1 Anumzamo'a amanage huno Jekopuna asami'ne, Ko'ma negafu Isonku'ma koro frenka nevanke'na kagrite efore hugami'noa kumate otinka anagamu Beteli vunka anante umani'nenka, anante Anumzamo'na ita tro hunanto.
And God saith unto Jacob, 'Rise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there, and make there an altar to God, who appeared unto thee in thy fleeing from the face of Esau thy brother.'
2 Higeno Jekopu'a amanage huno naga'ane, Agranema nemaniza naga'mokizmia zamasmi'ne. Maka havi anumzantmina netreta, tamagu'a retro nehuta, agru kukena timia antaniho.
And Jacob saith unto his household, and unto all who [are] with him, 'Turn aside the gods of the stranger which [are] in your midst, and cleanse yourselves, and change your garments;
3 E'ina hutenketa anagamu Beteli vuta, antahima nenamino kna'zampinti'ma naza nehuno, hakare kazigama nevugeno nagranema nemania Anumzamofo Kresramanavu ita, e'i anante ome tro hugahue.
and we rise, and go up to Bethel, and I make there an altar to God, who is answering me in the day of my distress, and is with me in the way that I have gone.'
4 E'inage hige'za maka vahe'mo'za havi anumzazamine, zamegesafi renentaza rinine eri'za Jekopu eme amizageno erino Sekemu rankuma tava'onte oki zafa agafafi keri kafino asente'ne.
And they give unto Jacob all the gods of the stranger that [are] in their hand, and the rings that [are] in their ears, and Jacob hideth them under the oak which [is] by Shechem;
5 Hagi Jekopu'ma karanka naga'anema nevigeno'a Anumzamo'a Kenani kumapima nemaniza vahera zamazeri koro hige'za, mago'zana huozamante'naze.
and they journey, and the terror of God is on the cities which [are] round about them, and they have not pursued after the sons of Jacob.
6 Jekopu'ene vahe'ane ana maka vu'za Lusi uhanati'naze. Mago agi'a Beteligino ana mopa Kenani me'ne.
And Jacob cometh in to Luz which [is] in the land of Canaan (it [is] Bethel), he and all the people who [are] with him,
7 Jekopu'a havere ita tro hunteno agi'a El Betelie hu'ne. Na'ankure nefu Isonku koro'ma freno nevigeno, Anumzamo'a korapara anante fore humi'neane.
and he buildeth there an altar, and proclaimeth at the place the God of Bethel: for there had God been revealed unto him, in his fleeing from the face of his brother.
8 Anante mani'nageno Rebekana avate eri'za ara Debora'a frige'za oki zafa agafafi Betelia ohenkamu'a asente'naze. Nehu'za agi'a Alon Bakutie hu'za ante'naze. (Zamagra kefina, zavi zafe hu'naze.)
And Deborah, Rebekah's nurse, dieth, and she is buried at the lower part of Bethel, under the oak, and he calleth its name 'Oak of weeping.'
9 Hagi Padan-Aramuma atreno Jekopu'ma ete Kenani moparema egeno'a, Anumzamo'a mago'ene efore humino, asomu hunte'ne.
And God appeareth unto Jacob again, in his coming from Padan-Aram, and blesseth him;
10 Anumzamo'a amanage huno asmi'ne, Menina kagi'a Jekopu'e huno me'ne. Hianagi mago'enena Jekopu'e hu'za osugahazanki, Israeli'e huno kagi'a megahie. Israeli'e huno Anumzamo'a Jekopu agi'a antemi'ne.
and God saith to him, 'Thy name [is] Jacob: thy name is no more called Jacob, but Israel is thy name;' and He calleth his name Israel.
11 Anumzamo'a mago'ene amanage huno asami'ne, Nagra hihamu'ane Anumzane, mofavrea kasezmantege'za kokankoka mopafina fore huhakare hu'za rukazi hu'za rankumara ante'za nemaninage'za, mago'amo'za kini vahera efore hugahaze.
And God saith to him, 'I [am] God Almighty; be fruitful and multiply, a nation and an assembly of nations is from thee, and kings from thy loins go out;
12 Abrahamune, Aisaki'gizni Nagra zanami'noa mopa kagrira kamigahue. Hagi henka ama ana mopa Nagra kagehe'i zamigahue.
and the land which I have given to Abraham and to Isaac — to thee I give it, yea to thy seed after thee I give the land.'
13 Anage huteno Anumzamo'a Jekopu'enema keagama ha'a kumara atreno ete mareri'ne.
And God goeth up from him, in the place where He hath spoken with him.
