1 Samue 5
1 Hagi Filistia vahe'mo'za Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisia ha'ma hu'za Ebeneza kumatetima erite'za, eri'za vu'za Asdoti kumate uhanati'naze.
And the Philistines have taken the Ark of God, and bring it in from Eben-Ezer to Ashdod,
2 Anama hute'za Filistia vahe'mo'za Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisia eri'za havi anumzazimimofo Dagoni mono nompi mareri'za, ana havi anumzazamimofo asoparega tava'oma'are ome ante'naze.
and the Philistines take the Ark of God and bring it into the house of Dagon, and set it near Dagon.
3 Hagi Asdoti kumate vahe'mo'za nanterama oti'za eme kazana Dagoni havi anumzamo'a mopafi traka huno avugati Ra Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisimofo avuga mase'nege'za eme ke'za antri nehu'za, ete eri'za noma'are ome retrurente'naze.
And the Ashdodites rise early on the next day, and behold, Dagon is fallen on its face to the earth, before the Ark of YHWH; and they take Dagon, and put it back in its place.
4 Hianagi ete'za anante nanterama oti'za eme kazana ete mago'ane Dagoni havi anumzamo'a traka huno Ra Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisimofo avuga avugosaregati mase'nege'za ke'naze. Hagi ana Dagoni havi anumzamofo aseni'ane azantremokea ruhantagike kahantrate me'nazageno avufga'amoke me'ne.
And they rise early in the morning on the next day, and behold, Dagon is fallen on its face to the earth, before the Ark of YHWH, and the head of Dagon, and the two palms of its hands are cut off at the threshold, only Dagon’s [body] has been left of him;
5 E'ina agafare meninena Dagoni havi anumzamofo pristi vahe'mo'zane amane vahe'mo'zama ana Dagoni havi anumzamofo mono no kafante'ma unefre'za, ana kaha tratera zamaga ore'za takauneraze.
therefore the priests of Dagon, and all those coming into the house of Dagon, do not tread on the threshold of Dagon, in Ashdod, until this day.
6 Hagi Asdotima mani'naza vahe'ene, tva'ozamire'ma me'nea kumatamimpi vahe'enena Ra Anumzamo'a azana rusuteno usgenkna namunteti zamazeri haviza hu'ne.
And the hand of YHWH is heavy on the Ashdodites, and He makes them desolate, and strikes them with lumps, Ashdod and its borders.
7 Hagi anazama fore'ma hiazama Asdoti vene'nemo'za nege'za amanage hu'naze, Israeli vahe Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisia tagranena omanenianki, erita ome atresune. Na'ankure Agra azana rusuteno hara huneranteno, Dagoni havi anumzantinena hara hunente.
And the men of Ashdod see that [it is] so, and have said, “The Ark of the God of Israel does not abide with us, for His hand has been hard on us, and on our god Dagon.”
8 Hagi Filistia mopafima mika 5fu'a kuma'ma kvama hu'naza vahezaga ke hutru hu'za amanage hu'naze, ama Israeli vahe Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisia na'a hugahune? Hazageno ana ranra kva vahetamimo'za kenona hu'za, Israeli vahe Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisia Gati kumate erita viho, hazage'za Israeli vahe Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisia eri'za Gati kumate vu'naze.
And they send and gather all the princes of the Philistines to them, and say, “What do we do to the Ark of the God of Israel?” And they say, “Let the Ark of the God of Israel be brought around to Gath”; and they bring around the Ark of the God of Israel;
9 Hianagi ana huhagerafi huvempage vogisima eri'za Gati kumate'ma vazageno'a, ana kumapi vahera ositeti'ma vuno ra vahete'ma vu'neana Ra Anumzamo'a azana rusuteno usagenkna ranra namunteti zamazeri haviza nehige'za tusi zamagogogu hu'naze.
and it comes to pass after they have brought it around, that the hand of YHWH is against the city—a very great destruction; and He strikes the men of the city, from small and to great; and lumps break forth on them.
10 Ana hige'za ana huhagerafi huvempage vogisia huzmantazage'za eri'za rankumate Ekroni vu'naze. Hianagi Ekroni vahe'mo'za rankege hu'za amanage hu'naze, Israeli vahe Ra Anumzamo'a vahetia zamahe friku higeta ama huhagerafi huvempage vogisia erita neaze.
And they send the Ark of God to Ekron, and it comes to pass, at the coming in of the Ark of God to Ekron, that the Ekronites cry out, saying, “They have brought around the Ark of the God of Israel to us, to put us and our people to death.”
11 Hagi miko Filistia ranra kva vahetamina ete ke hutru hu'za amanage hu'za zamasami'naze, amafintira Israeli vahe Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisia huzmantenke'za eri'za kuma'arega ometreho. Ana'ma osanazana tagri vahe'mo'za rama'a frigahaze. Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a azana rusuteno hara hunezmantege'za, ana kumapi vahe'mo'za fri'zankura tusi koro hu'naze.
And they send and gather all the princes of the Philistines, and say, “Send the Ark of the God of Israel away, and it turns back to its place, and it does not put us and our people to death”; for there has been a deadly destruction throughout all the city, the hand of God has been very heavy there,
12 Hagi zamahema ofri'nea vahera usagenkna namunteti zamazeri haviza hige'za zamaza huzankura krafage hazageno anagamu monarega mareri'ne.
and the men who have not died have been struck with lumps, and the cry of the city goes up into the heavens.
