1 Hagi Joasi'a 7ni'a kafu hu'neno Juda vahe kini efore hu'neankino, 40'a kafufi Jerusalemi kumatera kinia mani'ne. Hagi nerera agi'a Sibiakino agra Beseba kumateti a' mani'ne.

A son of seven years [is] Joash in his reigning, and forty years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Zibiah of Beer-Sheba.

2 Hagi pristi ne' Jehoiada'ma mani'nea knafina, Joasi'a Ra Anumzamofo avurera fatgo avu'avake hu'ne.

And Joash doth that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah all the days of Jehoiada the priest.

3 Hagi Jehoiada'a tare atre Joasina avre amigeno, ne'mofara kasezmante'ne.

And Jehoiada taketh for him two wives, and he begetteth sons and daughters.

4 Hagi ana'ma hutegeno'a, Joasi'a Ra Anumzamofo mono no eri so'e huno kinaku agesa antahi'ne.

And it cometh to pass after this, it hath been with the heart of Joash to renew the house of Jehovah,

5 Ana nehuno pristi vahetamine Livae vahetaminena kehu atru huno amanage huno zamasami'ne, Maka Juda mopafima me'nea rankumatmimpi vuta Israeli vahepintira kafune kafunema Ra Anumzamofo mono noma eriso'e huta ki'nuna silva zagoa zogita egahaze. Hagi anagema huteno'a, ame huta viho huno huzmante'ne. Hianagi Livae vahe'mo'za kema hiazana hu'za ame hu'za ovu'naze.

and he gathereth the priests and the Levites, and saith to them, 'Go out to the cities of Judah, and gather from all Israel money to strengthen the house of your God sufficiently year by year, and ye, ye do haste to the matter;' and the Levites have not hasted.

6 E'inama hazageno'a kini ne'mo'a ugota pristi ne' Jehoiadana amanage huno antahige'ne, Nahigenka Livae vahetmina ame hunka huozmantanke'za Juda mopafinti'ene Jerusalemi kumapintira Ra Anumzamofo eri'za vahe Mosese'ma hu'nea kantera ante'za takesi zagone, kasegema ante nomofo zagoa zogiza nomaze?

And the king calleth for Jehoiada the head, and saith to him, 'Wherefore hast thou not required of the Levites to bring in out of Judah and out of Jerusalem the tribute of Moses, servant of Jehovah, and of the assembly of Israel, for the tent of the testimony?

7 Na'ankure kefo avu'ava'ene a' Atalia mofavre'ramimo'za Anumzamofo mono nona tapage hu'za ufre'za, Ra Anumzamofo zanema hu'za eri ruotge'ma hunte'naza zantamina eri'za, Bali havi anumzamofonte mono hunte zantami ome ante'naze.

for sons of Athaliah, the wicked one, have broken up the house of God, and also, all the holy things of the house of Jehovah they have prepared for Baalim.'

8 Anage nehuno kini ne' Joasi'a ke hige'za mago vogisi tro hu'za Ra Anumzamofo mono kuma kafante ante'naze.

And the king speaketh, and they make one chest, and put it at the gate of the house of Jehovah without,

9 Hagi Israeli vahetmima hagege kokampima mani'nazageno Anumzamofo eri'za ne' Mosese'ma hige'zama takisima zogi'za eme ami'nazaza hu'za, Judane Jerusalema nemaniza vahetega takisi zagoa erita eho huno kea atregeno vuno eno hu'ne.

and give an intimation in Judah and in Jerusalem to bring in to Jehovah the tribute of Moses, servant of God, [laid] on Israel in the wilderness.

10 Higeno maka kva vahe'mo'zane, maka vahe'mo'zanena muse nehu'za ana vogisifina zagoa eri'za eme nentazageno avite'ne.

And all the heads, and all the people rejoice, and they bring in, and cast into the chest, unto completion.

11 Hagi Livae vahe'mo'zama ana zago vogisima eri'za kini ne'mofo eri'za vahete'ene, zago'are'ma kegavama nehaza vahetema azage'za, ana vahe'mo'za ana zagoma ante vogisima kazama silva zagomo'ma avi'matenege'za ana zagoa ruherafi nente'za, ete eri'za ana kuma kafante ome antetere hu'naze. Maka kna ana huvava nehu'za tusi silva zago zogi'naze.

