< 2 Samue 17 >
1 Hagi henka Ahitofeli'a Absalomuna asamino, natrege'na 12tauseni'a sondia vahe zamavare'na meni kenagera vu'na Devitinku ome hakena hara huntaneno.
And Ahithophel said to Absalom, “Please let me choose twelve thousand men, and I arise and pursue after David tonight,
2 Hagi agra menina kasaro kasara huno ana'ana huno nevanige'na ome azerigahue. Hagi nagra antri hanazaza hu'na va'nena, mika vahe'mo'za atre'za fresage'na kini ne'ke ahegahue.
and come on him, and he [will be] weary and feeble-handed, and I have caused him to tremble, and all the people who [are] with him have fled, and I have struck the king by himself,
3 Hagi menina nagra maka vahera zamavarena kagrite egahue. Hagi zamagra zahufa a'mo neve atreno frenereti ete eankna hu'na, ana miko vahera ozamahe zamavare'na kagrite egahue. Hagi Devitinke ahesankeno frinigenka kagra krimpa fru hunka manigahane.
and I bring back all the people to you—as the turning back of the whole [except] the man whom you are seeking—[then] all the people are [at] peace.”
4 Hige'za Absalomu'ene mika Israeli kva vahe'mo'zama ana nanekema antahi'zana knare hu'ne.
And the word is right in the eyes of Absalom, and in the eyes of all [the] elderly of Israel.
5 Hagi Absalomu'a huno, Akai nagapinti ne' Husaina kehinkeno agranena antahi'zama'a eme huama hina antahimaneno.
And Absalom says, “Now call for Hushai the Archite also, and we hear what [is] in his mouth—even he.”
6 Hagi Husai'a Absalomunte egeno Absalomu'a asamino, Ahitofeli'a ama naneke tasami'neanki agrama tasamia naneke amagera antegahumpi? Hagi i'oma hanunka antahintahi ka'a kagra hu ama huo.
And Hushai comes to Absalom, and Absalom speaks to him, saying, “According to this word Ahithophel has spoken; do we do his word? If not, you—speak.”
7 Hagi Husai'a kenona huno, Menima Ahitofeli'ma tamia antahi'zamo'a knarera osie.
And Hushai says to Absalom, “The counsel that Ahithophel has counseled [is] not good at this time.”
8 Hagi kagra antahi'nane, negafa'ene sondia vahe'amo'za hanavenentake vahe mani'nazageno zamarimpama ahe'zamo'a Beamofo anenta'ama vahe'mo'za nevrazageno arimpa aheankna vahe mani'naze. Hagi negafa'a harafa vahekino, kenagera sondia vahe'anena omasegahie.
And Hushai says, “You have known your father and his men, that they [are] heroes, and they are bitter in soul as a bereaved bear in a field, and your father [is] a man of war, and does not lodge with the people;
9 Hagi agra ko mago'a kumatego, have kampino frakino mani'ne. Hagi agrama kagri sondia vahe'ma ese'zana ha'ma huzmantesniana rama'a vahe zamahe frigahiankino, vahe'mo'zama anankema antahisnu'za Absalomu nevaririza sondia vahera zamahe fri vagaraze hu'za hugahaze.
behold, now, he is hidden in one of the pits, or in one of the places, and it has been at the falling among them at the commencement, that the hearer has heard and said, There has been a slaughter among the people who [are] after Absalom;
10 Hagi mago'a laionigana hu'za koro osu sondia vahe'kamo'za anankema antahisnu'za koro hugahaze. Na'ankure mika Israeli vahe'mo'za antahi'naze, negafa'a tusi hihamu ne' mani'nege'za, agranema mani'naza sondia vahe'mo'za hanavenentake vahe mani'naze.
and he also, the son of valor, whose heart [is] as the heart of the lion, utterly melts, for all Israel knows that your father is a hero, and those with him [are] sons of valor.
11 E'ina hu'negu noti kaziga Dani kumateti vuno sauti kaziga Bersebama uhanati'nea vahe'ma mani'naza Israeli sondia vahera, kagra mika zamavarenka Devitima ha'ma huntenakura eritru hugeno hagerinkenafi kasepakna hanigenka, zamavarenka hara ome hunto.
