the sons of Judah, Perez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.

2 Hagi Sobali'a Reaia nefa'e. Reaia'a Jahati nafa'e, Jahati'a Ahumaine Lahatikizni neznafa'e. Hagi ama ana nagara Zora kumate'ma nemaniza vahepinti fore hu'naze.

And, Reaiah son of Shobal, begat Jahath, and, Jahath, begat Ahumai, and Lahad. These, are the families of the Zorathites.

3 Hagi Etamu ne'mofavremofo zamagi'a ama'ne, Jezrili'ma, Isma'ma, Idbasa'e. Hagi nezmasaro agi'a Hazelelponi'e.

And, these, were the sons of Etam, Jezreel and Ishma, and Idbash, —and, the name of their sister, was Hazzelelponi;

4 Hagi magora Penuelikino Gedori nefa'e. Magora Ezerikino Husa kuma eri fore hu'ne. Hagi magora Hurikino Betlehemu Kuma azeri oti'nea nere. Hagi Huri'a Efratana ese mofavre'e.

and Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer, the father of Hushah. These, are the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah, the father of Bethlehem.

5 Asuhuri'a Tekoa kuma'ma eri fore'ma hu'nea nekino, tare a' zanante'neana zanagi'a Hela'ene Narake.

And, Ashhur the father of Tekoa, had two wives, —Helah, and Naarah.

6 Hagi Nara'a Ahuzamima, Heferima, Temenima, Hahastarima huno kasezmante'ne.

And Naarah bare him Ahuzzam and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These, were the sons of Naarah.

7 Hagi Hela'a Zeretima, Izarima, Etnanima huno kasezmante'ne.

And, the sons of Helah, were Zereth, Izhar, and Ethnan.

8 Hagi Kozi'a Anupune, Zobebakizni kase zanante'neankino, agripinti Harumu nemofo Aharheli nagara efore hu'naze.

And, Koz, begat Anub, and Zobebah, —and the families of Aharhel, the son of Harum.

9 Hagi Jabesi'a afuhe'ina zmagatere'nea nekino vahe'mo'za kesga hu'za ragi nemiza nere. Hagi nerera'a, tusi'a nata negrige'na kasente'noe huno nehuno, Jabesi'e huno agi'a antemi'ne.

Now it came to pass that Jabez was more honourable than his brethren, —but, his mother, had called his name Jabez, ["he causes pain"] saying, Because I bare him with pain.

So then Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldst, indeed bless, me, and enlarge my boundary, and that thy hand might be with me, —and that thou wouldst work [to deliver me] from evil, that it be not my pain. And God brought about that which he asked.

And, Chelub the brother of Shuhah, begat Mehir, the same, was the father of Eshton.

12 hagi Estoni'a Bet-rafane, Paseane, Tehinama huno kasezmante'ne. Hagi Tehina'a Ir-nahasi nefa'e. Hagi ama ana veneneramina Reka kumate venene mani'naze.

And, Eshton, begat Beth-rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah, the father of Ir-nahash. These, are the men of Recah.

13 Hagi Kenazi'a, Otnielikizni, Seraiakizni neznafa'e. Hagi Otnieli'a Hatatikiznine Meonotaikizni neznafa'e.

And, the sons of Kenaz, were Othniel, and Seraiah, —and, the sons of Othniel, Hathath.

14 Hagi Meonotai'a Ofra nefa'e. Hagi Seraia'a Joapu nefa'e, Joapu'a Ge-harasim kasente'ne. Hagi Ge-harasimi'ema hu'neana, na'ankure maka'zama zamazantetima tro'ma nehaza vahera agripinti efore hu'naze.

And, Meonothai, begat Ophrah, —and, Seraiah, begat Joab, the father of Ge-harashim, for they were, craftsmen.

15 Hagi Jefune nemofo Kalepi ne' mofavre'ramimofo zamagi'a ama'ne, Iruma, Ela'ma, Na'amu'e. Hagi Ela'a Kenazi nefa'e.

And, the sons of Caleb son of Jephunneh, were Iru, Elah, and Naam, —and the sons of Elah and Kenaz.

16 Jehaleleli ne' mofavreramina ama'ne, Zifi'ma, Zifa'ma, Tiria'ma, Asareli'e.

And, the sons of Jehallelel, Ziph and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asarel.

