And it came to pass when king Ezekias heard it, that he tore his clothes, and put on sackcloth, an went into the house of the Lord.
2 Hagi kini ne'mofo nonte kva nehia ne' Eliakiminki, avontafe'ma kreno eri fatgoma nehia ne' Sebnanki, mago'a ugagota hu'naza pristi vaheki huno Hezekai'a huzmantege'za zamasunku kukena hute'za kasnampa ne' Amosi nemofo Aisaia mani'nerega vu'naze.
And he sent Heliakim the steward, and Somnas the scribe, and the elders of the priests, clothed with sackcloth, to Esaias the prophet the son of Amos.
3 Hagi Aisaia'ma mani'nere vute'za Hezekaia'ma hu'nea nanekea amanage hu'za ome asami'naze, Asiria vahe'mo'za tazeri haviza hu naneke hazageno tagrira tusi tagaze higeta tusi'a knafi mani'none. And they said to him, Thus says Ezekias, This day [is] a day of tribulation, and rebuke, and provocation: for the children are come to the travail-[pangs], but the mother has no strength.
4 Hagi Asiria kini ne'mofo sondia vahete kva ne'ma huntegeno eno Ra Anumzana kasefa huno mani'nea Anumzamofoma huhavizama hunteankea, hago antahinegahianki nunamuna hunka Ra Anumzana kagri Anumzamofona mago'azana huntegahifi antahigo. Ana nehunka tagrama ofri'ma mani'nona naga'amotagura Ra Anumzamofontega nunamuna hunka antahigo.
Peradventure the Lord your God will hear all the words of Rapsakes, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to reproach the living God and to revile him with the words which the Lord your God has heard: and you shall offer [your] prayer for the remnant that is found.
5 Hagi kini ne' Hezekaia eri'za vahe'mo'zama Aisaiante'ma azageno'a,
So the servants of king Ezekias came to Esaias.
6 Aisaia'a amanage huno zamasami'ne, Ra Anumzamo'a amanage hianki vuta kini ne' Hesekaiana ome asmiho, Asiria kini ne'mofo eri'za vahe'mo'zama Nagri'ma huhavizama hunantaza kea kagra nentahinka korora osuo.
And Esaias said to them, Thus shall you say to your master, Thus says the Lord, Be not afraid of the words which you have heard, wherewith the servants of the king of the Assyrians have blasphemed.
7 Hagi antahio! Nagra mago avamu Asiria kini nera antente'na antahintahi'a azeri savri ha'nena, kantegati mago'a naneke nentahino, mopa'arega ete rukrahe huno vanige'za bainati kazinteti ahe frigahaze.
Behold, I send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a report, and shall return to his own land; and I will overthrow him with the sword in his own land.
8 Hagi anante Asiria sondia vahete kva ne' Rabsakima antahiama, Asiria kini ne' Senakeripima Lakisi kuma'ma atreno vuno Libna kumate vahe'ma ha'ma ome hunezmantea nanekema nentahino'a, agra Jerusalemi rankumara atreno vuno Asiria kini nera anantega ome ke'ne.
So Rapsakes returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Lobna: for he heard that he [had] departed from Lachis.
9 Hagi Asiria kini ne' Senakeripi'ma ha'ma nehuno antahiana, Kusiti ne' Isipi kini ne'ma Tirhaka'ma hahuganteku ne'e hu'za eme asami'naze. E'ina higeno Asiria kini ne'mo'a Hezekaiantega amanage huno kea atrente'ne.
And he heard concerning Tharaca king of the Ethiopians, saying, Behold, he is come forth to fight with you: and he returned, and sent messengers to Ezekias, saying,
10 Amanage hutma Juda kini ne' Hezekaiana ome asmiho, kagrama kamentintima nehana Anumzamo'ma kasamino, kza hanugeno Asiria kini ne'mo'a hara huganteno Jerusalemi kumara e'origahie huno'ma regavatgama hiankegura ontahio.