And it cometh to pass, at the time one bringeth in the chest for the inspection of the king by the hand of the Levites, and at their seeing that the money [is] abundant, that a scribe of the king hath come in, and an officer of the head-priest, and they empty the chest, and take it up and turn it back unto its place; thus they have done day by day, and gather money in abundance.

12 Hagi kini ne' Joasi'ene Jehoiadakea ana zagoa erike Ra Anumzamofo mono noma eri so'ema hu' vahe zamazampi ante'na'e. Ana nehuke noma ki vahetamine, zamazanteti'ma keonkezama tro hu vahe'ene, ainine bronsinema kreno ke'onkezama trohu vahetaminena zagoa mizasezmantazage'za Ra Anumzamofo mono nona eri so'e hu'za ki'naze.

And the king and Jehoiada give it unto the doers of the work of the service of the house of Jehovah, and they are hiring hewers and artificers to renew the house of Jehovah, and also — to artificers in iron and brass to strengthen the house of Jehovah.

13 Hagi ana eri'za vahe'mo'za hanaveti'za eri'zana e'nerizageno, eri'zamo'a ome vagarege'za ko'ma hu'nazaza hu'za Anumzamofo mono nona eri hanavetiza eri so'e hu'za ki'naze.

And those doing the business work, and there goeth up lengthening to the work by their hand, and they establish the house of God, by its proper measure, and strengthen it.

14 Hagi ana eri'zama eri vagamarete'za amnema me'nea zago'a eri atru hu'za eri'za kini ne'ene, Jehoiadakizni eme znamizageke, ana zagoa erike Ra Anumzamofo nompima antesaza golire zantamima silvare zantamine tro hu'na'e. Hagi Jehoiadama pristima mani'nea kna'afina, Ra Anumzamofo mono nompina vahe'mo'za ofa eri'za eme kresramna vu vava hu'naze.

And at their completing [it], they have brought in before the king and Jehoiada the rest of the money, and they make it vessels for the house of Jehovah, vessels of serving, and of offering up, and spoons, even vessels of gold and silver; and they are causing burnt-offerings to ascend in the house of Jehovah continually, all the days of Jehoiada.

15 Hianagi Jehoiada'a 130'a kafu huteno ozafareno fri'ge'za,

And Jehoiada is aged and satisfied with days, and dieth — a son of a hundred and thirty years in his death,

16 kini vahetmima asenezmantazafi Deviti rankumapi asente'naze. Na'ankure agra Israeli vahete'ene, Anumzamofonte'ene mono nompine agra nagate'enena knare avu'avaza hu'ne.

and they bury him in the city of David, with the kings, for he hath done good in Israel, and with God, and his house.

17 Hagi Jehoiada'ma fritege'za Juda kumatamimpinti kva vahe'mo'za kini ne' Joasinte eza eme kepri hu'za ra agi nemi'za antahintahia eme amizageno, ana antahintahi zamia amage ante'ne.

And after the death of Jehoiada come in have heads of Judah, and bow themselves to the king; then hath the king hearkened unto them,

18 Ana'ma hige'za kini ne'mo'ene vahetamimo'za Ra Anumzana zamagehe'i Anumzamofo mono nona atre'za, zafare'ma antre'za Asera havi anumzamofo amema'ama tro'ma hunte'naza zante'ene, kaza osu havi anumzantminte monora hunte'naze. E'ina hazageno Juda vahe'ene Jerusalemi vahera Anumzamo'a tusi arimpa ahezmante'ne.

and they forsake the house of Jehovah, God of their fathers, and serve the shrines and the idols, and there is wrath upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their guilt.

19 Ra Anumzamo'a antahintahi zamima zamazeri rukrahe hanige'za Agritega ehogu'ma, kasnampa vahetmina huzmantege'za kefo avu'ava zana atretma Anumzamofonte eho hu'za ome zmasamizanagi, ana kezmia ontahi'naze.

