< 1 Samue 3 >

1 Hagi Samueli'a mofavre mani'neno Elina aza huno Ra Anumzamofo avuga pristi eri'zana eri'ne. Hagi ana knafina rama'a kafufi Ra Anumzamo'a Israeli vahera keaga huozami'ne. Hagi magoke magoke knazupa, ava'nagna zana zamaveri hutere hu'ne.
Now the boy Samuel was ministering to the Lord before Eli, and the word of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no manifest vision.
2 Hagi Elina avumo'a agafa huno asu higeno keso'e osuno, mago kinaga Ra Anumzamofo nompi tafe'are mase'ne.
Then it happened that, on a certain day, Eli was lying in his place. And his eyes had dimmed, so that he was unable to see.
3 Hagi Ra Anumzamofo nompima lamu tavi'ma rekruma hunte'naza tavi'mo'a asura osu'negeno, Samueli'a Hanavenentake Ra Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage ante vogisima me'nea seli mono nompi mase'ne.
And so, to prevent the lamp of God from going out, Samuel was sleeping in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was.
4 Anante Ra Anumzamo'a Samuelina agihegeno, Samuelia kenona huno, Ama mani'noe.
And the Lord called Samuel. And responding, he said, “Here I am.”
5 Nehuno anampinti Samueli'a otino Elinte vuno, na'anku hanke'na oe, higeno Eli'a huno, Kagrira kea osu'noanki ete vunka umaso.
And he ran to Eli, and he said, “Here I am. For you called me.” And he said: “I did not call. Return and sleep.” And he went away, and he slept.
6 Hagi ete mago'ane Ra Anumzamo'a Samuelina agi higeno, Samueli'a otino Elinte vuno, Ama mani'noanki na'anku hankena oe, higeno Eli'a huno, Nagra kea osu'noanki mofavrenimoka vunka umaso.
And again, the Lord continued to call to Samuel. And rising up, Samuel went to Eli, and he said: “Here I am. For you called me.” And he responded: “I did not call you, my son. Return and sleep.”
7 Hagi Samueli'a Ra Anumzamofona keno antahinora osu'ne. Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a kora agritera eama huno keaga higeno keno antahino osu'negu, anara hu'ne.
Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, and the word of the Lord had not been revealed to him.
8 Hagi nampa 3 zupama Ra Anumzamo'a kema higeno'a, Samueli'a otino Elinte vuno, Kagrama kema hanana ama mani'noe huno ome asami'geno anante Eli'a antahi ama nehuno, Ra Anumzamo ama ana risera kea hunemie huno antahi'ne.
And the Lord continued, and he called to Samuel still a third time. And rising up, he went to Eli.
9 Hagi Eli'a anage huno Samuelina asami'ne, Ete vunka umasenegeno mago'enema kagima hanigenka, kenona huntenka Ra Anumzamoka eri'za vahekamo'na nentahuanki nasamio hunka huo, huno nesamino ete huntegeno Samueli'a vuno tafe'are umase'ne.
And he said: “Here I am. For you called me.” Then Eli understood that the Lord had called the boy. And he said to Samuel: “Go and sleep. And if he calls to you from now on, you will say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” Therefore, Samuel went away, and he slept in his place.
10 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a tavaonte eme otino ko'ma hu'neaza huno, Samueliwe, Samueliwe higeno Samueli'a huno, Ra Anumzamoka eri'za vahekamo'na nentahuanki nasamio.
And the Lord came, and stood, and he called, just as he had called the other times, “Samuel, Samuel.” And Samuel said, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.”
11 Higeno Ra Anumzamo'a Samuelina asamino, Antahio Nagra menina Israeli vahepina, antari hanazaza eri fore hugahuankino iza'o ana zamofo agenkema antahisimo'a antri nehuno na'a fore nehie huno hugahie.
And the Lord said to Samuel: “Behold, I am accomplishing a word in Israel. Whoever will hear about it, both his ears will ring.
In that day, I will raise up against Eli all the things that I have spoken over his house. I will begin, and I will finish.
13 Hagi Eli naga'ma zamazeri haviza hugahuema hu'na kore kema huzmante'noa kemo'a mevava huno vugahie. Na'ankure agri mofavre'mokea kefo zanavu'znavama nehake'na, zanazeri haviza hugahuema huankea, agra antahino keno hu'neanagi, haviza neha'e huno znazeri fatgohu kea ozanasami'ne.
For I have foretold to him that I will judge his house unto eternity, because of iniquity. For he had known that his sons acted shamefully, and he did not chastise them.
14 E'ina hu'negu Nagra huvempage huankino Eli naga'mo'zama kresramna hanaza ofaretiro, witi ofaretira nona hu'za kumi'zmia apaosegahaze.
For this reason, I have sworn to the house of Eli that the iniquity of his house will not be expiated, with victims or with gifts, even forever.”
15 Hagi anagema hutegeno'a Samueli'a vuno umase'negeno vuno ko'atune. Hagi nanterana Ra Anumzamofo mono nomofo kafana ko'ma nehiaza huno anagi'neanagi Ra Anumzamo'ma ava'nagna zampima asami'nea nanekema Elima asami'zankura Samueli'a koro hu'ne.
Then Samuel slept until morning, and he opened the doors of the house of the Lord. And Samuel was afraid to tell the vision to Eli.
16 Hianagi Eli'a kezatino, Nenamofo Samueliwe, higeno Samueli'a kenona huno, Ama mani'noe.
Then Eli called Samuel, and he said, “Samuel, my son?” And responding, he said, “I am here.”
17 Higeno Eli'a Samuelina antahigeno, Na'ane huno Ra Anumzamo'a kasaminefi ana nanekea magore hunka eri fra'okinka nasamio? Hagi kagrama ana mika nanekema eri frakisankeno'a Ra Anumzamo'a kagrira mago'ene knazana erinte agofetu huno kazeri haviza hugahie.
And he questioned him: “What is the word that the Lord has spoken to you? I beg you that you may not conceal it from me. May God do these things to you, and may he add these other things, if you hide from me one word out of all the things that were told to you.”
18 Anage higeno Samueli'a Ra Anumzamo'ma asami'nea nanekea maka asami vagaregeno, Eli'a ana kenona huno, Atregeno Agra'a Ra Anumzamoke agri'ma avesi'nia zana hino.
And so, Samuel revealed to him all the words, and he did not hide them from him. And he responded: “He is the Lord. May he do what is good in his own eyes.”
19 Anama hutegeno Ra Anumzamo'a Samueli'ene mani'negeno nena huno rana nehigeno, maka nanekema Samueli'ma hu'nea nanekemo'a amnezanknara osu'ne.
And Samuel grew up, and the Lord was with him, and not one of his words fell to the ground.
20 Hagi noti kaziga Dani kumateti agafa huteno, vuno sauti kaziga Bersiva kumate'ma mani'za uhanati'naza maka Israeli vahe'mo'za Samuelinkura Ra Anumzamofo kasnampa ne' efore hie hu'za hu'naze.
And all of Israel, from Dan even to Beersheba, knew Samuel to be a faithful prophet of the Lord.
21 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a Sailo kumatera seli mono nompi mago'ene Samuelintera efore huno kea eme asamitere hu'ne.
And the Lord continued to appear in Shiloh. For the Lord had revealed himself to Samuel at Shiloh, according to the word of the Lord. And the word about Samuel went forth to all of Israel.
