1 Hagi Deviti'ma Soli'enema ke'ma huvagaretegeno'a, henka Jonatani'a Devitina avesinenteno, agra'agu'ma avesinenteaza huno tusiza huno avesinte'ne.
And it cometh to pass, when he finisheth to speak unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan hath been bound to the soul of David, and Jonathan loveth him as his own soul.
2 Hagi ana knareti'ma vu'neana Soli'a Devitina atregeno nefa nontega ovu'neanki, azerigeno agrane mani'ne.
And Saul taketh him on that day, and hath not permitted him to turn back to the house of his father.
3 Hagi Jonatani'a hanavenentake huvempage Devitina hunte'ne. Na'ankure agra'aguma avesinenteaza huno tusiza huno Devitina avesinte'negu anara hu'ne.
And Jonathan maketh — also David — a covenant, because he loveth him as his own soul,
4 Hagi Jonatani'a za'za kukenama amegama antani'neana, Deviti hatenemino, ana agofetura ha' kukena'ane, bainati kazima'ane ati'ane amu nofi'anena ami'ne.
and Jonathan strippeth himself of the upper robe which [is] upon him, and giveth it to David, and his long robe, even unto his sword, and unto his bow, and unto his girdle.
5 Hagi nazankuro Soli'ma Devitinku'ma hugahane huno hiazana Deviti'a knare huno anazana higeno, Soli'a azeri antesga huno sondia vahete kva ante'ne. Hagi ana zankura maka vahe'mo'zane Soli eri'za vahe'mo'zanena muse hu'naze.
And David goeth out whithersoever Saul doth send him; he acted wisely, and Saul setteth him over the men of war, and it is good in the eyes of all the people, and also in the eyes of the servants of Saul.
6 Hagi Deviti'ma Filistia ne'ma ahetege'za ha'ma huzmagaterete'za ete kumategama azageno'a, maka Israeli kumapinti a'mofa'mo'za nasenasepane, hapu zavenane eri'za ahe'za muse hu'za avo nehage'za Solina amarara hu'naze.
And it cometh to pass, in their coming in, in David's returning from smiting the Philistine, that the women come out from all the cities of Israel to sing — also the dancers — to meet Saul the king, with tabrets, with joy, and with three-stringed instruments;
7 Hagi ana a'mofa'mo'za zavena nehe'za anage hu'za zagamera hu'naze, Soli'a 1tauseni'a ha' vahe zamahegeno, Deviti'a 10 tauseni'a ha' vahe zamahe'ne.
and the women answer — those playing, and say, 'Saul hath smitten among his thousands, And David among his myriads.'
8 Hagi ana zagamema Soli'a nentahino'a, tusi arimpa ahegeno amanage hu'ne, Zamagra zagamema hazana Devitinkura rama'a 10tauseni'a aheneanki, nagrikura 1tauseni'a ahene hu'za nehaze. Hagi agra maka zantamina erineno, nagri no erino kini mani'naku hige'za e'inahu zagamera hu'naze.
And it is displeasing to Saul exceedingly, and this thing is evil in his eyes, and he saith, 'They have given to David myriads, and to me they have given the thousands, and more to him [is] only the kingdom;'
9 Hagi ana knareti'ma vu'neana Deviti'ma kini tra'ama erizanku Soli'a kaniverenteno vu'ne.
and Saul is eyeing David from that day and thenceforth.
10 Hagi anante knazupa Anumzamo'a havi avamu huntegeno Solintera hanavetino eno eme azeri haviza higeno, noma'afi mani'neno neginagi nehuno azampina karugru keve e'rinegeno, Deviti'a nehiaza huno zavena azampi azeri'neno ahe'ne.
And it cometh to pass, on the morrow, that the spirit of sadness [from] God prospereth over Saul, and he prophesieth in the midst of the house, and David is playing with his hand, as day by day, and the javelin [is] in the hand of Saul,
11 Hagi Soli'a karugru kevereti Devitina nozafare renarente'nue huno nentahino, karugru keve matevuno reana hantaga higeno, Deviti'a atreno fre'ne. Hagi e'inahu'zana tare zupa hu'ne.
and Saul casteth the javelin, and saith, 'I smite through David, even through the wall;' and David turneth round out of his presence twice.
12 Hagi Soli'a Devitinkura koro hu'ne. Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a Solina atreno Deviti'ene mani'ne.
And Saul is afraid of the presence of David, for Jehovah hath been with him, and from Saul He hath turned aside;
13 Hagi Soli'a Devitina tavaoma'aretira azeri netreno 1tauseni'a sondia vahe kva manio huno huntegeno, sondia vahe zamavareno hate vu'ne.
and Saul turneth him aside from him, and appointeth him to himself head of a thousand, and he goeth out an cometh in, before the people.
14 Hagi hakarezama Deviti'ma hu'nea zamo'a knare ke'za hu'ne. Na'ankure Ra Anumzamo'a agrane mani'negeno'e.
And David is in all his ways acting wisely, and Jehovah [is] with him,
15 Hagi Soli'ma keno antahino'ma hiama Deviti'ma hiazamo'ma knare zanke higeno'a, Soli'a mago'ane tusi koro hu'ne.
and Saul seeth that he is acting very wisely, and is afraid of him,
16 Hianagi miko Israeli vahe'ene Juda vahe'mo'za Devitina zamavesinte'naze. Na'ankure agra knare huno sondia vahera hatera zamavareno vuno eno hu'ne.
and all Israel and Judah love David when he is going out and coming in before them.
