1 Hagi Israeli vahe'motma tamagra Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamofo mofavre mani'nazagu, fri'nesia vahetera tamasunkura hutma tamavufgane tamasenireti tinke tamazoka'enena taga osiho.
You are the children of the Lord your God: you are not to make cuts on your bodies or take off the hair on your brows in honour of the dead;
2 Na'ankure Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamo'a ama mopafi vahepintira tamazeri ruotge huno, Agri vahe manisaze huno higeta maka ama mopafima mani'naza vahepintira tamagra Agri ruotge vahe mani'naze.
For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has taken you to be his special people out of all the nations on the face of the earth.
3 Kefoza huno agruma osu'nesia zagagafa oneho.
No disgusting thing may be your food.
4 Hagi ama'na zagagafa negahaze, bulimakaoma, sipisipima, memema,
These are the beasts which you may have for food: the ox, the sheep, and the goat;
5 diama, gazelima, robakie nehaza diama, afi' memema, ibeksie nehaza afu'ene diagna afuku antiropue nehaza afu'ene agonafima nemania sipisipi afu'enena amne negahaze.
The hart, the gazelle, and the roe, the mountain goat and the pygarg and the antelope and the mountain sheep.
6 Hagi agigomo'ma tarefima hatna hu'nesigeno, ne'zama azanku'afinti'ma revrino nenesia zagagafane, amne negahaze.
Any beast which has a division in the horn of its foot and whose food comes back into its mouth to be crushed again, may be used for food.
7 Hianagi agigomo tarefi hatna hu'nesigeno azanku'afinti revrino'ma nonesia zaga, ete azanku'afinti revrino nenesia zagama agigomo hatna osu'nesiana onetfa hiho. Hagi kemorine, rebitine, havefima nemania varenena onetfa hiho. Na'ankure zamagra azanku'zmia huzamante nege'za revriza nenazanagi, tarefina zamagigomo'za hatnara osu'neanki'za agrua osu'naze.
But even among these, there are some which may not be used for food: such as the camel, the hare, and the coney, which are unclean to you, because, though their food comes back, the horn of their feet is not parted in two.
8 Hagi afura magore hutma oneho, na'ankure zamagigomo'a tarefi atne'neanagi, azanku'a huonte'neankino agrua osu'ne. Avufga'a onetfa nehutma, fri'nesia afu'mofo avufgarera avakora osiho!
And the pig is unclean to you, because though it has a division in the horn of its foot, its food does not come back; their flesh may not be used for food or their dead bodies touched by you.
9 Hagi timpima nemanisia zagaramimpintira, iri'ama meno, agekona'ama me'nesia zagaramina amne negahaze.
And of the things living in the waters, you may take all those who have wings for swimming with and skins formed of thin plates.
10 Hianagi iri'ane ageko'nanema omne'nesia zagaramina agru osu'neanki, onetfa hiho.
But any which have no skin-plates or wings for swimming, you may not take; they are unclean for you.
11 Agruma hu'nea namaramina amne negahaze.
All clean birds may be used for food.
12 Hianagi agru osu namaramima onesazana, kazintumpaki, frizagama nenea tumpanki, osa tumpanki,
But these birds you may not take: the eagle and the gier-eagle and the ospray;
13 kenage'ma hare'za vanoma nehaza maka namaraminki,
The falcon and the kite, and birds of that sort;
14 haninke namaramima ra zamageru'ma neraza nama zagagi,
Every raven, and all birds of that sort;
15 mananinkna za'za arenane nama zagagi, rankrafama nehia komutonki, hagerinkenafi nemaniza efeke namazagagi, hagerinkena tumpanki,
And the ostrich and the night-hawk and the sea-hawk and birds of that sort;
16 neonse'ene ranra komutone, efeke maniravene,
The little owl and the great owl and the water-hen;
17 hagerimpinti'ma nozamema aheno nenea ra agi'ene nama zagagi, hagerimpi hareno vano nehia tumpaki, hagerimpi ruga'a tumparaminki,
And the pelican and the vulture and the cormorant;
18 za'za agia hunte namane, afi patone, tamprataminena oneho.
The stork and the heron and birds of that sort, and the hoopoe and the bat.
