1 Hagi e'ina hu'negu tamagra vahe'ma azeri havizahu avu'avazane, havige hu'zane, tavrenke hu'zane, kenunu hu avu'ava'zane, vahe'mofo amefi ke hu'zana netretma,
Rid yourselves, therefore, of all malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander.

As you come to Him, the living stone, rejected by men but chosen and precious in God’s sight,

you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
6 Na'ankure anage huno avontafepina me'ne, Keho Zaioni agonarera marerisa have huhamprintoankino, nomofo renagentete azeri hanaveti have me'ne. Hanki iza'o Agrite'ma amentinti hanimo'a, agaze osugahie hu'ne. (Ais 28:16.)
For it stands in Scripture: “See, I lay in Zion a stone, a chosen and precious cornerstone; and the one who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”
7 Hanki tamagrama tamentintima haza vahe'motarera, ana havemo'a mrerisa have me'ne. Hianagi iza'zo zamentintima nosaza vahetera, Nogi vahe'mo'za zamavresara higeza atraza havemo'a, nomofo renagentepinka azeri hanaveti have fore nehuno, (Sam-Zga 118:22)
To you who believe, then, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,”
8 zamagigo zamino zamazeri tanafa nehuno, zamazeri traka hu have fore hu'ne. (Ais 8:14) Na'ankure zamagra trakama nehazana, ke'arera amagera nontazanki'za, traka hu'za haviza hugahaze.

9 Hianagi Anumzamo tamagrira huhampriramante'nea naga mani'neta, kinimofo pristi naga mani'neta, ruotge hu'nea naga mani'nazageno, Anumzamo'ma Nagri nagare huno hu'nea naga mani'nazankita, Anumzamo'ma hanimpinti'ma tamagima huno, ruzahu masazama'are'ma tamante'nea so'ezama'agura huama hugahaze.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, to proclaim the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
10 Hianagi kora tamagra Anumzamofo vahera omani'nazanagi, menina Anumzamofo vahe mani'naze. Tamagra Anumzamofo asunkuzana e'orinazanagi, menina tamagra Anumzamofo asunkuzana eri'naze.
Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
11 Hagi navesima neramantoa nenafugta, tamagra zoka vahe mopazmi omne vahekna hutma ama mopafina mani'naze. E'ina hu'negu, tamavufamofo havi avesizamo'ma ha'ma reneramantea zampina uofreho hu'na nagra huneramasamue.
Beloved, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from the desires of the flesh, which war against your soul.
12 Hagi maka kna tamagra megi'a vahe'mokizmi amu'nompima mani'netma, knare tamavutmava nehinke'za, zamagrama huhavizama huramantesu'za, knare tamavu'tamavaza zamagra nege'za, Anumzamo'ma refkoma hania knarera, ana tamavutamava hu'naza zankura, Agi erisaga hugahaze.
Conduct yourselves with such honor among the Gentiles that, though they slander you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day He visits us.
13 Tamagra Ramofonku hutma, maka kamani vahe'mofo kea amage nentetma, kini vahera ugagota hu'nagu, kezmia antahitama amage nentetma,
Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to the king as the supreme authority,

or to governors as those sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to praise those who do right.
15 Na'ankure e'inahu tamavutmavama hanazana Anumzamofo avesiza avaririta fatgo nehanageno, ke ontahi neginagi zmavuzmavama nehaza vahe'mo'za kea osugahaze.
For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorance of foolish men.

Live in freedom, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God.
17 Maka vaheku husga hunezmantetma, maka zamentintima nehaza tamafuhe'ina zmavesinezmantetma, Anumzamofonku kore hunentetma, kini vahe'mokizmi zamagorga maniho.
Treat everyone with high regard: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.
18 Eri'za vahe'motma, kegavama huramante'nesaza vahe'mokizmia kore huzmantetma zamagorga nemanitma, fru hu'za knare'ma huramante'naza kva vahe'mokizmi zamagorgagera nemanita, havizama huramantesaza kva vahe'mokizminena zamagorga maniho.
Servants, submit yourselves to your masters with all respect, not only to those who are good and gentle, but even to those who are unreasonable.
19 Tamagrama Anumzamofonte'ma fatgo tamagu tamagesa antahitama mani'nenageno, havigema huramante'za tamazeri havizama hanazana, Anumzamo asomu huramantegahie.
For if anyone endures the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God, this is to be commended.
20 Tamagrama haviza hu'nenage'za, havizamofo nona hu'za tamazeri haviza hanazana, mago knare'zana e'origahaze. Hianagi tamagrama knare tamavu'tamavazama nehanage'za, tamazeri havizama hanazana, Anumzamo'a asomu huramantegahie.
How is it to your credit if you are beaten for doing wrong and you endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.
21 Na'ankure tamagrira ana knaza erisazegu tamagi hu'ne. Kraisi enena anahukna huno atazana erino huraveri hu'neankita, Agrama hu'neankna tavutava huta avaririgahune.
For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in His footsteps:
22 Agra kumira osuno, mago havigea agipintira osu'ne. (Ais 53:9)
“He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in His mouth.”
23 Hanki Agri'ma huhavizama huntageno'a, zamagrira nona huno huhavizana huozmante'ne, Agri'ma azeri havizama huntageno'a, zamagrira nona huozmanteno zamazeri havizahu kea osuno, Anumzamo fatgo huno refko nehimofo antahi nemino, ana knazana Agri azampi ante'ne.
When they heaped abuse on Him, He did not retaliate; when He suffered, He made no threats, but entrusted Himself to Him who judges justly.
24 Agra avufare kumiti erino rugeka zafare hantinegu, tagra kumi'ma hu'zampina nefrita, fatgo tavutava'ma huzampina, kasefa huta manigahune. Na'ankure Agri avufgama aguzama ru'nazazamo, tagrira tazeri so'e hu'ne.
He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. “By His stripes you are healed.”
25 Na'ankure tamagra sipisipi afukna hutma hazagre'nazanagi, menina tamagra rukrehe hutma sipisipi kva ne, tamagu tamemofo kva Nete e'naze.
For “you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
