1 Hanki Jehu'ma 7ni'a kafuma Israeli vahe kinima nemanigeno'a Joasi'a Juda vahe kinia efore huno, Jerusalemi kumatera 40'a kafufi kinia mani'ne. Joasi nerera'a Besiba kumateti akino agi'a Zibia'e.
Jehoash began to reign in the seventh year of Jehu, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Zibiah of Beersheba.

Jehoash said to the priests, “All the money of the holy things that is brought into the LORD’s house, in current money, the money of the people for whom each man is evaluated, and all the money that it comes into any man’s heart to bring into the LORD’s house,
5 Hagi kenkeno'ma Ra Anumzamofo mono nomo'ma havizama haniana, zagoma kegavama hu'naza vaheteti pristi vahe'mo'za mago'a zagoa eri'za ana mono nona eri fatgo hiho.
let the priests take it to them, each man from his donor; and they shall repair the damage to the house, wherever any damage is found.”
6 Hianagi pristi vahe'mo'za Ra Anumzamofo mono noma havizama hiana eri fatgo osu'za mani'nageno eno Joasi'ma kinima manino egeno 23ma hia kafure ehanati'ne.
But it was so, that in the twenty-third year of King Jehoash the priests had not repaired the damage to the house.
7 E'ina hu'negu pristi ne' Jehoiadane, mago'a pristi vahera kini ne' Joasi'a kehige'za azageno amanage huno zamasami'ne, Nahigeta Ra Anumzamofo mono noma havizama hu'neana eriso'ea osu'naze? Hagi ana zagoa erinteteta omanita, noma negi'za vahe'mokizmi eri'zaminke'za ra mono nona eri fatgo hiho.
Then King Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and for the other priests, and said to them, “Why aren’t you repairing the damage to the house? Now therefore take no more money from your treasurers, but deliver it for repair of the damage to the house.”

The priests consented that they should take no more money from the people, and not repair the damage to the house.
9 Hanki anante pristi ne' Jehoiada'a mago vogisi erino avaza'arera mago ka hagenteteno, ana vogisia kre sramnavu itamofo tva'onte, tamaga kaziga vahe'ma unefrare ante'ne. But Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in its lid, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one comes into the LORD’s house; and the priests who kept the threshold put all the money that was brought into the LORD’s house into it.
10 Hanki kazageno'ma ana vogisifima zagomo'ma avimatege'za, vugota pristi ne'ene kinimofo eri'za vahe'mo'za e'za ana zagoa Ra Anumzamofo mono nompintira eme hampari'za kupina eriri'naze.
When they saw that there was much money in the chest, the king’s scribe and the high priest came up, and they put it in bags and counted the money that was found in the LORD’s house.
11 Anama hute'za ra mono noma havizama hunenige'za eriso'ema hanaza vahe'mokizmi kva nemofo azampi, ana zagoa antegahaze. Hagi Ra Anumzamofo noma eri fatgoma hanaza kamunta vahe'ene noma kisaza vahe'ene,
They gave the money that was weighed out into the hands of those who did the work, who had the oversight of the LORD’s house; and they paid it out to the carpenters and the builders who worked on the LORD’s house,
12 havereti'ma noma negi'za vahe'ene, noma negi'za vahe'ene, asopa noma kiza vahe'enena ana zagoreti mizana sezamante'naze. Hanki mago'a zagoretira, zafa mizanese'za havea mizanese'za, mago'a zanena mizase'za Ra Anumzamofo mono noma havizama hu'neana maka eri fatgo hu'naze.
and to the masons and the stone cutters, and for buying timber and cut stone to repair the damage to the LORD’s house, and for all that was laid out for the house to repair it.
13 Hanki anama eri'za e'naza zagoretira, Ra Anumzamofo mono noma eri fatgohu eri'zanteke atre'naze. Ana nehu'za silvareti trohu zuomparamine, tavi'ma erisuhu zotaramine, tima runi runimahu zuomparamine, uferamine, mago'a goliretiro silvareti'ma tro'ma hu'naza zantamina Ra Anumzamofo mono nompima eri'zama eri zantaminena ana zagofintira mizana ose'naze.
But there were not made for the LORD’s house cups of silver, snuffers, basins, trumpets, any vessels of gold or vessels of silver, of the money that was brought into the LORD’s house;
14 Hianagi anama Ra Anumzamofo mono nompima eri'za aza zagoa, mono noma eri fatgo haza vahe miza huzmante'naze.
for they gave that to those who did the work, and repaired the LORD’s house with it.
15 Hanki zamagra eri'zama kvama hu'ne'za, eri'za vahe'ma zagoma mizama senezmantaza vahe'mo'za fatgo zamavu'zmava hu'za zagoa erihava osu'naze. E'ina hazage'za ugagota kva vahe'mo'za ana zagogura zamantahia onke'naze.
Moreover they didn’t demand an accounting from the men into whose hand they delivered the money to give to those who did the work; for they dealt faithfully.
16 Hianagi hazenke'ma eri fatgohu ofane, kumi ofama hunaku'ma eri'za aza zagoa, Ra Anumzamofo mono nompi zagoma nentafina ome onte'nazanki, eri'za pristi vahe ome zami'naze.
The money for the trespass offerings and the money for the sin offerings was not brought into the LORD’s house. It was the priests’.
17 Hanki ana knafina Siria kini ne' Hazaeli'a, Gati rankumara hara huzamagatereno eri'ne. Anama huteno'a rukrahe huno Jerusalemi kuma ha' hunteku ke'ne.
Then Hazael king of Syria went up and fought against Gath, and took it; and Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.
18 Hagi anama huteno'a Jerusalema ehanatigeno'a, korapa Jehosafati'ma, Jehoramu'ma, Ahazia'ma hu'za Ra Anumzamofoma ami'naza maka zantamine, Joasi'ma ante'nea zantamine, ra mono nompine, kinimofo nompima ante'naza golia ana maka Joasi'a eritru huno Siria kini ne' Hazaelina muse'za ami'ne. Ana musezama Hazaelia enerino'a, Jerusalemi kumara hara huonteno atreno vu'ne.
Jehoash king of Judah took all the holy things that Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own holy things, and all the gold that was found in the treasures of the LORD’s house, and of the king’s house, and sent it to Hazael king of Syria; and he went away from Jerusalem.
19 Hanki Joasi'ma kinima mani'nea knafima tro'ma hu'nea zamofo, agigenkene, mago'a zama hu'neazamofo agenkea, Juda kini vahe'mokizmi zamagenkema krenentaza avontafepi krente'naze.
Now the rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