Let not your God on whom you trust encourage you, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hands of the king of the Assyrians.
11 Hagi tagra Asiria kinimotama ha'ma huzmantona kuma'ma zamazeri havizantfama nehunana kagra ko antahi'nane. Kagrama antahisanana nagri kumara anara osugahie hunka nentahino?
Behold, you have heard all that the kings of the Assyrians have done in all the lands, to waste them utterly: and shall you be delivered?
12 Hagi korapara nagri nafahe'za, Gosani rankuma'ma, Harani rankuma'ma, Rezefi rankumapima nemaniza vahe'ene, Ideni vahe'ma Tel-Asa rankumate'ma nemaniza vahe'enema ha'ma huzmante'nazana anumza zamimo'a zamaza osu'ne.
Have the gods of the nations at all delivered them, whom my fathers destroyed; both Gozan, and Charran, and Raphis, and the sons of Edem who were in Thaesthen?
13 Hagi Hamati rankumate kinima, Arpa kumate kinima, Sefarvaimi kumate kinima, Hena kumate kinima, Iva rankumate kininena menina iga mani'naze? Ana maka hago zamahe vagaronke'za fri'naze.
Where is the king of Haemath, and the king of Arphad? and where is the king of the city of Seppharvaim, of Ana, and Aba?
14 Hagi anante Asiria kini ne' Senakeripi'ma huzmantege'za e'naza vahe'mokizmi zamazampinti, Hezekaia'a ana avona erino hampriteno, ana avona erino Ra Anumzamofo mono nompi marerino, Ra Anumzamofo avure ana avona eritareno ante'ne.
And Ezekias took the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and he went up to the house of the Lord, and Ezekias spread it before the Lord,
15 Ana huteno Hezekaia'a amanage huno Ra Anumzamofontega nunamuna hu'ne, Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe'mota Anumzamoka, Kagri tra'mo'a zamagekona retare'naza ankerontami amu'nompi me'ne. Kagrake ama mopafi maka vahe'mokizmi Ra Anumzana mani'nane. Kagrake monane mopanena tro hu'nane.
and said, O Lord God of Israel that dwell over the cherubs, you are the only god in all the kingdoms of the earth; you have made heaven and earth.
16 Hagi Ra Anumzamoka kagesa antenka nunamuni'a nentahinka, Ra Anumzamoka kavua antenka negenka, Asiria kini ne' Senakeripi'ma kasefa hunka mani'nana Ra Anumzamoka kagima huhavizama hiana antahi'nane.
Incline your ear, O Lord, and hear: open, Lord, your eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherim, which he has sent to reproach the living God.
17 Hagi tamage, Ra Anumzamoka Asiria kini vahe'mo'za rama'a vahe'ma zamahe nefri'zama, kuma'zamima eri havizama hu'nazana tagra antahi'none.
For truly, Lord, the kings of Assyria have wasted the nations,
18 Hagi ana nehu'za, anama zamazeri havizama haza vahe'mokizmi anumzazamia tevefi hanavazi'za kre'naze. Na'ankure zamagra kaza osu havi anumza zafareti'ene, havereti tro huntene'za mono hunentaza zantami Asiria vahe'mo'za anara hu'naze.
and have cast their gods into the fire: because they are no gods, but the works of men's hands, wood and stone; and they have destroyed them.
19 Hianagi kagra menina tagri Ra Anumza mani'nanku hunka Asiria kini ne'mofo azampintira tagu'vazinka taza hananke'za, ama mopafima maka kaziga mani'naza ke'za antahi'za hanazana, Ra Anumzana kagrake tamage Anumza mani'nane hu'za hugahaze.
And now, O Lord our God, deliver us out of his hand, and all the kingdoms of the earth shall know that you alone [are] the Lord God.
20 Hagi anante Amosi nemofo Aisaia'a amanage huno Hezekaina kea atrente'ne, Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe'mota Anumzamo'a amanage huno hie, kagrama Asiria kini ne' Senakeripinku'ma hana nunamuna hago nagra antahi'noe.