So that I have counseled: let all Israel be diligently gathered to you, from Dan even to Beer-Sheba, as the sand that [is] by the sea for multitude, and you yourself are going in the midst;
12 Hagi inantego Devitima ome keta erifore'ma hanuta, ata komo eramino mikaza refiteaza huta, Devitine mika sondia vahe'anena zamahe fri vaga regahune.
and we have come to him in one of the places where he is found, and we [are] on him as the dew falls on the ground, and there has not been left of him and of all the men who [are] with him even one.
13 Hagi agrama mago kumapima ufrenketa ana kumofo vihu keginare nofi renteta avazu huta agupofi ome atregahune. Ana nehanunkeno ana kuma'mo fanane huvagaregahie.
And if he is gathered to a city, then they have caused all Israel to carry ropes to that city, and we have drawn it to the brook until there has not even been found a stone there.”
14 Anante Absalomu'ene mika Israeli vahe'mo'za hu'za, Arkiti ne' Husaia tamia antahizamo'a knare huno Ahitofelima tamia antahi'zana agatere. Na'ankure ana hanigeno Ra Anumzamo'a Absalomuna azeri haviza hunaku ana antahi'zana zamige'za Ahitofeli antahi'zana eri atre'naze.
And Absalom says—and all the men of Israel, “The counsel of Hushai the Archite [is] better than the counsel of Ahithophel”; and YHWH willed to make void the good counsel of Ahithophel for the sake of YHWH’s bringing the calamity to Absalom.
15 Hagi ana huteno Husai'a Zadokune pristi ne' Abiatakizania amanage huno zamasami'ne, Ahitofeli'a Absalomune Israeli kva vahe'tamina antahintahi zamige'na nagra amanahu antahi'za zami'noe.
And Hushai says to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, “Thus and thus Ahithophel has counseled Absalom and the elderly of Israel, and thus and thus I have counseled;
16 Hagi menina ame hutna Devitina ke atrentekeno, tima takahe'za kantu kazigama nevarera uomaseno, ru agri'ene agranema maka vu'naza vahetamina eme zamahesagi ame hu'za freza hagege kokampi viho.
and now, send quickly, and declare [it] to David, saying, Do not lodge in the plains of the wilderness tonight, and also, certainly pass over, lest there is a swallowing up of the king and of all the people who are with him.”
17 Hagi Jonatani'ene Ahimasikea Jerusalemi vahe'mo'za zanage'zanku frakike Enrogeli mani'nakeno eri'za mofamo kea erino Devitima ome asaminogura ome zanasami'ne.
And Jonathan and Ahimaaz are standing at En-Rogel, and the maidservant has gone and declared [it] to them—and they go and have declared [it] to King David—for they are not able to be seen to go into the city.
18 Hianagi mago nehaza ne'mo ana netrena zanageteno Absalomuna ome asami'ne. Ana higeno ana netremokea ame huke freke Bahurimi kumate mago ne'mofo kumapi me'nea ti kerigampi uramine ome fraki'na'e.
And a youth sees them, and declares [it] to Absalom; and both of them go on quickly, and come to the house of a man in Bahurim, and he has a well in his court, and they go down there,
19 Hagi ana ne'mofo nenaro'a tavrave rutareno anama mani'na'a kerirera refi'neteno ana agofetu witi kanara huno zanazeri frakizanante'ne.
and the woman takes and spreads the covering over the face of the well, and spreads the ground grain on it, and the thing has not been known.
20 Hagi Absalomu eri'za vahe'mo'za ana a'ma kuma'afi mani'nege'za eme antahige'za, Ahimasi'ene Jonatanikea iga mani'na'e? Hazageno ana a'mo'a kenona huno, zanagra tina takahene hago vu'na'e. Hagi Absalomu eri'za vahe'mo'za ome hakazana ozamage'za ete atre'za Jerusalemi vu'naze.