19 Hagi zamageko'na me'nesia neonse zagaramina zamasaguregati'ma regrarohe'za vanoma nehaza zaga maka oneho.
Every winged thing which goes flat on the earth is unclean to you and may not be used as food.
20 Hianagi agruma hu'nesia namaramina maka amne negahaze.
But all clean birds you may take.
21 Hagi agra'ama fri'nesia zagaramina oneho. Hianagi tamagranema emani vahera amne zamige, ru vahetera zagorera zamige hugahaze. Na'ankure tamagra Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamofo ruotge vahe'a mani'naze. Hagi meme anentara nerera amirimpina onkregahaze.
You may not have as food anything which has come to a natural death; the man from another country who is living with you may take it for food, or you may get a price for it from one of another nation; for you are a holy people to the Lord your God. The young goat is not to be cooked in its mother's milk.
22 Mika kafune kafunema hozatamifinti'ma hamare'naza ne'zana, 10ni'a kevufintira refko hutma mago kevua Anumzamofo amigahaze.
Put on one side a tenth of all the increase of your seed, produced year by year.
23 Hagi anama refkoma hanaza kevua, Anumzamo'ma mono hunantegahazema huno hu'ne'nia kumateke eritma egahaze. E'ina kevuma erita esaza witima, wainima, olivi masavema ese'ma kasentesia bulimakaone, sipisipi anenta'ene, avretma eta Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamofo avuga Agrama huhamprinte'nea kumapi, ana ne'zana neneta koro'ma hunteno agorga'ama hakaregnama manizana rempi hugahaze.
And make a feast before the Lord your God, in the place which is to be marked out, where his name will be for ever, of the tenth part of your grain and your wine and your oil, and the first births of your herds and your flocks; so that you may have the fear of the Lord your God in your hearts at all times.
24 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'ma mono hunanteho huno hunte'ne'nia kuma'ma afete'ma me'nena, Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamo'ma asomu huramante'nigeno, 10ni'a kevuma hanifinti'ma mago kevuma refakoma hanaza zamo'ma rama'a hina erita vuga'ma osanutma,
And if the way is so long that you are not able to take these things to the place marked out by the Lord your God for his name, when he has given you his blessing, because it is far away from you;
25 ana zantamina zagore atrenkeno mizasesagetma, ana zagoa eritma Ra Anumzamo'ma mono hunanteho huno'ma hu'ne'nia kumate vugahaze.
Then let these things be exchanged for money, and, taking the money in your hand, go to the place marked out by the Lord your God for himself;
26 Hagi mono hunanteho huno'ma hu'ne'nia kumate'ma ana zagoma eritma uhanati'nutma, ana kumapima zagore'ma atre'nesaza bulimakaono, sipisipi afuro, wainio, akatinena tamagra tamavesite mizasetma maka nagataminena Ra Anumzamofo avuga kreta neneta musena hugahaze.
And with the money get whatever you have a desire for, oxen or sheep or wine or strong drink, whatever your soul's desire may be: and make a feast there before the Lord your God, and be glad, you and all your house;
27 Anama nehanutma tamagranema mani'naza Livae nagara mopazimia omneno nozamine mago'a zazmia omne'negu, tamagera akani ozmanteho.
And give a thought to the Levite who is living among you, for he has no part or heritage in the land.
28 Hagi maka namba 3 kafumofo atumparega ana kafufima 10ni'a kevuma eritruma hanaza zana maka eritma eta tavaontamire'ma me'nenia rankumate emeritru hugahaze.
At the end of every three years take a tenth part of all your increase for that year, and put it in store inside your walls:
29 Hagi Livae naga'ra mopazmi omne nagaki, kraga vahe'tmima tamagranema nemanisaza vaheki, megusa mofavreraminki, kento a'nema kumatamifima nemanisamo'za emeri atru hu'za ana ne'zana nezamamu hanageno, Ra Anumzana tamagri Anumzamo'a maka eri'zama erisaza zana asomu huramantegahie.
And the Levite, because he has no part or heritage in the land, and the man from a strange country, and the child who has no father, and the widow, who are living among you, will come and take food and have enough; and so the blessing of the Lord your God will be on you in everything you do.
