Then the dayes of Dauid drewe neere that he should die, and hee charged Salomon his sonne, saying,

2 Kofta hu'na nagra frigahue. Hagi ve mofavremo'ma nehiaza hunka oti hanavetinenka,

I go the way of all the earth: be strong therefore, and shew thy selfe a man,

3 Ra Anumzana kagri Anumzamo'ma huoma hania zana nehunka, maka avu'ava'a avaririo. Hagi Mosese avontafepima krente'nea tra ke'ane, kasege'anema kegava hunka avaririsankeno'a, maka zama hanana zamo'ene, kama vanana kamo'a knare hugahie.

And take heede to the charge of the Lord thy God, to walke in his wayes, and keepe his statutes, and his commandements, and his iudgements, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and in euery thing whereunto thou turnest thee,

4 Hagi ana'ma hanankeno'a Ra Anumzamo'ma huhamprinante'nea kemo'a nena raga regahie. Agra amanage huno hu'ne, Ne' mofavreka'amo'zama vahe'ma maniga kante nemaniza, maka zupa kazigazi hu'za miko tumozimireti'ene, zamagu zamenteti'ma hu'za navaririsazana Israeli vahete'ma kinima mani vahekura ohakegosazanki, kagri mofavre nagapinti mago zimimo kinia otitere hugahie huno nasami'ne.

That the Lord may confirme his worde which hee spake vnto me, saying, If thy sonnes take heede to their way, that they walke before me in trueth, with all their hearts, and with all their soules, thou shalt not (sayd he) want one of thy posteritie vpon the throne of Israel.

5 Hagi Zeruia nemofo Joapu'ma hunante'nea avu'avazamofo kea antahi'nane. Agra tare Israeli sondia kva netrena, Neri nemofo Abnane, Jeta nemofo Amasakigiznia zanahe fri'ne. Thou knowest also what Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captaines of the hostes of Israel, vnto Abner the sonne of Ner, and vnto Amasa the sonne of Iether: whome he slewe, and shed blood of battell in peace, and put the blood of warre vpon his girdle that was about his loynes, and in his shooes that were on his feete.

Doe therefore according to thy wisdome, and let thou not his hoare head go downe to the graue in peace. (Sheol h7585)

7 Hagi Giliati ne' Basilai ne'mofavreramina zamatrege'za kagranema nezama nenaza traka'areti'ma nenaza naga'ene neho. Na'ankure negafu Absalomunkuma koro'ma fre'na nevugeno'a, zamagra knare zamavu'zamava nagrira hunante'naze.

But shew kindnes vnto the sonnes of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be among them that eate at thy table: for so they came to me when I fled from Absalom thy brother.

8 Hagi Bahurimi kumateti Benzameni nagapinti ne' Gera nemofo Simeinkura kagera okanio. Agra Mahanaimi kumate'ma nevugeno'a kazusi ke hunanteno nazeri haviza hu'ne. Hianagi Jodani tinte'ma eme nege'na Ra Anumzamofo avufi huvempa hunte'na amanage hu'noe, Kahe ofrigosue hu'na hu'noe.

And beholde, with thee is Shimei the sonne of Gera, the sonne of Iemini, of Bahurim, which cursed mee with an horrible curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim: but hee came downe to meete me at Iorden, and I sware to him by the Lord, saying, I will not slay thee with the sword.

But thou shalt not count him innocent: for thou art a wise man, and knowest what thou oughtest to doe vnto him: therefore thou shalt cause his hoare head to goe downe to the graue with blood. (Sheol h7585)

10 Hagi anante Deviti'a frige'za agri rankumapi Jerusalemi asente'naze.

So Dauid slept with his fathers, and was buried in the citie of Dauid.

And the dayes which Dauid reigned vpon Israel, were fourtie yeeres: seuen yeeres reigned he in Hebron, and thirtie and three yeeres reigned he in Ierusalem.

Then sate Salomon vpon the throne of Dauid his father, and his kingdome was stablished mightily.

And Adonijah the sonne of Haggith came to Bath-sheba the mother of Salomon: and she saide, Commest thou peaceably? And hee said, Yea.

He said moreouer, I haue a sute vnto thee. And she sayd, Say on.

Then he said, Thou knowest that the kingdome was mine, and that all Israel set their faces on me, that I should reigne: howbeit the kingdome is turned away, and is my brothers: for it came to him by the Lord.