17 Hagi Ezra ne' mofavremokizimi zamagi'a, Jeteri'ma, Meredi'ma, Eferima, Jaroni'e. Hagi Meredi'a Fero mofa Bitia ara eri'ne. Hagi ana a'mo'a Miriamuma, Samaima, Isbama huno kasezmante'ne. Hagi Isba'a Estemoa kuma azeri otine.

And, the sons of Ezrah, Jether and Mered, and Epher and Jalon. And, these, are the sons of Bithia, daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered took, —and she conceived and bare Miriam and Shammai, and Ishbah, the father of Eshtemoa.

18 Hagi Mereti'a Juda kumateti a' erineno Jereti kasentegeno, Jeretia Gedori kuma azeri oti'nea nere. Hagi Heberi'a Soko kuma azeri oti'nea nere. Jekutieli'a Zanoa kuma azeri oti'nea nere.

And, his wife, the Jewess, bare Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Soco, and Jekuthiel, the father of Zanoah.

19 Hodia nenaro'a Nahamu nesaro'e. Hagi e'i ana veatremokea tare mofavre zanantena'ankino mago nemofo'a Keila kumara azeri otigeno, agripinti Garmi vahera efore hazageno, mago nemofo'a Estemoa kuma azeri otigeno, Ma'aka vahera agripinti efore hu'naze.

And, the sons of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham, were the father of Keilah, the Garmite, —and Eshtemoa, the Maacathite.

20 Hagi Simeoni ne' mofavremokizmi zamagi'a, Amnonima, Rina'ma, Ben-hananima, Tiloni'e. Hagi Isi'a Soheti naga'ene Ben-soheti nagamofo nezamageho'e.

And, the sons of Shimon, Amnon, and Rinnah, Ben-hanan and Tilon. And, the sons of Ishi, Zoheth, and Ben-zoheth.

21 Hagi Juda nemofo Sela ne' mofavreramimofo zamagi'a, Erikino Leka kuma azeri otigeno, Maresa kumama azeri oti'nea nera Lada mani'ne. Hagi Lada naga'mo'za Bet-Asbea kumate mani'ne'za efeke huno knare'ma hu'nea tavravema tro'ma nehaza naga mani'naze.

the sons of Shelah, the son of Judah, Er, the father of Lecah, and Laadah, the father of Mareshah, —and the families of the house of them that wrought fine linen, of the house of Ashbea;

22 Hagi mago mofavrea Jokimikino, Koseva vahe'ene Joasi vahe'ene Sarafu vahe'enena agripinti efore hu'za mani'neza, Moapu mopane Jasuvi-Rehemu mopanena kegava hu'naze. (Ama ana zamagi zamagenkema krente'nazana korapa knafi krente'naze.)

and Jokim, and the men of Cozeba, and Joash, and Saraph who ruled for Moab, and Jashubi-lehem, —but, the records, are ancient.

23 Hagi ama ana vahetmina Netamu kumate'ene Gedera kumate'ene mani'ne'za, mopa kavo tro nehu'za, kini ne' eri'za eneriza nemaniza vahetami mani'naze.

They, were the potters and the inhabitants of Netaim, and Gederah, —with the king in his work, dwelt they there.

24 Hagi Simioni ne' mofavreramimofo zamagi'a, Nemueli'ma, Jamini'ma, Jaribi'ma, Zera'ma, Sauli'e.

The sons of Simeon, Nemuel, and Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, Shaul:

25 Hagi Sauli'a Salumu nefa'e, Salumu'a Mibsamu nefa'e, Mibsamu'a Misma nefa'e.

Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.

26 Hagi Misma agehemokizmi zamagi'a ama'ne, Misma'a Hamueli nefa'e, Hamueli'a Zakuri nefa'e, Zakuri'a Simei nefa'e.

And, the sons of Mishma, Hammuel his son, Zaccur his son, Shimei his son.

27 Hagi Simei'a 16ni'a ne' mofavreraminki 6si'a mofanegi huno zamante'ne. Hianagi afuhemo'za mofavrea rama'a onte'nazageno, mago'a Juda naga'mozama hazaza hu'za Simeoni naga'mo'za rama'a vahera forera osu'naze.

