1 Hagi Devitina eme asami'za, Keila kumate vahera Filistia vahe'mo'za ha' eme huzmante'za witima neharazafima eri atru hu'naza witizamia eri vagare'naze.
David was told, “Behold, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah, and are robbing the threshing floors.”
2 Hagi Deviti'a Ra Anumzamofona antahigeno, Knare vu'na Filistia vahera hara ome huzmantegahuo, higeno Ra Anumzamo'a Devitina asami'no, Amne vunka hara ome huzmantenka Keila vahera zamagu vazigahane.
Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go and strike these Philistines?” The LORD said to David, “Go strike the Philistines, and save Keilah.”
3 Hianagi Deviti'enema mani'naza vahe'mo'za amanage hu'naze, Antahio, tagra Judama manineta Filistia vahekura korora nehunankita, tagra Keila kumatera vuta rama'a Filistia vahera hara ome huozamantegosune.
David’s men said to him, “Behold, we are afraid here in Judah. How much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?”

Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. The LORD answered him, and said, “Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into your hand.”

David and his men went to Keilah and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their livestock, and killed them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.
6 Hagi pristi ne' Ahimeleki nemofo Abiata'a freno Devitintegama Keila kumategama nevuno'a, pristi vahe'mo'zama antanine'za Anumzamofo avesi'zama hake'za eri fore'ma nehaza kukena ifoti erineno, Ra Anumzamo'ma nanekema asami'nigu vu'ne.
When Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah, he came down with an ephod in his hand.
7 Hagi Deviti'ma Keila kumate mani'nea nanekema mago'a vahe'mo'za Solima eme asamizageno'a Soli'a huno, Ra Anumzamo'a nazampi avrente. Na'ankure Deviti'a agra'a avreno kinafi ufreankna huno hanave keginamo kagi'nea ra kumapina ufre'ne.
Saul was told that David had come to Keilah. Saul said, “God has delivered him into my hand, for he is shut in by entering into a town that has gates and bars.”
8 Anage higeno Soli'a maka Sondia vahezaga'a zamazeri atru huno nezamavareno, Devitine sondia vahe'ane avazagigagino zamahenaku Keila kumate urami'ne.
Saul summoned all the people to war, to go down to Keilah to besiege David and his men.
9 Hagi Deviti'ma antahiama Soli'ma ha'ma eme hunte'naku'ma kema retro'ma nehigeno'a, agra pristi ne' Abiatana asamino, 12fu'a havema me'nenege'za pristi vahe'mo'zama nentaniza kukena ifotia omerinka amare eno.
David knew that Saul was devising mischief against him. He said to Abiathar the priest, “Bring the ephod here.”
10 Hagi Deviti'a anage huno nunamuna hu'ne, Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzamoka kagri eri'za vahe'mo'na antahuana nagrama emani'noa zanku huno Soli'a Keila kumara eme erihaviza hu'naku ke retro nehia naneke nentahue.
Then David said, “O LORD, the God of Israel, your servant has surely heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah to destroy the city for my sake.
11 Hagi Keila kumate vahe'mo'za nagrira navre'za Soli ome amigahazafi? Hagi tamage huno Soli'a eri'za nekamo'na antahua kante anteno egahifi? Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzamoka muse hugantoanki eri'za nekamo'na nasamio. Higeno anante Ra Anumzamo'a huno, agra eramigahie.
Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? LORD, the God of Israel, I beg you, tell your servant.” The LORD said, “He will come down.”
12 Hagi mago'ane Deviti'a Ra Anumzamofona antahigeno, Keila vahe'mo'za nagri'ene eri'za vahe'nianena tavre'za Soli azampina ome antegahazafi? Higeno Ra Anumzamo'a huno, Ozo e'inara hugahaze.
Then David said, “Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul?” The LORD said, “They will deliver you up.”
13 Hagi Deviti'ene mika 600'a sondia vahe'anena Keilatira atre'za kumate manitere hu'za vu'naze. Hagi Soli'ma antahiama Deviti'a Keilatira atreno ko fre'ne ke'ma nentahino'a anantega ovu'ne.
Then David and his men, who were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah and went wherever they could go. Saul was told that David had escaped from Keilah; and he gave up going there.
14 Hagi Deviti'a Sifi kaziga me'nea ka'ma kopi ome frakino mani'ne. E'i ana kaziga umaninegeno Soli'a Devitina ahe'naku hakeno mika kna vano hu'neanagi, Ra Anumzamo'a atregeno Soli'a Devitina aze'ori'ne.
David stayed in the wilderness in the strongholds, and remained in the hill country in the wilderness of Ziph. Saul sought him every day, but God didn’t deliver him into his hand.
15 Hagi mago zupa Soli'a Horasi kaziga Sifi hagege kokampi frakino mani'nerega Soli'a ahe'naku nevia nanekea Deviti'a antahi'ne.
David saw that Saul had come out to seek his life. David was in the wilderness of Ziph in the woods.
16 Hagi Soli nemofo Jonatani'a Horesi kaziga vuno Devitina ome negeno Ra Anumzamofonte'ma hanavetino amentintima hu nanekea ome asamino azeri hanavenetino anage hu'ne,
Jonathan, Saul’s son, arose and went to David into the woods, and strengthened his hand in God.

