1 Antahiho, Ra Anumzamo'a ama mopa eri haviza hanigeno, ama mopamo'a ka'ma mopa megahie. Ana nehuno Agra ama mopamofo avugosa eri ruzahe zahu nehuno, vahetamina zamazeri panani hugahie.

Some day, Yahweh is going to destroy everything on the earth. He will devastate it and cause it to become a desert and scatter its people.

2 Hagi pristi vahe'ma amne vahe'ma, eri'za vahe'ene kva vahe'ene, eri'za a'nanene kva a'nanenena anahu knazanke enerisageno, fenozama mizanesaza vahe'mo'zane, zagore'ma fenozama netraza vahe'mo'zane, zagoma nofi'ma nehaza vahe'mo'zane zagoma nofite'ma netraza vahe'mo'zanena anazanke hu'za anahu knazanke erigahaze. Ana zanke hu'za vahe'zama erite'za nezamiza vahe'mo'zane, vahe'zama eneriza vahe'mo'zanena anahu' knazanke erigahaze.

He will scatter everyone— priests and common people, servants and their masters, maids and their mistresses, buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, people who owe money and people who are owed money.

3 Ama mopamo'a havizantfa huno mago'zana omanena, ka'ma koka megahie. Ra Anumzamo ama ana nanekea hu'ne.

Nothing that is worth anything will be left on earth; everything valuable will be destroyed. [That will surely happen because] Yahweh has said it.

4 Ama mopamo'a hagege huno haviza nehina, asunku nehuno zavi krafa hugahie. Ana nehina ama mopafima zamagine vahe'ma nemaniza vahe'mokizmi zamagimo'a fanane hugahie.

[Everything on] the earth will dry up and die [DOU]; its important people will become weak and unimportant.

5 Ama mopafima nemaniza vahe'mo'za ama mopa eri haviza hu'naze. Na'ankure zamagra Anumzamofo kasegene tra kenena runetagre'za Anumzamo'ma zamagranema mevava huhagerafi huvempa kema huhagerafi'nea kea ruhantagi'naze.

The earth has become unacceptable to Yahweh because the people who live on it have disobeyed his laws; they have rejected the agreement that he intended to last forever.

6 E'ina hu'negu Anumzamo'a ama mopa sifna hunteno azeri haviza nehige'za, ama mopafima mani'naza vahe'mo'zama havi zamavu'zamava'ma hu'naza zamofo nona'a knazana eri'za fri vagarazage'za osi'a naga mani'naze.

Therefore, [Yahweh] will curse the earth; the people who live on it must be punished because of the sins that they have committed. They will be destroyed by fire, and [only a] few people will remain [alive].

7 Hagi kasefa wainimoza zavi krafa nehazageno, waini nofimo'enena kasrine. Ana hige'za waini tima nene'za muse zagame'ma nehaza vahe'mo'za karagi ru'naze.

The grapevines will wither, and there will be no [grapes to make] wine. All [the people] who were previously happy will then groan and mourn.

8 Hagi nase'nasepamofo agasasamo'a vagaregeno, hapu zavenanema nehe'zama musema nehaza zana vagare'ne.

People will no longer play cheerful songs with tambourines, people will no longer play joyfully on their harps, and people will no longer shout noisily [during their celebrations].

9 Hagi waini tina ne'nazanagi muse zagamera osu'naze. Na'ankure waini timo'a zamagitera akahe'ne.

People will no longer sing while they drink wine, and [all] their alcoholic drinks will taste bitter.

10 Hazenke zamo'ma avimate'nea kumamo'a fragu vazino evuramigeno ka'ma koka megeno, nontamimofo kafaramimo'a erigi vagare'neankino, mago vahe'mo'a ana nontamimpina uofregahie.

[Towns and] cities will be desolate; every house will be locked to prevent thieves from entering.

11 Ama mopafima musenkasema nehaza zana hago vagare'ne. Ana hige'za kumamofo karampi mani'ne'za musema nehaza wainigura krafa hu'za kezati'naze.

[Mobs] will gather in the streets, wanting wine; no one on the earth will be happy [DOU] any more.

12 Hagi rankumamo'a havizantfa higeno, ana kumamofo kahamo'a tamana tamanu huno evurami'ne.

Cities will be ruined and [all] their gates will be battered/broken into pieces.

13 Anahu kna avu'ava zamoke, ana maka mopafima nemaniza vahepina fore hutere hugahie. Olivi rgama tagige, grepi rgama tagite'za osi'a ragama atrazageno zafare menege'za neragizankna hu'za osi'a vahe manigahaze.

It will be like that all over the earth: [there will only be a few people still alive], like what happens when [workers] beat all the olives off a tree [and there are only a few left], [or] when they harvest the grapes and there are only a few left [on the vines].