14 Jekopu'a ra have erino eme retru renenteno, ana haverera waini ti tagino ofa nehuno, oliv masave erino eme ragi'ne.
And Jacob setteth up a standing pillar in the place where He hath spoken with him, a standing pillar of stone, and he poureth on it an oblation, and he poureth on it oil;
15 Ana nehuno Jekopu'a Anumzamo'enema keaga hu'nea kuma'mofo agi'a Betelie huno ante'ne.
and Jacob calleth the name of the place where God spake with him Bethel.
16 Hagi anantetira Jekopu'a naga'ane Betelia atre'za, Efrata kumate vunaku nevazageno, kantega Resolina mofavre ante kna'amo'a egofta higeno tusi atagu hu'ne.
And they journey from Bethel, and there is yet a kibrath of land before entering Ephratha, and Rachel beareth, and is sharply pained in her bearing;
17 Hagi Resolina mofavre'za negegeno tusi atagu nehigeno anante mofavrema aza huno kase aminaku'ma avega huno mani'nea a'mo'a amanage huno asami'ne, mago' ne'mofavre kasentananki korora osuo.
and it cometh to pass, in her being sharply pained in her bearing, that the midwife saith to her, 'Fear not, for this also [is] a son for thee.'
18 Resoli'a kasenteteno fri'za nehuno ana mofavre agi'a Ben-oni'e nasunku mofavre huno ante'ne. Hianagi Jekopu'a Benzameni'e nazantamaga mofavre huno agi'a ante'ne.
And it cometh to pass in the going out of her soul (for she died), that she calleth his name Ben-Oni; and his father called him Benjamin;
19 Resoli'a frige'za Efrata vu kamofo ankenare asente'naze, (mago agi'a Betlehemue.)
and Rachel dieth, and is buried in the way to Ephratha, which [is] Bethlehem,
20 Jekopu'a ra have erino vuno Resolima asente'nea kerimofo agofetu ome retru re'ne, menina Resoli kerire retru re'nea havea amne me'ne.
and Jacob setteth up a standing pillar over her grave; which [is] the standing pillar of Rachel's grave unto this day.
21 Hagi anantetira Israeli'a (Jekopu'a) viazamo mani'ne'za afu kva nehaza noma Ederi kumate'ma me'neana agatereteno vuno ogantu'a seli nonku'mara omegino mani'ne.
And Israel journeyeth, and stretcheth out his tent beyond the tower of Edar;
22 Anampi umani'nageno Israelina (Jekopu'na) agonesa ne'amo Rubeni'a, nefana mago a'a, nenaro eri'za erinente'a a' Bilhama anteno mase'nea kea Israeli'a antahi'ne.
and it cometh to pass in Israel's dwelling in that land, that Reuben goeth, and lieth with Bilhah his father's concubine; and Israel heareth.
23 Hagi ama'i Jekopuna 12fu'a ne' mofavre'amofo zamagi'e. Lia'ma kasezmante'nea ne'mofavrea Rubeni'a Jekopuna zage'e, anantera Simioni'e, Levi'e, Juda'e, Isaka'e, Zebuluni'e.
And the sons of Jacob are twelve. Sons of Leah: Jacob's first-born Reuben, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun.

Sons of Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin.

And sons of Bilhah, Rachel's maid-servant: Dan and Naphtali.
26 Hagi Lia eri'za a'mo Zilpama kase zanante'nea ne'mofavrea Gati'ene Aselikie. Ana hu'neankino Jekopu'a Padan-Aram mani'neno zamazeri fore hu'ne.
And sons of Zilpah, Leah's maid-servant: Gad and Asher. These [are] sons of Jacob, who have been born to him in Padan-Aram.
27 Jekopu'a nefa hirega Mamre Kiriat-arba e'ne, e'i mago agi'e Hebronie, ana kumara nefa Abrahamu'ene Aisakike zoka umanina'a kumare.
And Jacob cometh unto Isaac his father, at Mamre, the city of Arba (which [is] Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac have sojourned.
28 Aisaki'a 180'a Zagegafu mani'ne.
And the days of Isaac are a hundred and eighty years,
29 Aisaki'a za'za kna maniteno ozafa reteno renteramino, vagare asimu anteteno frino agehe'zane agigomo'zama umani'nazarega vu'ne. Jekopuke, Isoke eri'ne ome asente'na'e.
and Isaac expireth, and dieth, and is gathered unto his people, aged and satisfied with days; and bury him do Esau and Jacob his sons.
