is his work, And to perform his task—strange is his task.
22 E'ina hu'negu kiza zokago kema nehaza zana atreho. Hagi anama osnazana ko'ma mani'naza avamena agatereta tusi'a knazampi ufregahaze. Na'ankure Ra Anumzana Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Anumzamo'a, ama maka mopa eri haviza hugahue huno hu'nea naneke nehue.
Now, therefore do not show yourselves scoffers, Lest your fetters, be bound fast, —For, of a full end, and that a decreed one, have I heard from My Lord, Yahweh of hosts upon all the land
23 Hagi menina tamagesa ante so'e hu'neta, nagrama hanua nanekea antahiho.
Give ear, and hear ye my voice, —Hearken, and hear ye my speech: —
24 Hagi magora hozama nentea ne'mo'a hozama ante'nakura mopage'za rehankori vava huno nevifi? Anara nehuno mopage'za rupopo huvava huno vugahifi?
All day long, doth the plowman plow for sowing? Doth he continue laying open and harrowing his soil?
25 Hagi mopama rehankorino eri ante fatgoma huteno'a, anampina haninke mepo nehankreno, witia kankamunte erinte fatgo huno nehankreno, balia kankamu'are nehankreno, hozamofo ankinarega raisia kri kanegiaza me'ne.
Doth he not when he hath levelled the face thereof, Cast abroad the fennel? And, the cummin, doth he not scatter? And plant wheat in rows, And barley in a lot, And spelt in the border thereof?
26 Hozama erinte fatgoma huno ante antahintahia Anumzamo'a rempi hunemie.
Yea One hath trained him to good judgment, His God, directeth him.
27 Hagi haninke mepo'a, witima refuzafumanepea zafaretira, refuzafuranope. Witima refuzafupe zafama donki afumo'ma renteno vano nehia zafaretira kohera refuzafunope. Hianagi mepoma amasaginakura osi kanonteti nemasagino, ra kanontetira nomasagiaza me'ne.
For not with a sledge, must, black coriander be threshed, Nor must, the wheel of a cart, on cummin, be turned, But with a staff, must fennel be beaten, And cummin with a rod:
28 Hagi witi raga refuzafupeno bretia tro nehie. E'ina hu'negu zazatera refuzafupe vava osugahie. Na'ankure hosi afutema rentesia karisiretima witima zazate'ma refuzafumapeniana haviza hugahie.
Bread-corn, must be crushed, —Yet would he not be evermore, threshing, it, So he hasteneth over it the wheel of his cart, with his horsemen, He crusheth it not!
29 Hagi ana maka eri'zama eri antahi'zana, Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzamofontegati ne-e. Vahe'ma azeri fatgoma hu kaziga knare hu'neno, knare antahi'zampina avite'ne.
Even this, from Yahweh of hosts, cometh forth, —Who hath bestowed distinction upon counsel, And magnified sound wisdom.