16 Hanki nagra menina magoke zanku kantahigegahue. Muse hugantoanki ama ana keni'a antahinamio, higeno Batseba'a amanage huno hu'ne, Hugena antahineno huno hu'ne.

Nowe therefore I aske thee one request, refuse me not. And she said vnto him, Say on.

17 Anagema higeno'a Adoniza'a amanage huno asami'ne, Muse hugantoanki kini ne' Solomonina antahigegeno, Sunamiti a' Abisakina naminkena a' eri'neno. Na'ankure kagrama hananankea antahigahie.

And he sayd, Speake, I pray thee, vnto Salomon ye King, (for he will not say thee nay) that he giue me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.

18 Higeno Batseba'a amanage huno asami'ne, Knareki'na kagri kea eri'na kini nera ome antahigegahue.

And Bath-sheba sayd, Well, I will speake for thee vnto the King.

19 Anage nehuno Batseba'a Adoniza agi erino Solomonina ome antahigenaku vu'ne. Hagi kini ne' Solomoni'ma Batsebama negeno'a, otino arena reno kepri nehuno, eri'za vahe'a kehige'za mago trara eri'za azantmaga kaziga eme antazageno, nerera'a ana trate mani'ne.

Bath-sheba therefore went vnto King Salomon, to speake vnto him for Adonijah: and the King rose to meete her, and bowed himselfe vnto her, and sate downe on his throne: and he caused a seate to be set for the Kings mother, and she sate at his right hand.

Then she sayd, I desire a small request of thee, say me not nay. Then the King sayde vnto her, Aske on, my mother: for I will not say thee nay.

She sayd then, Let Abishag the Shunammite be giuen to Adonijah thy brother to wife.

22 Anagema higeno'a kini ne' Solomoni'a amanage hu'ne, Nagafare Sunemiti ara Abisakina Adonizana amio hunka eme nantahinegane? E'ina'ma hunaku'ma hanunka fatgo hunka nantahigege'na atranenkeno nagri no erino kinia manino. Na'ankure agra nempuni'a manigeno agri kaziga pristi ne' Abiata'ene, Seruia nemofo Joapukea mani'na'e.

But King Salomon answered and sayd vnto his mother, And why doest thou aske Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? aske for him the kingdome also: for he is mine elder brother, and hath for him both Abiathar the Priest, and Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah.

23 Anage nehuno Solomoni'a Ra Anumzamofo avufi amanage huno huvempagea hu'ne. Adoniza'ma amanahu ke'ma hire'ma ahe ofrisugeno'a Anumzamo'a nagrira nahe frigahie!

Then King Salomon sware by the Lord, saying, God doe so to me and more also, if Adoniiah hath not spoken this worde against his owne life.

24 E'ina hu'negu menina Ra Anumzamo'ma naza huno hankave naminege'na nenfa Deviti kini trate'ma nagri naga'ma huhampri'nea kante'ma ante'na kini tratera mani'ne'na mani vava Anumzamofo agifi huankino, Adoniza'a meninke frigahie.

Now therefore as ye Lord liueth, who hath established me, and set me on the throne of Dauid my father, who also hath made me an house, as he promised, Adoniiah shall surely die this day.

25 Anage nehuno kini ne' Solomoni'a Jehoiada nemofo Benaia huntegeno vuno, Adonizana ome ahegeno fri'ne.

And King Salomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada, and hee smote him that he dyed.

26 Hagi kini ne'mo'a pristi ne' Abiatana amanage huno asami'ne, kagra ete mopakarega Anatoti vuo. Hianagi menina kagrira kahe ofrigahue. Na'ankure kagra nenfa Deviti'ene mani'nenka Ra Anumzana hankavenentake Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisi e'nerinka, nenfa'ma hazenke knafima mani'negenka aza hunka nenfa knazana eri'nane.

Then the King sayd vnto Abiathar the Priest, Go to Anathoth vnto thine owne fieldes: for thou art worthy of death: but I will not this day kill thee, because thou barest the Arke of the Lord God before Dauid my father, and because thou hast suffered in all, wherein my father hath bene afflicted.

27 E'inage nehuno kini ne'mo'a Ra Anumzamo'ma Sailo kumate Eli naga'ma kasnampa ke huzamante'nea kante anteno Abiatana pristi eri'zama'afintira ahenati'ne.

