1 Nagra Saimoni Pitana, Jisas Kraisi kazokzo eri'za aposol ne'mo'na, ana miko tagrama hunakna huta Anumzama Jisas Kraisi tamagu'mavazi ne'mo'ma Anumzamofonte'ma tazeri fatgoma nehia Nete'ma tamentintima nehazamotarega, ama avona kreneramue.
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2 Anumzamo'a asunku zama'areti'ene, rimpafru zanteti, Ranti Jisasi Kraisima kenka antahinkama hu'nana antahintahi zampina, asomu hunegante'na mago'ane hagenka marerigahane.
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 Hagi tagrama Jisasima keni'ma nehunkeno'a, Agri'a hankavemo mika zanku'ma Agri'ma avenesia avu'ava zampima upama hunazana neramie. Agri'a hanave masazama'ane, knare avu'avazama'a erisunegu, tagrira tagi hu'ne.
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 E'i ama anazampi mareri agatereno, knarezantfa hu'nea huvempa kea huhamprirante'ne, hu'negu tagranena, Agri'a avu'avazama'a nehuta, ama mopafi kefo tavesizamofo havizampintira agateregahune.
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 E'ina hu'negu ama ana agafare tamentintimo'ma hage ra hanigura mago'ane hanavetita, knare tmavutmava nehutma, knare tamavutamavatetira, knare antahintahi eneritma,
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 ana knare antahintahireti tamavufamofo avesi'zana kegava nehutma, tamavufamofo avesi'zama kegava huzanteti, knazama erita nevutma, knazama erino vuzantetira, Anumzamofo avu'avaza nehutma,
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 Anumzamofo avu'avazantetira, neramafuna knare tamavu'tmava hunezmanteta ovesinte avesinte hiho.
And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 Tamagripima ama ana avu'avazama me'nesigeta hageta marerisageno'a, e'i ana tamavu'tamavazamo'a eri ama'ma haniana, Ranti Jisas Kraisima ketma antahitmama hu'naza zamo'a amnezanknara osugahianki, nena raga'a rentegahie.
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 Hianagi iza'o e'inahu avu'avazama nosanimo'a, avua asu huge, avua afetera nonkeankino, ko'ma Anumzamo'ma kumi'ama azeri agru huno atrente'neazankura agenekanie.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 E'ina hu'negu nenafugata, hakarezama hanafina, Anumzamo huhamprintanteno tagi hune hutma hanavetita ketma antahitama nehutma, mani fatgo hiho. Na'ankure tamagrama e'inahu tamavutamavama hanuta trakara osugahaze.
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11 E'inahu kante'ma vanageno'a, Ranti Jisas Kraisi'ma taguvazi ne'mo'a, manivava kuma'amofo kafana anagi hagro hanigeta ufregahaze. (aiōnios g166)
For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
12 E'ina hu'negu tamagra ana tamage nanekema antahita oti hanaveti'nazanagi, nagra huramagesa huvava hugahue.
Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
13 Nagrama ke'na antahinama huana, ama mopafima kasefa hu'na mani'nenuna, nagra huramagesa huvava hanuana knare hu'ne.
Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
14 Na'ankure Ranti Jisas Kraisi'a nasamino ko naveri hu'neankina, ama mopafina zazakna omanigahue.
Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
15 E'i ana agafare hanavetina eri'zana eneruankita, nagrama fri'na vanugetma, anama huramagesa nehua kegura, tamagera okanigahaze.
Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
16 Na'ankure antahi'zane vahe'mo'zama nehazaza huta, tagra Ranti Jisas Kraisima esia zankura havigea nosune. Hianagi marerisa masa'ane mani'negeta tagra tavufinti ke'nona zanku neramasamune.
For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
17 Na'ankure Anumza Nafatimo Agra'a ra agi nemino, masa'a eriama nehuno, hanavenentake masa'afinti anage huno Jisasinkura hu'ne, Ama'i Nagri Mofavre, navesinentena muse hunentoa Mofavre'ni'e hu'ne.
For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
18 Higeta tagra'a agonafima mani'nonkeno ana kea monafinti higeta antahi'none. (Mat 17:1-8, Mak 9:2-8, Luk 9:28-36)
And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
19 Ana higeta tagra kasanampa vahe'mo'zama hu'naza kea antahi amama nehuta tamentinti hu'none. E'ina hu'negu tamagra ana kemofona keni nehinkeno, zamagri kemo'a hanimpima tavimo remsa huno viankna nehina, nantera ofumo, Kraisi'a tamaguafinti remsa hugahie. (Nam-Ham 24:17, Rev-Huf 22:16)
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20 Hianagi tamagrama antahiama'ma hanazana, magore huno avon tafepima me'nea kasnampa kea, kasnampa vahe'mo'za zamagra'a zamagesafintira kreonte'naze.
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 Na'ankure vahe'mo'za zamagra'a zamavesite, ana kasnampa kea kreonte'naze. Hianagi Anumzamo'ma hu'neankea Ruotge Avamumo zamazeri otige'za krente'naze.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
