1 Hagi Giliati mopafi, Tisbe kumate nemania kasnampa ne' Elaija'a amanage huno kini ne' Ahapuna asami'ne, Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe Anumzama kasefa huno mani'nea Anumzamofo avufi Agri eri'za ne'mo'na huankino, mago'a kafumofo agu'afina magore huno atara ahege, kora rugera osugahianki, nagrama hanugenoke atara ahege, kora rugera hugahie.
Then said Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gil'ad, unto Achab, As the Lord the God of Israel liveth, before whom I have stood, there shall not be in these years dew or rain, except according to my word.
2 Anagema hutegeno'a, Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno Elaijana asami'ne.
And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,
3 Amaretira atrenka rukrahe hunka Jodani timofona zage hanati kaziga vunka, Keriti tinkagomupi ome frakinka umanio.
Go away from here, and turn thyself eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Kerith, which is to the east of the Jordan.
4 Hagi ana tinteti tina nenege'na, Nagra kotkoti namazaga huzmanta'nenkeno ne'zana eri'za eme kamigahaze.
And it shall be, that out of the brook shalt thou drink; and the ravens have I ordained to sustain thee there.
5 Anagema higeno'a, Ra Anumzamo'ma asamia kante anteno Elaija'a Jodani timofona zage hanati kaziga Keriti tinkagomupi umani'ne.
And he went and did according to the word of the Lord; and he went and remained by the brook Kerith, that is to the east of the Jordan.
6 Hagi anampinkama mani'negeno, maka nanterane kinaganena kotkoti namazagamo'za bretine ame'anena eri'za eme nemizageno, ana tinteti tina ne'ne.
And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening: and out of the brook he used to drink.
7 Hianagi osia knama nemanigeno'a, ana timo'a tane'ne. Na'ankure ana mopafina kora oru'negeno'e.
And it came to pass after a while that the brook dried up; because there had been no rain in the land.
8 Ana'ma higeno'a, Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno Elaijana asami'ne,
And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,
9 Otinka Saidoni mopafi vunka Zarefati kumapi umanio. Nagra ko kento a'mofo hunte'noankino, ne'zana negamino kegava hugantegahie.
Arise, go unto Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and remain there: behold, I have ordained there a widow-woman to sustain thee.
10 Hagi anagema higeno'a, otino Zarefati kumatega vuno, ana kumamofo kafante'ma unehanatino keana, ana kento a'mo'a tevesesa zonegino mani'negeno omege'ne. Hagi ana a'ma negeno'a, amanage huno ke'zana tino asami'ne, Muse hugantoanki tina tafempina afinka eme namige'na naneno, huno higeno,
So he arose and went to Zarephath; and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, there was there a widow-woman gathering sticks of wood: and he called her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
11 ana a'mo'ma ana tima ome afinaku'ma neviana ete mago'ane amanage huno ranke huno asmi'ne, Osi'a kazampina bretinena eri'nenka eno.
And as she went to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thy hand.
12 Hianagi amanage huno ana a'mo'a hu'ne, Tamage Ra Anumzana mani'nea Anumzanka'amofo avufinki, bretima kreno eme kami flauara omne'neanki, mago naza huga'a osi'a kavofina megeno, tafempina osi'a ro'afinka masavena me'ne. Hagi ne'zana omne'neankita nagrane neni'anena anama'a kreta neteta mani'neta fri'nuegu tevesesa eme zonegue.
And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have nothing baked, but a handful of meal in a jar, and a little oil in a cruise: and, behold, I am gathering a couple of sticks, that I may go in and prepare it for me and my son; and when we have eaten it, we shall have to die.
13 Anagema higeno'a, Elaija'a amanage huno ana a'mofonkura hu'ne, Korora osunka vunka kema hanaza ome huo. Hianagi ese'zana osi'a nagrira bretia krenka eme namitenka, henka kagra su'ane negamofo su'anena ome kro.
And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said; but make me thereof a little cake at first, and bring it out unto me, and for thee and for thy son shalt thou prepare [something] afterward.
14 Na'ankure Ra Anumzana Israeli vahe'mofo Anumzamo'a amanage hu'ne. Kavofina flauamo'a vagaoreno me'nena tafempinena masavemo'a vagaore me'nenkeno vuno Ra Anumzamo'ma ama mopafima ko'ma atresigeno arania knare uhanatigahie.
For thus hath said the Lord the God of Israel, The jar of meal shall not fail, neither shall the cruise of oil diminish, until the day that the Lord giveth rain upon the face of the earth.
15 Hagi anankema nentahino'a vuno Elaija'ma hiaza ome hu'ne. Ana higeno ana kento a'mo'ene Elaija'ene, ana a'mofo naga'mozanena nezankura atupara osu rama'a knafi ne'zana ne'za vu'naze.
And she went and did according to the word of Elijah: and she, and he, and her household, did eat [many] days.
16 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'ma Elaija'ma asamigenoma hu'nea kante ante'no ana kavofima me'nea flauamo'ene tafempima me'nea masavemo'enena vagaore'ne.
The jar of meal failed not, nor did the cruise of oil diminish, according to the word of the Lord, which he had spoken through means of Elijah.
17 Hagi mago'a kna evutegeno, ana a'mofo mofavremo'a kri erigeno ana kri'amo'a ome ra higeno fri'ne.
And it came to pass after these events, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness became very severe, until that at length there was no breath left in him.
18 Hagi ana'ma higeno'a, ana a'mo'a amanage huno Elaijana asami'ne, Anumzamofo eri'za ne'moka naza amazana hunantane? Nagrama kumi'ma hu'noa zante hunagesa nehunka nenamofo ahe fri'naku kagra e'nano?
And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O man of God? thou art come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son!
19 Hianagi Elaija'a amanage huno ana akura hu'ne. Negamofona namio, huno nehuno ana a'mofo azampintira ana mofavrea avreno nomofo anaga kaziga nemasefinka marerino nemasea sipare ome ante'ne.
And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into the upper chamber, in which he abode, and he laid him upon his own bed.
20 Hagi ana nehuno ranke huno amanage huno Ra Anumzamofontega nunamuna hu'ne, Ra Anumzana nagri Anumzamoke, nahigenka knare'ma huno noma'afima navrentege'nama manua kento ara amanahu hazenkea avrenka ankeno mofavre'amo'a frie?
And he called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
21 Anage nehuno 3'a zupa ana mofavremofo agofetu maseno amanage huno Anumzamofontega nunamuna hu'ne. Ra Anumzana nagri Anumzamoka ama mofavremofo asimura ete aminka azeri otio.
And he stretched himself out over the child three times, and called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, let, I pray thee, the soul of this child return again within him.
22 Hagi Ra Anumzamo'a Elaijama hia nunamuna nentahino, ana mofavrea asimura amino azeri oti'ne.
And the Lord listened to the voice of Elijah: and the soul of the child returned into him, and he revived.
23 Hagi frinefinti'ma otigeno'a Elaija'a nomofo anaga kazigama nevasefintira ana mofavrea avreno eramino nerera eme nemino amanage hu'ne, negamofo'a ofri amne mani'neanki ko.
And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the upper chamber into the house, and gave him unto his mother; and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth.
24 Higeno ana zama negeno'a ana a'mo'a amanage huno Elaijankura hu'ne. Tamage nagra menina kena antahi'nama huana, kagra Anumzamofo eri'za vahe mani'nankeno, Ra Anumzamo'ma kagri kagipima huvazino'ma nehia nanekemo'a tamage naneke.
And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this do I know, that thou art a man of God, and the word of the Lord in thy mouth is truth.