And Esaias the son of Amos sent to Ezekias, saying, Thus says the Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, I have heard your prayer to me concerning Sennacherim king of the Assyrians.
21 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a Asiria kini ne' Senakeripinkura amanage huno huhaviza hunte'ne. Jerusalemi kumamo'a mago vene omase'nea mofakna hu'neankino, koroma nefresankeno'a kamage nevuno kagiza nereno, zokago ke huneganteno, agena rugahie.
This [is] the word which the Lord has spoken against him; The virgin daughter of Sion has made light of you, and mocked you; the daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you.
22 Hagi kagra Senakeripigama huhavizama nehunka, zokago kema nehunka, kagima erisgama nehunka, kavufgama atare'nanana, izante anara hu'noe hunka kagesa antahi'nane? E'ina'ma hu'nanana Nagra Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe'mokizmi ruotage hu'noa Anumzamo'nare anara hu'nane.
Whom have you reproached, and whom have you reviled? and against whom have you lifted up your voice, and raised your eyes on high? [Is it] against the Holy One of Israel?
23 Hagi kagra kato vaheka'amokizmi zamagite nanekea antanke'za Ra Anumzamo'na nagia huhaviza hu'naze. Ana higenka kagra amanage hunka kagia erisga hu'nane. Nagra karisiramini'a eri'na Lebanoni kaziga mareri agatere'nea agona morusapi vano nehue hu'nane. Ana nehu'na Lebanonia tusi'a zafa ta'nopa me'nefi ufre'na, vahe vano nosazama'afinti, zaza'ma hu'nea sida zafaramine, knarenare'ma hu'nea saipresi zafaramina antagi'na e'noe hu'nane.
By your messengers you has reproached the Lord, and have said, I will go up with the multitude of my chariots, to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Libanus, and I have cut down the height of his cedar, [and] his choice cypresses; and I have come into the midst of the forest and of Carmel.
24 Anage nehunka amanage hu'nane, Nagra Isipi mopafina nagiareti ana maka tintamina reho'mu nehu'na, ru vahe'mokizmi mopafina nagrani'a tinkeria kafi'na tina ne'noe hunka hu'nane.
I have refreshed [myself], and have drunk strange waters, and I have dried up with the sole of my foot all the rivers of fortified places.
25 Hagi Senakeripiga kagra ontahi'nane, korapa ana zana forera osu'nege'na, Nagra ru knafi huvame hunte'noa zamofo menina eriama nehu'na hankavea negamugenka, kagra hankave nentake have keginama hugagi'naza ranra kumatmina, hara huzmagaterankeno, have kegina zamimo'a fragu vaziramino mopafina hihi huno mareri'ne.
I have brought about [the matter], I have brought it to a conclusion; and it is come to the destruction of the bands of warlike prisoners, [even of] strong cities.
26 Hagi ana kumatmimpi vahe'mokizmi hankavea omnege'za, antahintahi hakare nehazageno tusi zamagaze hu'ne. Anama hazazamo'a mopafi tra'zamo kasefa kasefa huno marenerigeno, trazamo nomoteti hageno marenerigeno zagemo'ma rentegeno hagegema hiaza hu'naze.
And they that lived in them were weak in hand, they quaked and were confounded, they became [as] grass of the field, or [as] the green herb, the grass [growing on] houses, and that which is trodden down by him that stands [upon it].
27 Hianagi kagra menina inante mani'nano, inantegati ano, inantega vano nehunka, menima krimpama ahenantanana ko antahi'na ke'na hu'noe.
But I know your down-sitting, and your going forth, and your rage against me.
28 Hagi kagrama kavufga erisga nehunka, krimpa ahenantana zamo'a Nagrite ege'na antahi'noe. E'ina hu'negu menina Nagra hosimofo agipima renentaza ani atupa eri'na kagipi antete'na, kazeri rukrahe ha'nena e'nana kantega ete vugahane.
Because you was angry against me, and your fierceness is come up into my ears, therefore will I put my hooks in your nostrils, and my bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way by which you came.