So Salomon cast out Abiathar from being Priest vnto the Lord, that he might fulfill the wordes of the Lord, which he spake against the house of Eli in Shiloh.

28 Hagi Joapu'a Absalomu'ma kinima mani'naku'ma nehigeno'a agri'enena tragoteno mani'neno aza osu'ne. Hianagi Adoniza'ma kinima mani'zama nehigeno'a, Adoniza'ene ome tragoteno mani'neno aza hu'ne. E'ina hu'neankino Adonizama ahaza nanekema nentahino'a, freno vuno ruotge seli mono nompi Ra Anumzamofo kre sramnavu itare'ma me'nea pazivetaminte ome azeriteno mani'ne.

Then tidings came to Ioab: (for Ioab had turned after Adoniiah, but he turned not after Absalom) and Ioab fled vnto the Tabernacle of the Lord, and caught hold on the hornes of the altar.

29 Hagi kini ne' Solomonina ome asami'za amanage hu'naze, Joapu'a freno vuno Ra Anumzamofo seli mono no kumapi kre sramnavu itare'ma me'nea pazivete ome azerintrako huteno mani'ne. Hagi ana nanekema nentahino'a Solomoni'a Jehoiada nemofo Benaia hunteno, Joapuna ome ahegeno frino!

And it was tolde king Salomon, that Ioab was fled vnto the Tabernacle of the Lord, and beholde, he is by the altar. Then Salomon sent Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada, saying, Goe, fall vpon him.

30 Anagema higeno'a Benaia'a Ra Anumzamofo seli nompi eazamo amanage huno Joapuna eme asami'ne, Kini ne'mo'a fegi atiramio huno hianki fegia atiramio. Hianagi Joapu'a amanage huno hu'ne, I'o nagra ama anante frigahue. Hagi agrama hia nanekea erino vuno Joapu'a anage hie huno kini nera ome asami'ne.

And Benaiah came to the Tabernacle of the Lord, and sayd vnto him, Thus sayth the King, Come out. And he sayde, Nay, but I will die here. Then Benaiah brought the King worde againe, saying, Thus sayd Ioab, and thus he answered me.

31 Kini ne'mo'a amanage huno kenona hu'ne, Knareki agri ke avaririnka anante ome ahegeno frina asentegeno Joapu'ma hazenke'a omane vahe'ma zamahe'nea kanazamo'a tagritera omaneno.

And the King sayde vnto him, Doe as he hath sayd, and smite him, and bury him, that thou mayest take away the blood, which Ioab shed causelesse, from me and from the house of my father.

32 Hagi hazenkezani omne netrema zanahe'nea zantera, Ra Anumzamo agrake Joapuna nona huntegahie. Na'ankure agra hazenkezni omne netre Israeli vahe sondia kva ne' Neri nemofo Abnane, Juda vahe sondia vahetaminte kva ne Jetari nemofo Amasanena nenfa'a keno antahino osu'negeno zanahe'ne.

And the Lord shall bring his blood vpon his owne head: for he smote two men more righteous and better then he, and slew them with the sword, and my father Dauid knew not: to wit, Abner the sonne of Ner, captaine of the hoste of Israel, and Amasa the sonne of Iether captaine of the hoste of Iudah.

Their blood shall therefore returne vpon the head of Ioab, and on the head of his seede for euer: but vpon Dauid, and vpon his seede, and vpon his house, and vpon his throne shall there be peace for euer from the Lord.

34 Hagi anante Jehoiada nemofo Benaia'a vuno ruotge seli mono nompi Joapuna ome ahe frigeno, avufa'a eri'za hagege kokampi noma'afinka ome asente'naze.

So Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada went vp, and smote him, and slewe him, and he was buryed in his owne house in the wildernesse.

35 Hagi ana nehuno kini ne'mo'a Joapu nontera Benaiana azeri otigeno sondia vahetera ugota kva manigeno, pristi ne' Abiata nontera, Zadoki azeri otigeno pristia mani'ne.

And the King put Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada in his roume ouer the hoste: and the King set Zadok the Priest in the roume of Abiathar.

36 Hagi anante kini ne'mo'a Simeintega amanage huno kea atrente'ne, kagra Jerusalemi nona ome kinka manio. Hianagi ana kumapintira atrenka rurega vunka enka osutfa huo.

