1 Hagi mago zupa Soli'a Gibea kumate mani'nege'za, Sifi kumate vahe'mo'za eme asami'za, Deviti'a Hakila agonafi Jesmonima avugosama hunte'nea kaziga frakino mani'ne.
Then the Ziphites came to Saul at Gibeah, saying, "Look, David is hiding himself on the hill of Hakilah, which is near Jeshimon."
2 Hazageno Soli'a 3 tauseni'a hanave Israeli sondia vahe zamavareno, Sifi ka'ma kokampi Devitinku hakenaku vu'ne.
Then Saul arose, and went down to the wilderness of Ziph, having three thousand chosen men of Israel with him, to seek David in the wilderness of Ziph.
3 Hagi Soli'a Jesmoni tava'onte Hakila agonafi seli nonku'ma ome kino mani'ne. Hianagi Deviti'a ka'ma kopi mani'neno, Soli'ma agriku'ma hakeno eazamofo kea nentahino,
Saul camped on the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon, near the road. But David stayed in the wilderness, and he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness.
David therefore sent out spies, and understood that Saul had certainly come.
5 Hagi anantetira Deviti'a otino Soli'ma seli nonkuma eme anteno mani'nerega vu'ne. Hagi Soli'ene sondia vahete kva ne'a Neri nemofo Abnakea Sondia vahe'mo'za masegagizageno amu'nompi masenakeno, Deviti'a ana kenagera rerakaureno ome zanage'ne.
David arose, and came to the place where Saul had camped; and David saw the place where Saul lay, and Abner the son of Ner, the captain of his army: and Saul lay within the place of the wagons, and the people were camped around him.
6 Hagi Deviti'a Hiti ne' Ahimelekine, Zeruia nemofo Joapu nefu Abisaikizni zanantahigeno, Iza navega hanige'na Soli'ma seli noma eme kino'ma mani'nerega uramigahue. Anage higeno Abisai'a huno, Nagra kagrane uramigahue.
Then answered David and said to Ahimelech the Hethite, and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother to Joab, saying, "Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp?" Abishai said, "I will go down with you."
So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, look, Saul lay sleeping within the place of the wagons, with his spear stuck in the ground at his head; and Abner and the people lay around him.
8 Hagi Abisai'a Devitina asamino, Menina Anumzamo'a ha' vaheka'a kazampi avrenteanki, natrege'na krugru kevereti magoke zupa reharuharu hu'na mopare rekamarenta'neno.
Then Abishai said to David, "God has delivered up your enemy into your hand this day. Now therefore please let me strike him with the spear to the earth at one stroke, and I will not strike him the second time."
9 Hianagi Deviti'a Abisaina asamino, Ohenka atro.
David said to Abishai, "Do not destroy him; for who can put forth his hand against the LORD's anointed, and be guiltless?"
10 Deviti'a mago'ane huno, Ra Anumzamo Agra'a ahe frise. Hagi ozafama resuno frige, hapi uraminige'za ahe frige hugahaze.
David said, "As the LORD lives, the LORD will strike him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall go down into battle and perish.
11 Hianagi Ra Anumzamofonte'ma masavema frenteno huhamprinte'nea nera ahefrio huno hu izora huonante'ne. Hagi menina Soli keve'ane tintafema'ane aseniregama me'neana erigeta amafintira atiramita va'maneno.
The LORD forbid that I should put forth my hand against the LORD's anointed; but now please take the spear that is at his head, and the jar of water, and let us go."
12 Hagi Soli asenirega me'nea kevene, tintafema'anena Deviti'a erigeke vu'na'e. Hagi anama ha'azana mago vahe'mo'e huno keno antahino osu'ne.
So David took the spear and the jar of water at his head, and they went away. And no one saw it or knew about it, nor did any awake. For they were all asleep, because a deep sleep from the LORD had fallen on them.
13 Hagi Deviti'a vuno mago agona kantu kaziga me'nea agonare afete ome oti'ne.
Then David crossed over to the other side and stood on the top of the hill some distance away; there was a great distance between them.
