< Havakaki 1 >

1 Ama nanekea kasnampa ne' Habakukuma ava'nagna zampi Anumzamo eri averi higeno ke'nea zamofo naneke.
The word which Habakkuk the prophet saw.
Hianagi kagra antahi onami'nane. Kagritega krafa hu'na hazenke zamo'a avite hu'na huanagi, kagra enka eme nagura ovazi'nane.
How long, O Lord, will your ears be shut to my voice? I make an outcry to you about violent behaviour, but you do not send salvation.
3 Na'a agafare havi avu'ava zana eri naveri hanke'na negoe? Ana nehunka nagafare natranke'na kefo avu'ava zana negoe? Navuma keganti kegamama huana, hazenke zamo'ene kefo avu'ava zamoke avite'na'e.
Why do you make me see evil-doing, and why are my eyes fixed on wrong? for wasting and violent acts are before me: and there is fighting and bitter argument.
4 Hanki kasegemofona hankave'a omanegeno, keagafima nanekema fatgoma huno refko hu so'e huno keteno miza agima ahente avu'ava zamo'enena ome haviza hie. Havi avu'ava zama nehaza vahe'mo'za, fatgo avu'ava zama nehaza vahera ru zamagatere'za rama'a vahe mani'naze. E'i ana agafare fatgoma huno refkohu avu'ava zana eri rukrahe krahu nehaze.
For this reason the law is feeble and decisions are not effected: for the upright man is circled round by evil-doers; because of which right is twisted.
5 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a kenona huno, Ama mopafima me'nea kumatamimpima keganti kegama hunka kavuma kesanunka antri hugahane. Na'ankure menima kagrama mani'nana kna'afina mago'a zana tro nehuankinka, ana zanku'ma kasamisnagenka antahi ozamigahane. (Aposolo 13:41)
See among the nations, and take note, and be full of wonder: for in your days I am doing a work in which you will have no belief, even if news of it is given to you.
6 Hagi keho, Babiloni vahera kea ontahi hazenke vahe mani'nazanki'na zamazeri hankavetisuge'za ama mopafina maka kaziga vano nehu'za, ru vahe'mokizmi nonkumara zamahe'za hanaregahaze.
For see, I am sending the Chaldaeans, that bitter and quick-moving nation; who go through the wide spaces of the earth to get for themselves living-places which are not theirs.
7 Ana Babiloni vahekura maka vahe'mo'za tusi koro hunezmante'za zmagogogu nehaza vahe mani'naze. Ana nehu'za mago kasegea ovariri'za zamagra'a kasegere oti vahe mani'naze.
They are greatly to be feared: their right comes from themselves.
And their horses are quicker than leopards and their horsemen more cruel than evening wolves; they come from far away, like an eagle in flight rushing on its food.
They are coming all of them with force; the direction of their faces is forward, the number of their prisoners is like the sands of the sea.
10 Ana vahe'mo'za kini vahekura zokagoke hunezmante'za, kva vahe'mokizmia zamagi'za regahaze. Hankave vihu keginama hugagi'naza ranra kumakura kiza nere'za, vihu kegina zamirera fegiati mopa kate'za ante hihi hu'za mareri'za hara huzmante'za kumara e'neriza vahe egahaze.
He makes little of kings, rulers are a sport to him; all the strong places are to be laughed at; for he makes earthworks and takes them.
Hianagi zamagra ko havi avu'ava hu'naza vahe mani'naze.
Then his purpose will be changed, over-stepping the limit; he will make his strength his god.
12 Ra Anumzana nagri Anumzana Ruotage'ma hu'nana Anumzanimoka, kagra ofri mani vava hunka neana Anumza mani'nane. Tamagerfa hunka tagrira tazeri fanane hunakura nosane. Hagi ha' vahetia Kagra huhampari zamantanke'za e'za tagrama hu'nona tavutava zantera mizama'a eme tami'naze. Tagrama fra'ma kisuna haveti'moka, Kagra Babiloni vahera huhampri zmantanke'za e'za tagrama hu'nona kumimofo nona'a knazana eme tamiza tazeri fatgo hu'naze.
Are you not eternal, O Lord my God, my Holy One? for you there is no death. O Lord, he has been ordered by you for our punishment; and by you, O Rock, he has been marked out to put us right.
13 Kagri kavumo'a agru hu'neankinka havi avu'ava zantera kavua nonkane. Ana nehunka kumikura kavesra hunentane. Hagi na'a agafare havi avu'ava zama nehu'za havigema nehaza vahera zamaza nehane? Hagi havi avu'ava zama nehaza vahe'mo'zama e'za, fatgo zamavu zamava'ma nehaza vahe'ma eme zamazeri havizama nehazagenka, na'a higenka kea osu akohenka nemani'ne?
Before your holy eyes sin may not be seen, and you are unable to put up with wrong; why, then, are your eyes on the false? why do you say nothing when the evil-doer puts an end to one who is more upright than himself?
14 Kagra hagerimpi nozamegna hunka vahera tro nehunka, zamasaguregati'ma regraroma ahe'za vanoma nehaza zagaramimofo kva vahe'zamima omani'nazankna tagra nehumpi?
He has made men like the fishes of the sea, like the worms which have no ruler over them.
He takes them all up with his hook, he takes them in his net, getting them together in his fishing-net: for which cause he is glad and full of joy.
For this reason he makes an offering to his net, burning perfume to his fishing-net; because by them he gets much food and his meat is fat.
17 Kagra zamatresanke'za ana avu'ava zana hu'za vuvava hugahazafi? Ana nehu'za maka ama mopafi vahera zamasunkura huozamante zamazeri haviza huvava hu'za vugahazo?
For this cause his net is ever open, and there is no end to his destruction of the nations.
