1 Hagi Jehosafati'a tusi feno ne' nemanige'za ra agi nemizageno, agra Ahapu mofa nemofonte ara erinemino, Ahapu'enema tragoteno mani'nia kea huhagerafi'ne.

And Josaphat had yet great wealth and glory, and he connected himself by marriage with the house of Achaab.

2 Hagi mago'a kafu evutegeno, Jehosafati'a Ahapu ome kenaku Sameria kumate vigeno Ahapu'a rama'a sipisipi afutamine bulimakao afutamine aheno Jehosafatine, agri'enema vaza vahetmina ne'zana krezamente'ne. And he went down after a term of years to Achaab to Samaria: and Achaab killed for him sheep and calves, in abundance, and for the people with him, and he much desired him to go up with him to Ramoth of the country of Galaad.

And Achaab king of Israel said to Josaphat king of Juda, Will you go with me to Ramoth of the country of Galaad? And he said to him, As I [am], so also [are] you, as your people, [so] also [is] my people with you for the war.

4 Hianagi Jehosafeti'a huno, Kotazana amama ha'ma hunaku'ma nehu'azana Ra Anumzamo'a na'ane hugahifi antahigeta keteta'e huno Israeli vahe kini ne' Ahapuna asami'ne.

And Josaphat said to the king of Israel, Seek, I pray you, the Lord today.

5 Anage higeno Israeli vahe kini ne' Ahapu'a 400'a kasnampa vahetami zamavare atru huteno amanage huno zamasami'ne, Ramot-Gileati vahera hara ome huzmantenumpi, ome huozmante'nune? Anage'ma hige'za zamagra hu'za, Anumzamo'a kini ne'moka kazampi zmavrentegahianki, marerinka ome hara huzmanto hu'za hu'naze.

And the king of Israel gathered the prophets, four hundred men, and said to them, Shall I go to Ramoth Galaad to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up, and God shall deliver [it] into the hands of the king.

6 Hianagi Jehosafati'a mago'ene huno, Ra Anumzamofo kasnampa vahera ama'age mani'nazafi, mago'a mani'nazagu zmantahigegahune huno hu'ne.

And Josaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the Lord besides, that we may enquire of him?

And the king of Israel said to Josaphat, There is yet one man by whom to enquire of the Lord; but I hate him, for he does not prophesy concerning me for good, for all his days [are] for evil: this [is] Michaias the son of Jembla. And Josaphat said, Let not the king say so.

And the king called an eunuch, and said, [Fetch] quickly Michaias the son of Jembla.

And the king of Israel and Josaphat king of Juda were sitting each on his throne, and clothed in their robes, sitting in the open space at the entrance of the gate of Samaria: and all the prophets were prophesying before them.

10 Hagi Kenana nemofo Zedekai'a ainireti pazivetamina tro huteno amanage hu'ne, Ra Anumzamo'a amanage hie, Siria vahera ama'na pazivetaminteti zamahenka zamaretufenka nevunka, ome zamahe fri vagaregahane hie.

And Sedekias son of Chanaan made for himself iron horns, and said, Thus says the Lord, With these you shall thrust Syria until it be consumed.

11 Anage hige'za mika kasnampa vahe'mo'za magozahu kasnampa kege nehu'za amanage hu'naze, marerinka Ramot-Giliati vahera hara ome huzmagatero. Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a kini ne'moka kazampi zamavarentegahie.

And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramoth Galaad, and you shall prosper; and the Lord shall deliver it into the hands of the king.

12 Hagi Mikaiama asminaku'ma via eri'za ne'mo'a, Mikaiana asmino, ko, mika kasnampa vahe'mo'za Ahapuna knare kasnampa kegege'za eme asmi'naze. Hanki menina antahio, mago'a kasnampa vahe'mo'zama hu'nazankna hunka kini ne'moka hara agateregahane hunka ome asmio.