Afterwarde the King sent, and called Shimei, and sayde vnto him, Buylde thee an house in Ierusalem, and dwell there, and depart not thence any whither.

37 Hanki ana kuma'ma atrenka Kidroni kraho'ma agaterenka nevanunka, nagra frigahue hunka kagesa antahio. Hagi anama hunka kagrama frisankeno'a, fri'nana knazamo'a kagrite megahie.

For that day that thou goest out, and passest ouer the riuer of Kidron, knowe assuredly, that thou shalt dye the death: thy blood shall be vpon thine owne head.

38 Hanki Simei'a amanage huno kini ne'mofo kerera hu'ne, kini nera nanekema refko'ma hunka ketenka hunantana kemo'a fatgo hianki'na rana kini nimokama hanankemofona, eri'za nekamo'na avaririgahue. Anage nehuno Simei'a zaza kna Jerusalemia mani'ne.

And Shimei sayd vnto the King, The thing is good: as my lord the King hath sayd, so wil thy seruant doe. So Shimei dwelt in Ierusalem many dayes.

39 Hianagi 3'a kafuma enevigeno'a, Simei eri'za netremokea atrene freke Gati kini ne' Maka nemofo Akisi'ene Gati kumate umani'na'e. Hagi Simeina mago'a vahe'mo'za asami'za, Eri'za neka'araremokea freke Gati kumate umani'na'e huza asamizageno,

And after three yeres two of the seruants of Shimei fled away vnto Achish sonne of Maachah King of Gath: and they tolde Shimei, saying, Behold, thy seruants be in Gath.

40 Simei'a tonki afu'a retro huteno agumpi marerino eri'za netrema'agu hakeno Gati kumate Akisinte vu'ne. Hagi ana eri'za netre'na ome zanageno, Gati kumatetira ete zanavreno e'ne.

And Shimei arose, and sadled his asse, and went to Gath to Achish, to seeke his seruantes: and Shimei went, and brought his seruants from Gath.

41 Hagi Simei'ma Jerusalemima atreno Gatima vuteno eankema Solomoni'ma nentahino'a,

And it was tolde Salomon, that Shimei had gone from Ierusalem to Gath, and was come againe.

42 kini ne'mo'a amanage huno kea atrente'ne, Nagra Ra Anumzamofo avufi huvempa hu'na Jerusalemi kuma'ma atrenka ru kumate'ma vanunka frigahane hu'na hu'noe. Hagi anagema hugenka, kagra amanage hu'nane, kini nera nanekema refko'ma hunka ketenka hunantana kemo'a fatgo hianki'na ana kemofo avaririgahue hu'nane.

And the King sent and called Shimei, and sayde vnto him, Did I not make thee to sweare by the Lord, and protested vnto thee, saying, That day that thou goest out, and walkest any whither, knowe assuredly that thou shalt dye the death? And thou saydest vnto mee, The thing is good, that I haue heard.

43 Hagi nahigenka Ra Anumzamofo avufima huvempama hunka avaririgahue hu'nana kea rutragenane?

Why then hast thou not kept the othe of the Lord, and the commandement wherewith I charged thee?

44 Hagi kini ne'mo'a Simeinkura mago'ane amanage hu'ne, kefo kavukava'ma nenfa Devitima hunte'nana zana kagra'a antahi'nane. E'ina hu'negu Ra Anumzamo'a ana knazamofo nona'a kagrira kazeri haviza hugahie.

The King sayde also to Shimei, Thou knowest all the wickednes whereunto thine heart is priuie, that thou diddest to Dauid my father: the Lord therefore shall bring thy wickednesse vpon thine owne head.

45 Hianagi Ra Anumzamo'a nagrira asomu hunante'nigeno, Ra Anumzamofo avurera Deviti kini tramo'a agripintima fore hunante anante'ma hu'za vanaza vahepi mevava huno vugahie.

And let King Salomon be blessed, and the throne of Dauid stablished before the Lord for euer.

46 Ana huteno Jehoiada nemofo Benaia huntegeno, Simeina ome ahe fri'ne. Ana huteno Solomoni'a hankavenentake kini fore huno vahera kegava hu'ne.

So the King comanded Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada: who went out and smote him that he dyed. And the kingdome was established in the hand of Salomon.
