All the congregation of the children of Israel [God prevails] traveled from the wilderness of Cin [Clay], by their journeys, according to Adonai’s order, and encamped in Rephidim; but there was no water for the people to drink.
2 E'ina hige'za Israeli vahe'mo'za Mosesena ke hara hunte'za, anage hu'naze. Tina tamigeta namneno, hazageno Mosese'a anage huno zamasami'ne, nahigeta nagrira ke hara hunentaze? Nahigeta Ra Anumzamofona rehetma negaze?
Therefore the people quarreled with Moses [Drawn out], and said, “Give us water to drink.” Moses [Drawn out] said to them, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you test Adonai?”

The people were thirsty for water there; and the people murmured against Moses [Drawn out], and said, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to kill us, our children, and our livestock with thirst?”

Moses [Drawn out] cried to Adonai, saying, “What shall I do with these people? They are almost ready to stone me.”

Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb [Desert]. You shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” Moses [Drawn out] did so in the sight of the elders of Israel [God prevails].
7 Ana kumakura Mosese'a Masae nehuno, Meribae hu'ne, na'ankure Israeli vahe'mo'zama haframa nehu'za, Ra Anumzamofona rehe'za nege'za, Ra Anumzamo'a tagri amu'nompina mani'nefi omani'ne?
He called the name of the place Massah [Testing], and Meribah [Quarreling], because the children of Israel [God prevails] quarreled, and because they tested Adonai, saying, “Is Adonai among us, or not?”
8 Anantera Ameleki vahe'mo'za e'za, Israeli vahera Refitimie nehzafi hara huzmante'naze.
Then Amalek [Man who licks up] came and fought with Israel [God prevails] in Rephidim.
9 Ana hazageno Mosese'a anage huno Josuana asmi'ne, Mago'a vahera tagripintira huhamprizmantege'za Ameleki vahe'enena hara ome hiho. Okina nagra Anumzamofo azompa nzampi eri'ne'na agonarera otigahue.
Moses [Drawn out] said to Joshua [Yah Salvation], “Choose men for us, and go out, fight with Amalek [Man who licks up]. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with God’s rod in my hand.”
10 Mosese'ma asamia kante anteno, Josua'a Amaleki vahe'enena hara nehige'za, Mosese'ma, Aroni'ma, Huri'ma hu'za agonarega mreri'naze.
So Joshua [Yah Salvation] did as Moses [Drawn out] had told him, and fought with Amalek [Man who licks up]; and Moses [Drawn out], Aaron [Light-bringer], and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
11 Hagi Mosese'ma azama erintesga hige'za, Israeli vahe'mo'za hara Amaleki vahera huzmangatere'naze. Hagi Mosese'ma aza'ma erinte fenka atrege'za, Ameleki vahe'mo'za Israeli vahera hara huzmagetere'naze.
When Moses [Drawn out] held up his hand, Israel [God prevails] prevailed. When he let down his hand, Amalek [Man who licks up] prevailed.
12 Hianagi Mosese azamo'a arageramigeno, Aroni'ene Hurikea have erike, mopafi ante'nakeno anante mani'nege'ne, rugaraga mani'neke azana erisga hu'nakeno kinagaseno zagea urami'ne,
But Moses [Drawn out]’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat on it. Aaron [Light-bringer] and Hur held up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side. His hands were steady until sunset.
13 Josua'ene Israeli vahe'mo'za bainati kazinu Ameleki vahera zmahege'za kazimofo ne'za se'naze.
Joshua [Yah Salvation] defeated Amalek [Man who licks up] and his people with the edge of the sword.
14 Anantera Ra Anumzamo'a anage huno Mosesena asami'ne, Ama ha'mofo agenke'a avontafepi kretenegeno avame'za me'nenke'za nege'za zmagera okaniho. Hagi Josuana hamprinka ama ana nanekea asamio, Nagra ama mopafintira Ameleki vahera zamahe fanane hanugeno zmagi zmagenkea ama mopafina omanegahie.
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua [Yah Salvation]: that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek [Man who licks up] from under the sky.”
15 Mosese'a anante Kresramanavu ita tro huno, Ra Anumzamo'a nagri krauvefani'e (frekie) huno agia antemi'ne.
Moses [Drawn out] built an altar, and called its name Adonai our Banner.
16 Mosese'a anage hu'ne, Ra Anumzamofo hanave eritre'za hazankino, Amaleki vahera henkama fore hunante anante hu'za esaza vahera, Ra Anumzamo'a huvempa hu'neankino ha' huzmantegahue hu'ne.
He said, “Yah has sworn: ‘Adonai will have war with Amalek [Man who licks up] from generation to generation.’”