14 Ananteti Deviti'a Abnane sondia vahe'anena kezana atizamino, Abnaga antufina mani'nano, higeno Abna'a huno, Kagra izaga kini nemofonkura kezankea nehane.
And David called to the people, and to Abner, saying, "Will you not answer, Abner?" Then Abner replied, "Who are you that calls?"
15 Higeno Deviti'a huno, Abnaga kagri'ma kagatere'nea harafa vahera Israeli agu'afina iza mani'ne? Na'a higenka kini nera kegava huontankeno, ahenaku'ma nehia vahe'mo'a ahe'zana hu'ne?
David said to Abner, "Aren't you a man? Who is like you in Israel? Why then have you not kept watch over your lord, the king? For one of the people came in to destroy the king your lord.
16 Kagra knare kavukavara osane. Hagi kini ne'mofo aseniregama me'nea keve'ane tintafema'a iga me'nefi keho?
This thing isn't good that you have done. As the LORD lives, you are worthy to die, because you have not kept watch over your lord, the LORD's anointed. Now look, where is the king's spear, and where is the jar of water that was by his head?"
17 Higeno Soli'ma Deviti ageru'ma nentahino'a kezatino, nenamofoga Devitiga nehano. Higeno Deviti'a kenona huno, ranimoka, kini nera nagri nageru nentahine.
Saul knew David's voice, and said, "Is this your voice, my son David?" David said, "It is my voice, my lord, O king."
He said, "Why does my lord pursue after his servant? For what have I done? Or what evil is in my hand?
Now therefore, please let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it is so that God has stirred you up against me, let him accept an offering. But if it is from human beings, they are cursed before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day that I shouldn't cling to the LORD's inheritance, saying, 'Go, serve other gods.'
20 Hagi atregeno koranimo'a, Ra Anumzamofo tava'ontetira atreno ru mopafina tagi oramino. Hagi Israeli vahe kinimoka, kagra na'ante hinimagu hakeankna hunka nagrikura nehakenka, agonafi namagu hakeanknara nehane?
Now therefore, do not let my blood fall to the earth away from the presence of the LORD; for the king of Israel has come out to seek my life, as when one hunts a partridge in the mountains."
21 Anante Soli'a huno, Nagra kumi huanki nenamofo Divitiga mago'ane kagrira kazeri havizana osugahuanki ete eno.
Then Saul said, "I have sinned. Come back, my son David, for I will not harm you, because my life was precious in your eyes this day. Look, I have behaved foolishly, and have made a great mistake."
22 Hagi Deviti'a huno, kini ne'moka kevea ama me'neanki, mago nehaza ne' huntegeno eme erino.
And David answered and said, "Look, the king's spear. Now let one of the young men come over and get it.
23 Hagi fatgo zamavu'zmava nehu'za, kazigazi hu'za ke'ama amage'ma nentaza vahera, Ra Anumzamo'a ana zamavu'zamavatera mi'zana nezamie. Hagi menina Ra Anumzamo'a kagrira nazampi kavrenteanagi, kahe ofri'noe.
The LORD will render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness; because the LORD delivered you into my hand today, and I wouldn't put forth my hand against the LORD's anointed.
24 Hagi menina kagri'ma antahigami'na onkahorera, Ra Anumzamo'a antahinamino onaheno, miko hazenke zampintira naza hugahie.
Look, as your life was respected this day in my eyes, so let my life be respected in the eyes of the LORD, and let him deliver me out of all oppression."
25 Anante Soli'a Devitinku huno, Mofavrenimoka, Ra Anumzamo'a asomu hugante'nigenka ranraza nehunka, hara agateregahane. Anage huteke Deviti'a neviana, Soli'a kuma'arega ete vu'ne.
Then Saul said to David, "You are blessed, my son. You will accomplish much, and will surely be successful." So David went his way, and Saul returned to his place.
