1 Samue 11
1 Hagi mago'agna evutegeno, Amoni kini ne' Nahasi'a sondia vahe'a zamavarege'za, Israeli vahepi me'nea kuma Jabes-Kiriati ome avazagi kagizageno, ana kumapima mani'naza Jabesi-Kiriati vahe'mo'za Nahasina asami'za, kagrane huhagerafi huvempage hanunkenka kegava hurante'nanketa kagri eri'za vahe manigahune.
Then came up Nachash the 'Ammonite, and encamped against Yabesh-gil'ad: and all the men of Yabesh said unto Nachash, Make a covenant with us, and we will serve thee.
2 Hagi Nahasi'a kenonazmirera anage hu'ne, tamagranema huhagerafi kema hanuana, nagra maka vahe'mota tamaga kaziga tamavurga tagati atregahue. Ana hanugeno Israeli vahe'mo'za zamagazegu hugahaze.
And Nachash the 'Ammonite said unto them, On this condition will I make it with you, that ye all have put out the right eye, that I may lay it as a reproach upon all Israel.
3 Hagi Jabesi kumate ranra vahe'mo'za ananke nona'a Nahasina amanage hu'za asami'naze, 7ni'a zagegna tavega ante'nenketa, Israeli vahe'mo'zama eme taza hu'za tagumavazi'nagura kato vahera huzmantamnena kea eri'za vu'za Israeli vahera ome zamasamiho. Hagi zamagrama eme taza osanazana, nazano tamagrama hurantenaku'ma hazazana tamagrite maka'mota esunketa hurantegahaze.
And the elders of Yabesh said unto him, Grant us seven days' respite, that we may send messengers throughout all the boundary of Israel; and then, if there be none to save us, will we come out to thee.
4 Hagi Nahasi'ma ana kere'ma hu izo'ma hige'za, Jabesi vahe'mo'za mago'a vahe huzamantage'za Soli kumatega Gibea kea eri'za vu'naze. Hagi ana ke'ma ome nezamasamige'za, miko vahe'mo'za nentahi'za ranke hu'za zavira ate'naze.
And the messengers came to Gib'ah of Saul, and spoke the words in the ears of the people; and all the people lifted up their voice, and wept.
5 Hagi anama hu'za zavi krafama nehazageno'a, Soli'a hozaregati eri'zama e'neria bulimakaoma'ane ne-eno eme nezamageno anage hu'ne, naza fore hu'negeta miko vahe'mota zavira netaze, huno zamantahigege'za? Jabesi vahe'mo'za hu'naza kea agrira asami'naze.
And, behold, Saul was coming after the herds out of the field; and Saul said, What aileth the people that they weep? And they told him the words of the men of Yabesh.
6 Hagi Soli'ma anankema nentahigeno'a Ra Anumzamofo Avamu'mo'a agritera hanavetino egeno, Solina tusi arimpa ahe'ne.
And the spirit of God came suddenly over Saul when he heard these words, and his anger was kindled greatly,
7 Hagi Soli'a tare bulimakao'a aheno tagarago huno eri nezamino, ama ame'a erita nevuta, mika Israeli vahera amanage huta nanekea ome zamasamiho. Iza'o Soline Samuelinema amage'ma ontesimofona, ama bulimakaonte'ma fore'ma hianknaza fore humigahie. Hige'za ana nanekema nentahizageno'a Ra Anumzamo'a zamazeri zamagogofege'za miko vahe'mo'za eri mago hu'za eme atru hu'naze.
And he took a yoke of oxen, and cut them in pieces, and sent them about throughout all the boundary of Israel by the hand of the messengers, saying, Whosoever goeth not forth after Saul and after Samuel, shall have his herds thus treated. And the dread of the Lord fell on the people, and they went out as one man.
8 Hagi ana vahe'mo'za Bezeke kumate'ma azageno Soli'ma zamazeri ante fatgoma huno'ma hampri'neana, Israeli sondia vahera 300 tauseni'a sondia vahe manizageno, Juda sondia vahera 30 tauseni'a sondia vahe mani'naze.
And he numbered them in Bezek; and the children of Israel were three hundred thousand, and the men of Judah thirty thousand.
9 Hagi anama hute'za kema eri'za e'naza vahera amanage hu'za huzmante'naze, oki'na zagema hanatino mareri'nenigeno tamaza hu'zana fore hugahie huta Jabes vahera ome zamasamiho. Hagi ana nanekema eme zamasamizage'za Jabesi vahe'mo'za tusi muse hu'naze.
And they said unto the messengers that were come, Thus shall ye say unto the men of Yabesh-gil'ad, Tomorrow shall ye have help, when the sun shineth hot. And the messengers came and told it to the men of Yabesh; and these were glad.
10 Anante Jabesi vahe'mo'za Nahasina asami'za, okina tagra atiramisunketa nazano hurantenaku'ma hanaza zana hurantegahaze.
And the men of Yabesh said, Tomorrow will we go out unto you, and ye can do unto us in accordance with all that seemeth good in your eyes.
11 Hagi kora otu'negeno nanterame Soli'a sondia vahera 3'a kevu refako hige'za, Amori vahe kumapi ufre'za ha' huzmante'za bainati kazinknonteti zamahe'za rukafri makafri nehazageno vuno feruse'ne. Ana hazage'za osi'ama maniza Amori vahe'mo'za panani hu'za ufre efre hu'naze.
And it happened on the morrow, that Saul put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the camp in the morning watch, and they smote the 'Ammonites until the heat of the day: and it came to pass, that those that remained were scattered, and no two among them were left together.
12 Hagi ana hute'za Samuelina antahige'za, ina vahe'mo'za hu'za Soli'a kva huorantegahie hu'za hu'naze? Zamavreta amare enketa zamahe frimneno.
And the people said unto Samuel, Who is there that saith, Shall Saul reign over us? give up the men, and we will put them to death.
13 Hianagi Soli'a kenona huno, magore huta Israeli vahera zamahe ofrigahune. Na'ankure menina Ra Anumzamo'a Israeli vahera zamahokeno zamavare'ne.
And Saul said, There shall not a man be put to death on this day; for today the Lord hath wrought deliverance in Israel.
14 Hagi Samueli'a huno, enketa Gilgali vuta ete mago'ane hu'ama huta Soli'a kini mani'ne huta eri hanavetita vahera zamasamisune.
And Samuel said to the people, Come and let us go to Gilgal, and renew there the choice of the king.
15 Hige'za miko vahe'mo'za Gilgali vu'za Ra Anumzamofo avuga Soli'a kini mani'ne hu'za mago'ene azeri hanaveti kea hu'naze. Hagi anantega arimpa fru ofa nehu'za, Soli'ene mika Israeli vahe'mo'za tusi musenkase hu'naze.
And all the people went to Gilgal; and they appointed there Saul as king before the Lord in Gilgal; and they sacrificed there sacrifices of peace-offerings before the Lord; and Saul with all the men of Israel rejoiced there very greatly.