And the messenger that went to call Michaias spoke to him, saying, Behold, the prophets have spoken favourably concerning the king with one mouth; let now, I pray you, your words be as [the words] of one of them, and do you speak good things.

13 Hianagi Mikaia'a amanage hu'ne, Nagra kasefa huno mani'nea Ra Anumzamo'ma nasami'nea kege'za hugahue.

And Michaias said, [As] the Lord lives, whatever God shall say to me, that will I speak.

14 Hagi Mikaia'ma kini ne' Ahapunte'ma ehanatigeno'a Ahapu'a antahigeno, Mikaiaga Ramot-Gileati kumate vahera hara ome huzmantegahufi hara ome huozmantegahue huno Ahapu'a antahigegeno, Mikaia'a huno, Vunka hara ome huzmanto. Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a ana maka vahera kazampi zamavarentegahie.

And he came to the king, and the king said to him, Michaias, shall I go up to Ramoth Galaad to battle, or shall I forbear? And he said, Go up, and you shall prosper, and they shall be given into your hands.

15 Hianagi kini ne' Ahapu'a Mikaiana asmino, Nama'a zupa Ra Anumzamofo agifina tamage hunka huvempa hunka nasamio nehugenka, kagra havige kasnampa kea nehane?

And the king said to him, How often shall I solemnly charge you that you speak to me nothing but truth in the name of the Lord?

16 Huno higeno Mikaia'a anage hu'ne, Israeli vahe'mo'za kvazmimo omani sipisipimozama nehaza hu'za agonaramimpina panini hu'za vu'za eza nehazage'na ke'noe. Ana nehazageno Ra Anumzamo'a huno, Kvazmia omani'neanki, zamatrege'za nozmirega zamarimpa frune vu'za e'za hiho hu'ne.

And he said, I saw Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep without a shepherd: and the Lord said, These have no commander; let each return to his home in peace.

17 Anagema higeno'a Israeli kini ne'mo'a, Jehosafatina asmino, ko'ma kasmi'na ama ne'mo'a knare kasanampa kea osugahianki, nagri'ma nazeri havizahu kasnampa kege hugahie hu'na kasami'noe.

And the king of Israel said to Josaphat, Said I not to you, that he would not prophesy concerning me good, but evil?

18 Hagi anagema nehakeno'a Mikaia'a huno, Ra Anumzamofonkea antahio, Ra Anumzamo'a kini tra'are monafina mani'negeno, maka monafinka ankero vahe'mo'za Anumzamofona tamaga kazigane, hoga kaziganena mani'nazage'na ke'noe.

But he said, Not so. Hear you the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven stood by on his right hand and on his left.

19 Ra Anumzamo'a amanage hu'ne, Iza Israeli kini ne' Ahapuna ome revatga hanigeno Ramot-Gileatia marerinige'za ahegahaze? Anage higeno magoke magokemo'a agra'a antahintahi'a huama hutere hu'ne.

And the Lord said, Who will deceive Achaab king of Israel, that he may go up, and fall in Ramoth Galaad? And one spoke this way, and another spoke that way.

20 Anage hazageno, mago avamu'mo'a Ra Anumzamofo avuga eotino amanage hu'ne, Nagra ome revatga hugahue higeno, Ra Anumzamo'a huno inankna hunka ome revatga hugahane? huno antahigegeno,

And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will deceive him. And the Lord said, Whereby?

And he said, I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And [the Lord] said, You shall deceive [him], and shall prevail: go forth, and do so.

22 E'ina hu'negu menina antahio, Ra Anumzamo'a havigema hu vahe'ma revatga hu avamu maka kasnampa vaheka'aramimofo zamagipina ante'ne. Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a kagrikura hazenke erigahane huno hunte'ne.

And now, behold, the Lord has put a false spirit in the mouth of these your prophets, and the Lord has spoken evil against you.

