1 Ana'ma hutegeno mago zupa Deviti'a Filistia vahe'mokizmi hara huzamagatereno kegava hunezamanteno, ugotama hu'nea Meteke-ama rankuma'zminena erino kegava huzmante'ne.
And it came about after this that David made an attack on the Philistines and overcame them; and David took the authority of the mother-town from the hands of the Philistines.
2 Hagi Deviti'a Moapu vahe'enena ha' huzamanteno ha'ma huzamagatenereno, ana vahera mopafi maseho hige'za masempi hu'za vazageno, nofiteti avazuhuno mesarimi huno ke'ne. And he overcame the Moabites, and he had them measured with a line when they were stretched out on the earth; marking out two lines for death and one full line for life. So the Moabites became servants to David and gave him offerings.
3 Hagi Zoba kini ne' Rehobu nemofo Hadadezeri'ma sondia vahe'anema Yufretis tintega vuno mopa'a ome hahuno eri'naku nevigeno, Deviti'a hara hunteno hara hugatere'ne.
And David overcame Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, when he went to make his power seen by the River.
4 Hagi Deviti'a 1tausen 700'a hosifima vanoma nehaza sondia vahetaminki, 20 tauseni'a mopafima vanoma nehu'za ha'ma nehaza sondia vahe zamaheno nezmavreno, maka hosi afutamina zamagigruna taga nehuno 100'a karisima avazu huno vuga hosi afutaminke zamatre'ne.
And David took from him one thousand, seven hundred horsemen and twenty thousand footmen: and David had the leg-muscles of the horses cut, only keeping enough of them for a hundred war-carriages.
5 Hagi ana knafina Damaskasi kumateti Aramu sondia vahe'mo'za vu'za, Joba kini ne' Hadadezeri ome aza hu'za hara nehazageno, Deviti'a ana ne'mofo sondia vahera 22 tauseni'a vahe zamahe'ne.
And when the Aramaeans of Damascus came to the help of Hadadezer, king of Zobah, David put to the sword twenty-two thousand of the Aramaeans.
6 Hagi Deviti'a sondia vahe'aramimofo kumatamina Aramu vahe'mofo mopafi Damasakasi kumapi retro huno zamantege'za mani'neza kegava hu'nazage'za, Aramu vahe'mo'za Deviti agorga mani'ne'za takesi zagoa ami'naze. Ana nehazageno Ra Anumzamo'a Deviti'ma vuno eno'ma huno'ma ha'ma hirega, hanave amigeno hara huzmagatere'ne.
And David put armed forces in Aram of Damascus: and the Aramaeans became servants to David and gave him offerings. And the Lord made David overcome wherever he went.
7 Hagi Hadadezeri sondia vahe'mo'za golireti'ma tro'ma hu'naza hankoramina Devitia erino Jerusalemi vu'ne.
And David took their gold body-covers from the servants of Hadadezer and took them to Jerusalem.
8 Hagi Hadadezeri'ma kegava hu'nea tare rankumara Beta kuma'ene Berotai kumapintira Deviti'a rama'a bronsi eri'ne.
And from Tebah and Berothai, towns of Hadadezer, King David took a great store of brass.
9 Hagi Hamati kumate kini ne' Toi'ma antahiama Deviti'a Hadadezeri sondia vahe hara huzmagatere'ne hazanke nentahino'a,
And when Tou, king of Hamath, had news that David had overcome all the army of Hadadezer,
10 Toi'a nemofo Joramuna huntegeno Deviti ome musenke hunte'naku vu'ne. Hagi Toi'ene Hadadezeri'enena zanagra za'zate hara hu'na'a netre'ne. Hagi Joramu'a musezana silvane, goline bronsinena erineno Devitina aminaku vu'ne.
He sent his son Hadoram to David, with words of peace and blessing, because he had overcome Hadadezer in the fight, for Hadadezer had wars with Tou; and Hadoram took with him vessels of silver and gold and brass:
11 Hagi kini ne' Deviti'a miko ha' vahe'amokizmi ha' huzmanteno eri'nea zantamimpinti ko'ma hu'neaza huno, ana musezantamina Ra Anumzamofo zane huno erinte otage huno Ra Anumzamofo ami'ne.
These King David made holy to the Lord, together with the silver and gold which he had taken from the nations he had overcome —
12 Hagi ana zantamima Ra Anumzamofoma eri otage huno ami'neana, Idomu vahe zanki, Moapu vahe zanki, Amoni vahe zanki, Filistia vahe zanki Ameleki vahe zanki huno eri'ne. Hagi Rehopu nemofo Soba kini ne' Hadadezeri zantaminema eri'nea zanena Ra Anumzamofo eri otage huno ami'ne.
The nations of Edom and Moab, and the children of Ammon and the Philistines and the Amalekites and the goods he had taken from Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah.
13 Hagi Deviti'a Hage nehaza agupofima 18tauseni'a Idomu sondia vahe'ma ome zamaheteno ege'za, ra agi amizageno agimo'a mareri'ne.
And David got great honour for himself, when he came back, by the destruction of Edom in the valley of Salt, to the number of eighteen thousand men.
14 Hagi Deviti sondia vahe'mo'za manisaza kumatamina Idomu mopafi tro huno zamantege'za umani emani hu'ne'za kegava hazage'za, Idomu vahe'mo'za Deviti agoraga mani'naze. Hagi inantego Devitima vunoma ha'ma ome hirega, Ra Anumzamo'a aza huno hanave amigeno hara agatere'ne.
And he put armed forces in Edom; all through Edom he had armed forces stationed, and all the Edomites became servants to David. And the Lord made David overcome wherever he went.
15 Ana huteno Deviti'a fatgo avu'ava huno Israeli vahera knare'za huno kegava huzamante'ne.
And David was king over all Israel, judging and giving right decisions for all his people.
16 Hagi Seruai nemofo Joapu'a Sondia vahe kva mani'geno, Ahiluti nemofo Jehosafati'a maka'zama nehazazamofo avonkreno eri fatgo hu eri'za vahe mani'ne.
And Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was chief of the army; and Jehoshaphat, the son of Ahilud, was keeper of the records;
17 Hagi Ahitubu nemofo Zadoki'ene, Ahimeleki nemofo Abiatakea pristi netre manikeno, kini ne'mo'ma hiazantamima avonkreno eri fatgo hu eri'za nera Seraia'a mani'ne.
And Zadok and Abiathar, the son of Ahimelech, the son of Ahitub, were priests; and Seraiah was the scribe;
18 Hagi Jehoiada nemofo Benaia'a kini ne'mofo avate kva nera mani'ne. Hagi Deviti ne'mofavremo'za pristi eri'za vahete kegava huzmante'naze.
And Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada, was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David's sons were priests.