He said to him, “Don’t be afraid, for the hand of Saul my father won’t find you; and you will be king over Israel, and I will be next to you; and Saul my father knows that also.”

They both made a covenant before the LORD. Then David stayed in the woods and Jonathan went to his house.
19 Hagi mago'a Sifi kumate vahe'mo'za Solina ome asami'za, Hakila agonafi Horesi kumamofo sauti kaziga Jesimoni Deviti'a frakino mani'ne hu'za hu'naze.
Then the Ziphites came up to Saul to Gibeah, saying, “Doesn’t David hide himself with us in the strongholds in the woods, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of the desert?
20 Hagi Kini ne'moka kagrama hana kante antenka eramigeta kazampina tagra'a avrentegahune.
Now therefore, O king, come down. According to all the desire of your soul to come down; and our part will be to deliver him up into the king’s hand.”
21 Hagi Soli'a amanage huno zamasmi'ne, Ra Anumzamo asomu huramantesie, na'ankure tamagra tamasunku hunantaze.
Saul said, “You are blessed by the LORD, for you have had compassion on me.
22 Hagi vuta mago'ene ome haketa e'ire mani'ne huta keho. Na'ankure nagra antahi'noe, agra ruzahu ne'kino reravatga hugahie.
Please go make yet more sure, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who has seen him there; for I have been told that he is very cunning.
23 Hagi mika framakino nemania kuma'a haketa erifore huso'e huteta, ame huta keaga atrenantenke'na eramineno. Hagi Juda kaziga inama'are manigahie nagra ome hake'na azerigahue.
See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hides himself; and come again to me with certainty, and I will go with you. It shall happen, if he is in the land, that I will search him out amongst all the thousands of Judah.”
24 Anage huzmantege'za zamagra Solina vugota hunte'za Sifi kumatega vu'naze. Hagi ana'ma nehazage'za Deviti naga'mo'za anampintira atre'za Jesimoni kumara sauti kaziga me'nege'za Maoni hagege kokampi Araba agupofi vu'naze.
They arose, and went to Ziph before Saul; but David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon, in the Arabah on the south of the desert.
25 Hagi Soli'ene sondia vahe'amo'za agafa hu'za Devitinku hake'naze. Hagi anama agriku'ma hakaza nanekea mago'a vahe'mo'za Devitina eme asmizageno, agra mago'ene vuno havege hu'nea kokampi Maoni ufrakino mani'ne. Hagi ana'ma hiazamofo nanekema Soli'ma nentahino'a otreno, avaririno anantega vu'ne.
Saul and his men went to seek him. When David was told, he went down to the rock, and stayed in the wilderness of Maon. When Saul heard that, he pursued David in the wilderness of Maon.
26 Hagi Soli'a mago agonamofona mago kazigama hakeno eneviana, Deviti'ene naga'amo'za ana agonamofona mago kaziga vu'naze. Hianagi Soli'a erava'o huno Devitina azeri'za hu'ne.
Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain; and David hurried to get away for fear of Saul, for Saul and his men surrounded David and his men to take them.
27 Hagi ana'ma hu'zama nevazageno'a kema eri'za vu vahe'mo'za Solina eme asami'za, Filistia vahe'mo'za ha eme hurante'za ku'ma eme ankanirazanki ame hunka eno hu'za hu'naze.
But a messenger came to Saul, saying, “Hurry and come, for the Philistines have made a raid on the land!”
28 Hagi Soli'ma Devitima avaririno nevia zana ome netreno, Filistia vahe ha' ome huzmante'naku vu'ne. E'ina agafare ana mopagura Sela Hamalekotie hu'naze. (Sela Hamalekotie hu'nazana Hibru kefina, atreno fre'nea have hu'ne).
So Saul returned from pursuing David, and went against the Philistines. Therefore they called that place Sela Hammahlekoth.
29 Anama huno Soli'a neviana, Deviti'ene naga'amo'za atre'za Engedi have kampi umani'naze.
David went up from there and lived in the strongholds of En Gedi.