23 Anage'ma higeno'a, Kenana ne'mofo Zedekaia'a eno Mikaiana ameragente eme rupro hunemino amanage hu'ne, Inankna huno Ra Anumzamofo Avamu'mo'a nagrira natreno kagritega vuno nanekea ome kasami'ne?

Then Sedekias the son of Chanaan drew near, and struck Michaias on the cheek, and said to him, By what way passed the Spirit of the Lord from me to speak to you?

24 Higeno Mikaia'a kenona huno, Antahio, henkama ha' vahe'mo'zama ha'ma eme hurante'nagenka nomofo agu'afi hunaragintepinka ome frakinka umani'nenka, tamage hu'ne hunka antahigahane.

And Michaias said, Behold, you shall see in that day, when you shall go from chamber to chamber to hide yourself.

25 Anagema higeno'a, Israeli vahe kini ne' Ahapu'a huno, Mikaiana avreta rankumama kegavama hu'nea gavana ne' Amoninte'ene nenamofo Joasainte vuta,

And the king of Israel said, Take Michaias, and carry him back to Emer the governor of the city, and to Joas the captain, the king's son;

26 kini ne'mo'a amanage hie huta ome hiho, Ama nera kinafi avrenteneta mago zana omita bretine tinke'za aminkeno neneno mani'nena, hara ome hute'na ete a'neno huno hie huta ome asamiho.

and you shall say, Thus said the king, Put this fellow into the prison house, and let him eat the bread of affliction, and [drink] the water of affliction, until I return in peace.

27 Anante Mikaia'a amanage hu'ne, Hapinti'ma onkahesagenkama kagrama knare hunka esanke'na Ra Anumzamo'a nagripina huvazino kasnampa kea osu'ne hu'na hugahue. Hagi ama nanekea maka vahe'mota antahio!

And Michaias said, If you do at all return in peace, the Lord has not spoken by me. And he said, Hear, all you people.

28 Higeno Israeli vahe kini ne' Ahapu'ene Juda vahe kini ne' Jehosafatikea sondia vahe'zania zamavareke Ramot-Gileati mareri'na'e.

So the king of Israel, and Josaphat king of Juda, went up to Ramoth Galaad.

29 Hagi Israeli vahe kini ne' Ahapu'a amanage huno Jehosafatinkura hu'ne, Nagra amne vahe kna hu'na ha' kukena hu'na hapi ufregahue. Hanki kagra kini vahe kukena hunka vuo, huno nesmino agra amne kukena huno hapina ufre'ne.

And the king of Israel said to Josaphat, Disguise me, and I will enter into the battle: and do you put on my raiment. so the king of Israel disguised himself, and entered into the battle.

30 Hagi Siria vahe kini ne'mo'a, karisifi maniza ha'ma nehaza sondia vahete kva vahetminkura huno, Ruga'a vahe'enena hara osuta, Israeli kini ne'ke'za hara hunteho.

Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that were with him, saying, Fight neither against small nor great, but only against the king of Israel.

31 Anage'ma hige'za nevu'za Jehosafatima ome nege'za Israeli vahe kini nere hu'za nehu'za rukrahe hu'za avariri'naze. Hianagi Jehosafati'a kezatino, Ra Anumzamoka naza huo higeno, Anumzamo'a aza huno zamazeri rukrahe hige'za atre'za rurega vu'naze.

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Josaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel: and they compassed him about to fight against him: and Josaphat cried out, and the Lord delivered him; and God turned them away from him.

32 Hagi karisifima mani'za e'naza sondia vahe'mo'zama kazama Israeli kini nerompage ru ne'ma nege'za, avarari'zama nevazaretira ome atre'za rukrahe hu'za e'naze.

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned away from him.

And a man drew a bow with a good aim, and struck the king of Israel between the lungs and the breast-plate: and he said to the charioteer, Turn your hand, drive me out of the battle, for I am wounded.

And the battle turned in that day; and the king of Israel remained on the chariot against Syria until evening, and died at sunset.