And the servants of Absalom come to the woman at the house, and say, “Where [are] Ahimaaz and Jonathan?” And the woman says to them, “They passed over the brook of water”; and they seek, and have not found, and return to Jerusalem.
21 Hagi ana vahe'ma vutageke anama framaki'napinkati atiramine Deviti ome asaminaku vu'na'e. Hagi Devitina ome asamine, kagra menina amafintira atrenka tina takahenka ko vuo. Na'ankure kagri'ma eme kazerisania kea Ahitofeli'a Absalomuna retro huno asami'ne.
And it comes to pass, after their going on, that they come up out of the well, and go and declare [it] to King David, and say to David, “Rise, and pass over the waters quickly, for thus has Ahithophel counseled against you.”
22 Hagi Deviti'ene agranema vu'naza vahe'mo'za maka ana kenageke Jodani tina takahe'za kantu kaziga vu'naze. Hagi ko'ma atiana mago vahera timofo kama kaziga omani'naze.
And David rises, and all the people who [are] with him, and they pass over the Jordan, until the morning light, until not one has been lacking who has not passed over the Jordan.
23 Hagi Ahitofeli'ma keno antahino'ma hiama Absalomu'ma ke'ama ontahigeno'a, donkiafi marerino kuma arega vuno, mika'zama omerintese nehuno, agra kana aheno frige'za naga'ama asenentaza matipi ome asente'naze.
And Ahithophel has seen that his counsel was not done, and he saddles the donkey, and rises and goes to his house, to his city, and gives charge to his household, and strangles himself, and dies, and he is buried in the burying-place of his father.
24 Hagi Deviti'a Mahanaimi vigeno, Absalomu'a mika Israeli sondia vahera zamavareno Jodani tina eme takahe'ne.
And David came to Mahanaim, and Absalom passed over the Jordan, he and all the men of Israel with him;
25 Hagi Absalomu'a Joapu noma erino sondia vahe'ma kvama hania nera Amasa huhamprinte'ne. Hagi Amasa'a Jeta nemofokino Israeli nagapinti ne'mo Nahasi mofa Abigeli ara eri'ne. Hagi Abigelina nuna'amo Seru Joapu'na kasente'ne.
and Absalom has set Amasa over the host instead of Joab, and Amasa [is] a man’s son whose name is Ithra the Israeli who has gone in to Abigail, daughter of Nahash, sister of Zeruiah, mother of Joab;
26 Hagi Giliati mopafi Israeli sondia vahe'ene Absalomu'enena seli nonku'ma eme ki'za mani'naze.
and Israel encamps with Absalom [in] the land of Gilead.
27 Hagi Deviti'ma Mahanaimima ehanatigeno'a, Nahasi nemofo Sobi'a Amoni kaziga Rabati kumateti ne'ki, Amieli nemofo Makiri Lodeba kumateti ne'ki, Giliati ne' Barsilaiki hu'za musenkea hufru hu'za avre'naze.
And it comes to pass at the coming in of David to Mahanaim, that Shobi son of Nahash, from Rabbah of the sons of Ammon, and Machir son of Ammiel, from Behold-Debar, and Barzillai the Gileadite, from Rogelim,
28 Hagi zamagra tafe'ma masiza mase zanki, ne'zama kreno atino huzanki, kave'ma ati'za nesaza zuomparamima, mago'a witigi baligi flaua'ene kre hagege hunte witi aragane, rentori koheki, koheki,
[have brought] bed, and basin, and earthen vessel, and wheat, and barley, and flour, and roasted [grain], and beans, and lentiles, and roasted [pulse],
29 tume rima'agi, batagi, sipisipigi memegi sipisipimofo amiri eri kragefinteki hu'za Devitine naga'ane ne'zana eri'za e'naze. Na'ankure zamagra hu'za maka'mota za'za ka ka'ma kokampina azageno tamavesra nehigeno, tamagara netegeno, tinkura tamavenisigeno hu'ne hu'za hu'naze.
and honey, and butter, and sheep, and cheese of cows; they have brought [these] near for David, and for the people who [are] with him to eat, for they said, “Your people [are] hungry, and weary, and thirsty, in the wilderness.”
