< Hosea 13 >

1 Hagi kora Efraemi naga'mozama kema hazage'za vahe'mo'za koro huza zmahirahiku nehazageno, Israeli vahepina zamagimo'a mareri'ne. Hianagi Efraemi vahe'mo'za Bali havi anumzante monora hunte'za kumira hu'nazagu fri'naze.
When Ephraim spoke, there was trembling. He exalted himself in Israel, but when he became guilty through Baal, he died.
2 Hagi meninena Israeli vahe'mo'za mago'ane kumira huvava hu'za nevu'za, kaza osu havi anumzamofo amema'a silvareti tro hunte'naze. Ana nehu'za ana zantera Kresramanama vunenteta agira antako hunteho hu'za nehaze.
Now they sin more and more, and have made themselves molten images of their silver, even idols according to their own understanding, all of them the work of the craftsmen. They say of them, ‘They offer human sacrifice and kiss the calves.’
3 E'ina hu'nagu zamagra nantera hampomo fanane hiankna nehu'za, nantera zage rentegeno ata'mo fanane hiankna ana vahe'mo'za hugahaze. Ana nehu'za witi honama hare kumapinti zahomo witi hona eri hareno viankna nehu'za, tokima mareri kampinti teve tokimo atiramino ome vagareankna nehaze.
Therefore they will be like the morning mist, like the dew that passes away early, like the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the threshing floor, and like the smoke out of the chimney.
4 Hianagi Nagra tamagri Anumzamo'na Isipitira tamavre'na e'noa Anumza mani'noe. Hagi tamagra ru anumzamofo agia ahentesga osiho. Na'ankure tamagu'ma vazi Anumzana magora omani'neanki, Nagrake'za mani'noe.
“Yet I am the LORD your God from the land of Egypt; and you shall acknowledge no god but me, and besides me there is no savior.
5 Hagi hagege huno tima omane ka'ma kopina, Nagra kegava huramante'noe.
I knew you in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.
6 Hianagi Nagra ne'zana tamugeta neramu'ma nehuta, tamagra tamavufga erisaga nehuta, Nagrira tamage kaninante'naze.
According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted. Therefore they have forgotten me.
7 E'ina hu'negu Nagra laionimo zagagafa aheaza hu'na neramahe'na, lepatimo karanka frakineno zagagafa aheno tagana vaziankna hugahue.
Therefore I am like a lion to them. Like a leopard, I will lurk by the path.
8 Hagi Nagra a' beamo'ma anenta'a avre'nageno ha'hiankna hu'na zamahe'na zamimiza eri tapage hunetrena, laionimo zagagafa aheno neankna nehu'na, afi zagamo zagagafa aheno tagana vazinkna hu'na zamahena tagna taganu vazitregahue.
I will meet them like a bear that is bereaved of her cubs, and will tear the covering of their heart. There I will devour them like a lioness. The wild animal will tear them.
9 Hagi Israeli vahe'mota tamagra havizantfa hugahaze. Na'ankure tamagra tamazama nehua Anumzamo'na ha' renante'naze.
You are destroyed, Israel, because you are against me, against your helper.
10 Hagi ranra kumatamifinti'ma tamagu'ma vazinia kini vahetamia iga mani'naze? Hagi kini vahe'ene kva vahetaminema tamio huta hu'naza kini vahe'tamine kva vahetaminena iga mani'naze?
Where is your king now, that he may save you in all your cities? And your judges, of whom you said, ‘Give me a king and princes’?
11 Anagema hazage'na narimpa aheneramante'na, kini vahera tamamite'na ete tusi narimpa ahe neramante'na, ana kini vahera zamavare atre'noe.
I have given you a king in my anger, and have taken him away in my wrath.
12 Hagi Efraemi vahe'mokizmi kefo avu'ava zana kona anakintegeno me'negeno, kumizmia avompi krentegeno me'ne.
The guilt of Ephraim is stored up. His sin is stored up.
13 Hagi Israeli vahe'mo'za anemo'zama mofavre antenaku'ma nehazageno nehiankna zamata erigahazanagi, ana mofavrea knare antahiza omane mofavre kasenteankna hugahaze. Hagi mofavrema kasente knarera, ana mofavremo'a nerera arimpafintira atioramigahie.
The sorrows of a travailing woman will come on him. He is an unwise son, for when it is time, he doesn’t come to the opening of the womb.
14 Hagi Nagra fri vahe kumapintira (Seol) ete ozamavaregahufi? Hagi fri'zamofo hanavefintira ozmavregahufi? Hagi nagra ama ana vahekura nasunkura osugahue. (Sheol h7585)
I will ransom them from the power of Sheol. I will redeem them from death! Death, where are your plagues? Sheol, where is your destruction? “Compassion will be hidden from my eyes. (Sheol h7585)
15 Hagi miko kafuhe'i amunompina Efraemiga knare'za hunka nehagenka tretre hunka mareri'nane. Hianagi Ra Anumzamo'a zage hanati kazigati zahora hunte'nigeno hagege kokampina zahora erino ne-eno, tinkeria eri neraneno, neonse tinena eri hagege nehuno, maka mareri zago fenozana emeri vagareno vugahie.
Though he is fruitful among his brothers, an east wind will come, the breath of the LORD coming up from the wilderness; and his spring will become dry, and his fountain will be dried up. He will plunder the storehouse of treasure.
Samaria will bear her guilt, for she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword. Their infants will be dashed in pieces, and their pregnant women will be ripped open.”
