< Aposolo 24 >
1 Hagi 5 fu'agna evigeno ugagota pristi ne' Ananaisi'a, mono kva (elda) vahe'ene, mago aza huno kemahu nera (loya) Tetulusi nevareno, Polina Gavana ne' avufima kema hunte kea anakite'za e'naze.
Now after five days the high priest Ananias went down with the elders and a certain orator, Tertullus, and they informed the governor against Paul.
2 Polima kema higeno egeno'a, Tetilusi'a agafa huno Gavana nete ke ha' Polina renteno anage hu'ne, Tagra knare'za huta kagrama kavama krirantanketa tarimpa fru huta nemanita, hanki ama kumapima kahefa'zama efare'neana kagrama antahinka kenka retro'ma hanazante efare'ne.
So when he had been called in, Tertullus began his accusation, saying: “Seeing that by you we enjoy much peace, and your foresight has brought prosperity to this nation,
3 Feliksiga knare hu'nane. Mika kazigane, mika zama hanazankura tagra kageta antahita nehuta tusi'a muse hunegantone.
we recognize this, most noble Felix, with full gratitude, always and everywhere.
4 Hu'neanagi kagrira mago'ene knaka'a kazeorigahuanki'na anage hu'na negasamue, muse hugantonanki osia kema hanuana kagrama nehana kante antenka ketia antahiramio.
But so as not to detain you unduly, I would request that you be kind enough to hear us briefly.
5 Tagrama keta eri fore hunana ama'na nera hazanke nere, rama'a vahe zamazeri agrarega anteno, maka kokantega Jiu vahera keha renezmanteno, Nazarenie nehaza mono naga'mokizmi kva mani'ne.
We have found this man to be a plague, a creator of discord among all the Jews throughout the world, a ringleader of the Natsorean sect,
6 Anama hu'neno'a, agra ra mono nontia eri haviza nehigeta azeri none.
and he even tried to profane the temple; so we arrested him.
8 Kagrama antahigenka kesunka maka zanku'ma humanentona zana kagraka'a antahigahane.
By examining him yourself you may ascertain all these things of which we accuse him.”
9 Jiu vahe'mo'zanena Tetulusi kere hagerafi'za, ama'na kema nehiana tamage hu'za hunte'naze.
And the Jews also joined in the attack, affirming that these things were so.
10 Gavana ne'mo Poli ke hinogu revumi humigeno, Poli'a anage hu'ne, Na'ankure nagra antahi'noe, kagra ama mopafina kema refakohu zantera rama'a kafufi mani'nanku, nagra korera osu'na nazama hania kea hugahue.
When the governor had nodded to him to speak, Paul answered: “Knowing, as I do, that you have been an equitable judge of this nation for many years, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself,
11 Kagraka'a ana kea eriama hunka antahi ankeregahane, 12fu'a kna'nazana agatereno eovu'nege'na Jerusalemi mono hu'naku mareri'noe.
because you can ascertain that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem to worship.
12 Zamagrama naga'zana, nagra mago vahe'enena fra ovazi'na, ra mono nompintira keaga hu'na, rama'a vahe kevua zamazeri savari hu'na nagrarega zamare'ozmante'na, osi mono nonpintiro rankumapinti'enena zamavare nagrarega ontoge'za onke'naze.
They did not find me disputing with anyone or stirring up a crowd—not in the temple, not in the synagogues, not around the city.
13 Hankinka zamagrama kema hunantenaku'ma nehazankea agafa'a kagritera eri forera osugahaze.
Nor can they prove the things of which they now accuse me.
14 Hu'neanagi nagra huama hu'na tamagema kasamisuana, tagigomofo Anumzante monora hunte'noe, Jisasi'ma hu'nea Kama, (sektie hu'zama nehazare) maka Mosesi Kasegemo'ma hu'neazante namentinti nehu'na, kasnampa vahe'mo'zama kre'naza kante avaririnoe.
But I do profess this to you, that according to the Way that they call a sect, that is how I worship the ancestral God, believing all things that stand written throughout the Law and the Prophets,
15 Nagra Anumzamofonte namentinti hu'noe, zamagrama zamentinti hu'naza kna hu'noankino, fatgo vahe'ene, havi vahe'mo'za frite'za otigahaze hu'na namentinti nehue.
having hope in God, which these themselves also look for, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both the just and unjust.
16 Ama'na ke agafare, nagra maragu'zatina Anumzamofo avure'ene, vahe'mokizmi zamurera mani fatgo nehue.
And this is why I apply myself to always have a clear conscience before both God and men.
17 Mago'a zagegafu evutege'na, zamunte omane vahe'nia, museza (gift) nezami'na, Anumzamofonte ofa antenaku Jerusalea vu'noe.
Now after many years I came to bring alms and offerings to my nation,
18 Anama nehuge'za ra mono nompi nage'za eri fore nehu'za, nazeri agruma Anumzamofonte hu'noa zankura, vahe kevumo'zo mago'a rankea huonante'naze.
in the midst of which certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, with neither crowd nor confusion.
19 Hu'neanagi mago'a Esia provinsifinti Jiu vahera, amare menina kagri kavure mani'ne'za, nagrima hunante keaga me'neresina hunantasine.
They are the ones that had to be here before you and make accusation, if they had anything against me.
20 Anama osanu'za ama vahe'mo'za, nankna hazenke hu'nofi agafa'a hugahaze. Kanisol vahe zamure'ma oti'ne'na hu'noa kea hufore hugahaze.
Or let these themselves say what wrong they found in me, when I stood before the council,
21 Hagi mago'zana kea ranke hu'na kanisol vahe zamure'ma oti'nena hu'noe. Menina keagama hunenantazana fripinti otigahaze hu'na huazante hunenantaze.
unless it be for this one statement that I called out, standing among them, ‘Concerning the resurrection of the dead I am being judged by you today.’”
Upon hearing these things Felix, having an accurate knowledge of the things concerning the Way, adjourned the proceedings and said, “When Lysias the commander comes down I will decide your case.”
23 hagi 100'a sondia vahete kva (sensulien) ne'ku Polina kegava krinto hu'ne. Hianagi atregeno fru huno nemanina naga'amo'zama nazano atupa'ma haniazama eme aminaku hanigeta, i'o huozmanteho hu'ne.
And he ordered the centurion that Paul should be kept in custody but have some freedom, and not to forbid any of his friends to provide for or to visit him.
24 Mago'agna evigeno, Feliksi'ene nenaro Drusilake e'na'e, ana ara Jiu a're. Feliksi'a huzmantege'za Polina ome kehazageno eno, Jisas Kraisinte'ma amentinti hu'nea kea eme zanasmi'ne.
Now after some days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was a Jewess, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith into Christ Jesus.
But as he expounded on righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix became afraid and answered, “Go away for now; when I have occasion I will summon you.”
26 Ana'ma nehuno'a agesama antahi'ana Poli'a zago namigahie nehuno, ama ana agafare mago'agna Polina ke higeno etere huno agranena keaga hu'ne.
At the same time he was also hoping that Paul would give him money, that he might release him; so he frequently summoned and conversed with him.
27 Tare zagegafu agateregeno'a Porsius Festusi'a, Gavana eri'zana Feliksi no erino eri'ne, na'ankure Feliksi'a Jiu vahe zamazeri muse hu'naku Polina atregeno kina nompi mani'ne.
But after two years, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus; so Felix, wanting to do the Jews a favor, left Paul in prison.