14 Hagi anama hanige'za zamagra zamagerura erisga hu'za muse zagame hugahaze. Ana nehanage'za zage fre kazigama nemaniza vahe'mo'za Ra Anumzamofo hihamu hankave'agura ranke hu'za Agi'a ahentesga hugahaze.

But [those who are left alive] will sing joyfully; people [in nations] to the west [of Israel] will declare that Yahweh is very great;

15 E'ina hu'negu maka vahe'ma zage hanati kazigama nemani'za vahe'mota Ra Anumzamofona agi'a ahentesga nehinkeno, hageri ankenama nemaniza vahe'mota Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe'mokizmi Anumzamofona Agi'a ahentesga huta ra agi amigahaze.

people in nations to the east [of Israel will also] praise Yahweh [MTY]; in countries across the sea, people will praise Yahweh, the God whom we Israelis [worship].

16 Hagi mopama ome atre eme atrema hu kazigatira muse zagame'ma nehazana, amanahu zagame nehazanki antahiho. Fatgo avu'avazama nehia Anumzamofona agi'a ahentesga nehune hu'za hu'naze. Hianagi nagra amanage hu'na hu'noe, nasunku huanki'na musena nosu'na haviza hu'na amne zankna hugahue. Na'ankure nagrama koana, havi zamavuzmava nehu'za havige nehaza vahe'mo'za, mago'ene vahera rezmatga nehu'za, zamazeri haviza nehazanki, ina vaheku knare vahera mani'ne huta antahimigahune.

We will hear [people] in the most distant places on the earth singing praise to [Yahweh], the [truly] righteous one. But [now], I am [SYN] very sad. Weep for me, [because] I have become thin and weak. Terrible things are happening! Treacherous [people still] betray/deceive others everywhere [DOU].

17 Ama mopafima mani'naza vahe'mota tamagri'ma tamazeri tamagogofe'nia zamo'ene krifumo'ene kukomo'enena tamazerinaku tamavega ante'naze.

You people all over the earth, you will be terrified, and you will fall into deep pits and traps/snares.

18 Hagi knazama esania zamofo agasasankema nentahino koro'ma freno vania vahe'mo'a, kerifi uramigahie. Ana hanigeno iza'o ana kerifinti'ma atiramino koro'ma fre'nia vahera kukomo azeri antarako hugahie. Anami monamo'a ruhagaro nehanigeno, ama mopamo'ma rigama anteno me'nea tramo'a kaza hugahie

Those who [try to] flee because they are terrified will fall into [deep] pits, and those who climb out of the pits will be caught by traps/snares. The sky will split open and torrents [SIM] [of rain will fall]; the foundations of the earth will shake.

19 Ana nehanigeno mopamo'a kekokako huno atamana huneraminigeno, mopamo'a rutragino vuno eno nehanigeno, tusiza huno mopamo'a tore tore hugahie.

The earth will split apart and be shattered; it will shake violently.

20 Anama nehanigeno'a ama mopamo'a, vahe'mo negi ti ne'neno antifi omere emere hiaza nehuno, tusi'a zaho'mo mago osi nonte zaho erigeno, masete otite hiaza hugahie. Hagi ama mopafi vahe'mofo ke ontahi zamavu'zmavamo hanigeno, mopamo'a evuramino mago'enena ete oraotigahie.

[It will be as though] the earth will stagger like [SIM] a drunk; it will shake like [SIM] a hut [shakes in a windstorm]. It will collapse and not [be able to] rise again, [because] the guilt of the people who rebel [against Yahweh] is very great.

21 Hagi ana knafina Ra Anumzamo'a anami monafima nemaniza havi ankero vahe'ene, ama mopafi kini vahetamina zamazeri haviza hugahie.

At that time, Yahweh will punish the [wicked] powerful beings in the skies and the wicked kings on the earth.

22 Ana nehuno murigampi vahe zamavare vazi'za kina huzmantazaza huno, Ra Anumzamo'a magopi zamavare atru huno kina huzmantegahie. Ana hanige'za zazate manitesnageno, henka knazana zamigahie.

They will [all] be gathered together and thrown into a dungeon/pit. They will be shut/locked in that dungeon/pit, and later they will be punished.

23 Hagi ikamo'a kizmankizma nehanigeno, zagemo'a agazegu hugahie. Na'ankure Monafi sondia vahe'mofo Ra Anumzamo'a Saioni agonafi Jerusalemi kumate kinia emanino vahera kegava hugahie. Ana hanigeno Agri masazamo'a, Jerusalemi kumate ugota kva vahe'amofo zamavuga me'nesnige'za kegahaze.

At that time the light of the moon and the sun will be lessened; [it will be as though] they are ashamed [in the presence of] Yahweh, because he, the Commander of the armies of angels, will rule gloriously (on Zion Hill/in Jerusalem), in the presence of the leaders [of his people].