And He sendeth among them prophets, to bring them back unto Jehovah, and they testify against them, and they have not given ear;

20 Ana hazageno Ra Anumzamofo Avamu'mo'a pristi ne' Jehoiada nemofo Zekaraiante hanavetino egeno, ana vahetmimofo zamavuga otino amanage huno zamasmi'ne, Anumzamo'a amanage hie, Nahigeta Ra Anumzamofo kasegea amagera nontazageno, maka zama hazazamo'a knarera nosie? Na'ankure tamagra Ra Anumzamofona tamagena humizageno, Agranena ana zanke huno amagena tamagrira hurami'ne.

and the Spirit of God hath clothed Zechariah son of Jehoiada the priest, and he standeth over-against the people, and saith to them, 'Thus said God, Why are ye transgressing the commands of Jehovah, and prosper not? because ye have forsaken Jehovah — He doth forsake you.'

21 Hianagi ahe frinaku kea retro hutazageno, kini ne'mo'a ahe friho hige'za Zekaraiana Ra Anumzamofo mono nonkumapi have knonu ahe fri'naze.

And they conspire against him, and stone him with stones by the command of the king, in the court of the house of Jehovah,

22 Hagi Joasi'a Jehoiada'ma knare'zama hunte'nea zankura agesa ontahi, nemofo Zekaraiana ke'a omne vahera ahe fri'ne. Hagi havenknonu'ma Zekaraiama ahazagenoma nefrino'a amanage hu'ne, Amama haza zana Ra Anumzamo'a negeno, Agra'a nona huzmantesie.

and Joash the king hath not remembered the kindness that Jehoiada his father did with him, and slayeth his son, and in his death he said, 'Jehovah doth see, and require.'

23 Hagi ana kafumo'ma vagamaneregeno kasefa kafuma agafama nehigeno'a, Siria sondia vahe'mo'za Juda vahe'ene Jerusalemi kumapima nemaniza vahe'enena ha' eme huzmante'za, maka ranra kva vahetmina zamahe hana nehu'za, maka fenozmia eri'za Damaskasi kini netega atrazageno vu'ne.

And it cometh to pass, at the turn of the year, come up hath the force of Aram against him, and they come in unto Judah and Jerusalem, and destroy all the heads of the people from the people, and all their spoil they have sent to the king of Damascus,

24 Juda vahera rama'a sondia vahe manizageno, Siria sondia vahera osi'a vahe' e'nazanagi, Ra Anumzamo'a Siria sondia vahe zamazampi Juda sondia vahera zamavarentege'za hara huzmagatere'naze. Na'ankure Juda vahe'mo'za Ra Anumzana zamafahe'i Anumzamofo zamagena humi'naze. E'i ana agafare Joasina hazenkea ami'naze.

for with few men have the force of Aram come in, and Jehovah hath given into their hand a mighty force for multitude, because they have forsaken Jehovah, God of their fathers; and with Joash they have executed judgments.

25 Hagi ha'ma huvagamanere'za, Joasina ahe kuzafa nente'za atre'za vu'naze. Ana'ma hazage'za pristi ne' Jehoiada nemofo Zekaraiama ahe fri'nea zante eri'za vahe'aramimo'za ke hugantugma hu'za tafe'are'ma masenere ahe frite'za, Deviti rankumapi ome asente'nazanagi, kini vahe'ma asezmante matipina aseonte'nazanki, rufi ome asente'naze.

And in their going from him — for they left him with many diseases — his servants themselves have conspired against him, for the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and slay him on his bed, and he dieth; and they bury him in the city of David, and have not buried him in the graves of the kings.

26 Hagi kema hugantugama huke Joasima ahe fri'na'a ne'trena, Amoni a'mo Simeati kasente'nea ne' Zabadi'ene, Moapu a'mo Simireti'ma kasente'nea ne' Jehozabatike ahe fri'na'e.

And these [are] those conspiring against him, Zabad son of Shimeath the Ammonitess, and Jehozabad son of Shimrith the Moabitess.

27 Hagi kini vahetmimofo zamagenkema krente'naza avontafepi, Joasi mofavrerami zamagenkene, kasnampa vahe'mo'zama agrikuma kasnampa kema hu'naza nanekea krente'naze. Hagi anama hutegeno'a nemofo Amasia Joasi nona erino kinia mani'ne.

As to his sons, and the greatness of the burden upon him, and the foundation of the house of God, lo, they are written on the 'Inquiry' of the book of the Kings; and reign doth Amaziah his son in his stead.