17 Hagi mago zupa Soli'a anage huno Devitinkura hu'ne, Kota mofa'ni'a Merapuna kaminugenka a' erintegahane. Hianagi kotazana kagrama hanavetinka Ra Anumzamofo ha'ma hanunka, ana ara erigahane. Na'ankure Soli'a antahi'zama'afina Devitina nagra'a nazanura ahe ofrisuanki, Filistia vahe'mo'za hara hunte'za ahe frisaze huno antahi'ne.
And Saul saith unto David, 'Lo, my elder daughter Merab — her I give to thee for a wife; only, be to me for a son of valour, and fight the battles of Jehovah;' and Saul said, 'Let not my hand be on him, but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him.'
18 Hagi Deviti'a kenona hunteno, Nagra knarera osugeno, Israeli vahepina naga'nimokizmia zamagia omane vahe mani'nazanki'na, kini ne'moka mofara ara erigara osu'noe.
And David saith unto Saul, 'Who [am] I? and what my life — the family of my father in Israel — that I am son-in-law to the king?'
19 Hagi Soli'a Merapuna Deviti ara erintegahie huno hu'neanagi, anama zanazeri aravema hunaku'ma hia zupa, Soli'a mofa'a Merapuna omi netreno, Mehola kumate ne' Adrieli avremigeno ara eri'ne.
And it cometh to pass, at the time of the giving of Merab daughter of Saul to David, that she hath been given to Adriel the Meholathite for a wife.
20 Hagi ana knafina Mikeli'a Solina mago mofa'agino, Devitima avesintea kea Solina eme asamizageno'a muse nehuno,
And Michal daughter of Saul loveth David, and they declare to Saul, and the thing is right in his eyes,
21 Anage hu'ne, nagra ana mofania Devitina aminugeno ara erino, nenanemo'zana hanige'na, huntenugeno vuno Filistia vahe'ene hara ome nehanige'za ahegahaze. Nehuno Soli'a Devitina asamino, Menina mago'ene nagri mofara erinka nenanemo'zana hugahane.
and Saul saith, 'I give her to him, and she is to him for a snare, and the hand of the Philistines is on him;' and Saul saith unto David, 'By the second — thou dost become my son-in-law to-day.'
22 Hagi Soli'a eri'za vahe'a huzamanteno anage hu'ne, vuta Devitina agrake'ma mani'nenigeta ome asamita, Soli'a agrane mika eri'za vahe'anena muse hugantazanki, kagra mofa'a a' erintenka nenemo'za huo huta ome asamiho.
And Saul commandeth his servants, 'Speak unto David gently, saying, Lo, the king hath delighted in thee, and all his servants have loved thee, and now, be son-in-law to the king.'
23 Higeno ana nenekea Devitina ome asamizageno, Deviti'a anage huno kenona huzamante'ne, Tamagra tamagesa antahi'zana kini ne'mofo nenemozama hu'zana osi'za me'ne hutma nehazo? Nagra nagi omne namunte omane ne' mani'noe.
And the servants of Saul speak in the ears of David these words, and David saith, 'Is it a light thing in your eyes to be son-in-law to the king — and I a poor man, and lightly esteemed?'
24 Hagi Soli eri'za vahe'mo'zama Deviti'ma hu'nea nanekema eri'za ome nesamizageno'a,
And the servants of Saul declare to him, saying, 'According to these words hath David spoken.'
25 Soli'a mago'ane eri'za vahe'a huzamanteno, amanage huta Devitina ome asamiho, Mofanima mizama hunaku'ma haniana 100'a Filistia venenemokizmi zamagoza anoma'a zamaheno taga huno egahie huno hu'ne huta ome asamiho. Hianagi Solima agesama antahiana ha' ome nehanigeno ahesaze huno antahi'ne.
And Saul saith, 'Thus do ye say to David, There is no delight to the king in dowry, but in a hundred foreskins of the Philistines — to be avenged on the enemies of the king;' and Saul thought to cause David to fall by the hand of the Philistines.
26 Hagi Soli eri'za vahe'mo'zama ana nanekema Devitima eme asamizageno'a Deviti'a muse ana nanekerera hu'neanagi, anama knama ante'nea kna eohanati'negeno,
And his servants declare to David these words, and the thing is right in the eyes of David, to be son-in-law to the king; and the days have not been full,
27 Deviti'ene sondia vahe'amo'za vu'za 200'a Filistia vene'ne ome zamahe'za, zamagoza anona taga huno erino kini ne' eme ami'ne. Ana higeno kini ne'mo'a mofa'a Mikelina amigeno Deviti'a ara erino kini ne'mofo nenemo'za hu'ne.
and David riseth and goeth, he and his men, and smiteth among the Philistines two hundred men, and David bringeth in their foreskins, and they set them before the king, to be son-in-law to the king; and Saul giveth to him Michal his daughter for a wife.
28 Hagi Soli'ma antahino kenoma hiama Ra Anumzamo'ma Deviti'ene manigeno, mofa'amo Mikeli'ma Devitima avesintegeno'a,
And Saul seeth and knoweth that Jehovah [is] with David, and Michal daughter of Saul hath loved him,
29 Soli'a mago'ane tusi koro Devitinkura nehuno, hara renteno vu'ne.
and Saul addeth to be afraid of the presence of David yet; and Saul is an enemy with David all the days.
30 Hagi Filistia sondia vahe'mofo kva vahe'mo'za sondia vahera rama'a zupa zamavare'za e'za Israeli vahera hara eme huzamante'naze. Hianagi ana'ma hu'za Soli sondia vahe'ma ha'ma eme hunezamantageno'a, Deviti'a knare huno hara huzamagatenerege'za maka vahe'mo'za antahi'za ke'za nehu'za, Devitina ra agi ami'naze.
And the princes of the Philistines come out, and it cometh to pass from the time of their coming out, David hath acted more wisely than any of the servants of Saul, and his name is very precious.