29 Hagi Aisaia'ma Sinakeripinku'ma asamia kemo'ma tamage huno efore hanigenoma kesigura, Hezekaiana amanahu avame ke asmi'ne, meni kafufina hozafima agraragisama hagesia ne'za hamareta nenetma, anante kafufina anampinti'ma rutri hanifinti'ma hageno mrerino raga rentesia ne'za hamareta negahaze. Hianagi nampa 3 kafufina tamagra'a ne'zana krita nenetma, tamagra'a waini hoza antetma raga'a tagitma negahaze.
And this shall be a sign to you; eat this year the things that grow of themselves, and in the second year the things which spring up: and in the third year [let there be] sowing, and reaping, and planting of vineyards, and eat you the fruit of them.
30 Ana nehanageno Juda nagapima ha' vahe'mo'zama ozmahage'za osi'ama mani'naza naga'mo'za ete zamagra hozafi avimzamo rafu'na atregeno mopafi uneramigeno, hageno raga renteankna hugahaze.
And he shall increase him that has escaped of the house of Juda: and the remnant [shall strike] root beneath, and it shall produce fruit above.
31 Hagi Ra Anumzana hankavenentake Anumzamo Jerusalemi kumapine, Zaioni agonafima osi'a naga'ma mani'naza nagara, ofri mani'ne'za hagegahaze. Ana nehanageno Ra Anumzamo'a hankave agu'agesa antahi'neankino, anazana huzmantegahie.
For from Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and he that escapes from the mountain of Sion: the zeal of the Lord of host shall do this.
32 E'ina hu'negu Ra Anumzamo'a Asiria kini nekura amanage hu'ne, agra Jerusalemi kumapina enofreno, kevea magore huno ahetresigeno omegahie. Hanko'a erino erava'ona nosuno, kuma keginamofo tvaontera marerino ha'ma hu'zana mopa eritru huno trora osugahie.
[Is it] not so? Thus says the Lord concerning the king of the Assyrians, He shall not enter into this city, and he shall not shoot an arrow there, neither shall a shield come against it, neither shall he heap a mound against it.
33 Hagi Nagra Ra Anumzamo'na huama huankino, Jerusalemi rankumapina eofretfa nehuno, agrama e'nea kantega ete rukrahe huno vugahie.
By the way by which he comes, by it shall he return, and he shall not enter into this city, says the Lord.
34 Hagi Nagrama e'inama hanuana Nagri'ma ra nagima namisagu anara nehu'na, eri'za vaheni'a Devitima huvempama hunte'noa kegu ene anara hugahue.
And I will defend this city as with a shield, for my own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
35 Hagi ana kenagera Ra Anumzamofo ankeromo Asiria sondia vahe'ma seli noma eme ki'za mani'nafi vuno, sondia vahe'zaga 185 tauseni'a zamahe fri'ne. Anama hutege'za nanterama oti'zama kazana ana kumapina maka fri'naza vahe zamavufagamoke'za avite'nege'za ke'naze.
And it came to pass at night that the angel of the Lord went forth, an struck in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and eighty-five thousand: and they rose early in the morning, and, behold, [these were] all dead corpses.
36 Anama higeno'a Asiria kini ne' Senakeripi'a seli nonkuma'ma eme ante'zama mani'naza kumara atreno Ninive rankumate vuno umani'ne.
And Sennacherim king of the Assyrians departed, and went and returned, and lived in Nineve.
37 Hagi mago zupa Senakeripi'a Nisroku havi anumzama'amofo mono nompi mono hunentegeno, tare ne'mofavre'a Adramelekike Sareserikea eke bainati kazinteti eme ahe friteke, freke Ararati moparega umanikeno, nemofo Esarhadoni'a nefa nona erino kinia mani'ne.
And it came to pass, while he was worshipping in the house of Meserach his god, that Adramelech and Sarasar his sons struck him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of Ararath; and Asordan his son reigned in his stead.
