and Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah: these were the sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah, [and] father of Bethlehem.

5 Asuhuri'a Tekoa kuma'ma eri fore'ma hu'nea nekino, tare a' zanante'neana zanagi'a Hela'ene Narake.

— And Ashhur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.

6 Hagi Nara'a Ahuzamima, Heferima, Temenima, Hahastarima huno kasezmante'ne.

And Naarah bore him Ahuzzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Ahashtari: these were the sons of Naarah.

And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, Oh that thou wouldest richly bless me, and enlarge my border, and that thy hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God brought about what he had requested.

14 Hagi Meonotai'a Ofra nefa'e. Hagi Seraia'a Joapu nefa'e, Joapu'a Ge-harasim kasente'ne. Hagi Ge-harasimi'ema hu'neana, na'ankure maka'zama zamazantetima tro'ma nehaza vahera agripinti efore hu'naze.

And Meonothai begot Ophrah: and Seraiah begot Joab, the father of the valley of craftsmen; for they were craftsmen.

15 Hagi Jefune nemofo Kalepi ne' mofavre'ramimofo zamagi'a ama'ne, Iruma, Ela'ma, Na'amu'e. Hagi Ela'a Kenazi nefa'e.

— And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh: Iru, Elah, and Naam; and the sons of Elah, ...and Kenaz.

16 Jehaleleli ne' mofavreramina ama'ne, Zifi'ma, Zifa'ma, Tiria'ma, Asareli'e.

— And the sons of Jehalleleel: Ziph and Ziphah, Tiria and Asareel.

21 Hagi Juda nemofo Sela ne' mofavreramimofo zamagi'a, Erikino Leka kuma azeri otigeno, Maresa kumama azeri oti'nea nera Lada mani'ne. Hagi Lada naga'mo'za Bet-Asbea kumate mani'ne'za efeke huno knare'ma hu'nea tavravema tro'ma nehaza naga mani'naze.

The sons of Shelah the son of Judah: Er the father of Lechah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of byssus-workers, of the house of Ashbea,

Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.

26 Hagi Misma agehemokizmi zamagi'a ama'ne, Misma'a Hamueli nefa'e, Hamueli'a Zakuri nefa'e, Zakuri'a Simei nefa'e.

And the sons of Mishma: Hammuel his son, Zaccur his son, Shimei his son;

27 Hagi Simei'a 16ni'a ne' mofavreraminki 6si'a mofanegi huno zamante'ne. Hianagi afuhemo'za mofavrea rama'a onte'nazageno, mago'a Juda naga'mozama hazaza hu'za Simeoni naga'mo'za rama'a vahera forera osu'naze.

and Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters. And his brethren had not many sons; neither did all their family multiply like to the sons of Judah.

and all their villages that were round about these cities, as far as Baal. These were their habitations and their genealogical register.

34 Hagi mago'a Simeonimpinti'ma fore'ma hu'naza vahetmimofo zamagi'a, Meshobapu'ma, Jamleki'ma, Amasia nemofo Josa'e.

And Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah the son of Amaziah,

35 Joeli'ma, Josibia nemofo Jehu'ma, Jehu nemofo Seraia'ma, Seraia nemofo Aserima,

and Joel, and Jehu the son of Josibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel,

36 Elioenai'ma, Jakoba'ma, Jesohaiama, Asaia'ma, Adieli'ma, Jesimieli'ma, Benaia'ma,

and Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah,

37 Sifi nemofo Siza'ma, Aloni nemofo Jedaia'ma, Jedaia nemofo Simri'ma, Simri nemofo Semaia'e.

and Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah:

38 E'i ama ana vahetamina Simioni naga nofite'ma ugota huterema hu'naza vahe'mofo zamagi krente'naze. Hagi ana naga'nofimo'za rama'a vahe fore hu'naze.

these mentioned by name were princes in their families; and their fathers' houses increased greatly.

39 Hagi sipisipi afutamine bulimakao afuzagamofo trazankura agupomofo zage hanati kaziga Gedori mopafi hake'za vu'naze.

And they went to the entrance of Gedor, as far as the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.

And they found fat and good pasture, and a land widely extended and quiet and fertile, for they who had dwelt there formerly were of Ham.

41 Hianagi Juda ne' Hezekaia'ma kinima mani'nea knafi Simioni naga'mo'za vu'za, Hamu naga'ene Meuni naga'enena ome ha' huzmante'za nonkumazmia taganavaziza maka zazmia eri haviza nehu'za zamahe vagare'naze. And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them utterly unto this day, and dwelt in their stead; for there was pasture there for their flocks.