And, Shimei, had sixteen sons, and six daughters, but, his brethren, had not many children, —nor did, any of their family, multiply so much as the sons of Judah.

28 Hagi Simioni naga'mo'za Berseba kumapima, Molada kumapima, Hazar-Sual Kumapima,

And they dwelt in Beer-sheba, and Moladah, and Hazar-shual;

29 Bilha kumapima, Ezemi kumapima, Toladi kumapima,

and in Bilhah, and in Ezem, and in Tolad;

30 Betueli kumapima, Homa kumapima, Ziklagi kumapima,

and in Bethuel, and in Hormah, and in Ziklag;

31 Bet-Makaboti kumapima, Hazar-Susim kumapima, Bet-Biri kumapima, Saraim kumapima hu'za mani'naze. Hagi Simeon naga'mo'za ama ana kumatminte mani'nazageno Deviti'a kinia efore hu'ne.

and in Beth-marcaboth, and in Hazar-susim, and in Beth-biri, and in Shaaraim. These, were their cities unto the reign of David.

32 Hagi mago'a zamagehemo'za 5fu'a neonese kumapi mani'naze. Ana kumatmimofo zamagi'a, Etamu kuma'ma, Aini kuma'ma, Rimoni kuma'ma, Tokeni kuma'ma, Asani kumapima hu'za mani'naze.

And, their villages, were Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, —five cities;

33 Hagi neone kumatmima ana rankumatmimofoma megagitere huno Balatima ome atre'nea kumatmimpine mani'naze. E'ina maka Simioni nagamofo kumataminkino, mika zamagehemofo zamagiramine zamagri zamagiraminena, avontafepi krente'naze.

and all their villages that were round about these cities, as far as Baal. These, were their habitations, and they had their own genealogical register.

34 Hagi mago'a Simeonimpinti'ma fore'ma hu'naza vahetmimofo zamagi'a, Meshobapu'ma, Jamleki'ma, Amasia nemofo Josa'e.

And Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah, the son of Amaziah;

35 Joeli'ma, Josibia nemofo Jehu'ma, Jehu nemofo Seraia'ma, Seraia nemofo Aserima,

and Joel, —and Jehu, the son of Joshibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel:

36 Elioenai'ma, Jakoba'ma, Jesohaiama, Asaia'ma, Adieli'ma, Jesimieli'ma, Benaia'ma,

and Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah:

37 Sifi nemofo Siza'ma, Aloni nemofo Jedaia'ma, Jedaia nemofo Simri'ma, Simri nemofo Semaia'e.

and Ziza, son of Shiphi, son of Allon, son of Jedaiah, son of Shimri, son of Shemaiah.

38 E'i ama ana vahetamina Simioni naga nofite'ma ugota huterema hu'naza vahe'mofo zamagi krente'naze. Hagi ana naga'nofimo'za rama'a vahe fore hu'naze.

These, introduced by their names, were leading men in their families. And, their ancestral house, brake forth exceedingly;

39 Hagi sipisipi afutamine bulimakao afuzagamofo trazankura agupomofo zage hanati kaziga Gedori mopafi hake'za vu'naze.

so they went to the entering in of Gerar, unto the east of the valley, —to seek pasture for their flocks;

40 E'ina mopama ome kazana trazamo'a knare hu'ne. Hagi ana mopamo'a kahesa huno ra higeno, ana kumapi vahe'mo'za hafra osu fru hu'za knare hu'za mani'naze. Na'ankure ana agupofina Hamu nagake kora mani'nazane.

and they found pasture, fat and good, and, the land, was broad on both hands, and quiet, and secure, —for, of Ham, were the dwellers there aforetime.

41 Hianagi Juda ne' Hezekaia'ma kinima mani'nea knafi Simioni naga'mo'za vu'za, Hamu naga'ene Meuni naga'enena ome ha' huzmante'za nonkumazmia taganavaziza maka zazmia eri haviza nehu'za zamahe vagare'naze. Na'ankure ana mopafina trazamo'a avitegeno sipisipi afu'ene, bulimakao afutaminema kegavama hu'arera knare hu'ne.

But these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents, and the Meunim who were found there, and devoted them, until this day, and dwelt in their stead, —for there was pasture for their flocks, there.

and they smote the remainder that had escaped, of the Amalekites, —and dwelt there—[as they have] unto this day.
