< 1 Kroniku 21 >
1 Hagi Israeli vahe zamazeri haviza hunaku Sata'a antahintahi huteno, Israeli vahe hampri antahintahia Devitina ami'ne.
Then the accuser stood up, against Israel, —and moved David, to number Israel.
2 Ana higeno Deviti'a Joapune sondia vahetema ugote'naza kva vahetaminena amanage huno zamasmi'ne, maka Israeli vahetmima sauti kaziga Besebati'ma evuno noti kaziga Dani mopare'ma mani'naza vahetmina hamprita nampazmia erita eme naminke'na nama'a vahe mani'nazafi kaneno.
And David said unto Joab and unto the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel, from Beer-sheba even unto Dan, —and bring [the report] unto me, that I may know the number of them.
3 Hianagi Joapu'a amanage huno ana kenona hu'ne, Ra Anumzamo'a vahe'a mago'ane 100'a zupa zamazeri rama'a hanigeno, rama'a vahe fore hu'za manigahazanki, rania kini ne'moka nagafare ama zana hu'za nehaze? Zamagra kagri eri'za vahe mani'nazanki, nahigenka Israeli vahera zamavarenka kumipina zamante'za nehane?
Then said Joab, May Yahweh add unto his people, as many as they are, a hundred times, but are they not, my lord O king, all of them my lord’s, as servants? wherefore should my lord seek this? wherefore should it become guilt to Israel?
4 Hianagi Deviti'a ana kea ontahi tutu huno huntegeno, maka Israeli mopafi Joapu'a vano nehuno vahera hamprino nampana eriteno, ete Jerusalemi kumatera e'no,
But, the word of the king, prevailed against Joab, —and Joab departed, and went to and fro throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.
5 ana vahe nampana Devitina eme ami'ne. Hagi maka Israeli agu'afima bainati kazinknoma erino ha'ma huga vahetmima hampri'neana 1milien 100tauseni'a vahetminki, Juda mopamofo agu'afina bainati kazinknoma erino ha'ma huga vahetmima hampri'neana, 470tauseni'a vahetami hampri'ne.
And Joab delivered the sum of the number of the people, unto David, —and all Israel was found to be a thousand thousand and a hundred thousand men, who drew sword, and Judah, four hundred and seventy thousand men, who drew sword.
6 Hianagi ana vahe'ma hamprifina Livae naga'ene Benzameni nagara ohamprine.
But, Levi and Benjamin, counted he not among them, —for detestable was the word of the king unto Joab.
7 Hianagi Anumzamo'a vahe'ma hampri'naza zankura musena osuno, Israeli vahetmina knazana zamino zamazeri haviza hu'ne.
And it was displeasing in the eyes of God, concerning this thing, —therefore smote he Israel.
And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly, in that I have done this thing, —but, now, I beseech thee, take away the iniquity of thy servant, for I have shown myself very foolish.
9 Anagema higeno'a, Ra Anumzamo'a amanage huno Deviti kasnampa ne' Gatina asmi'ne,
Then spake Yahweh unto Gad, the seer of David saying:
10 vunka Ra Anumzamo'a amanage hie hunka Devitina ome asamio, 3'a zantmi kaveri hugahuanki, anampinti mago huhamprio.
Go—and thou shalt speak unto David, saying, Thus, saith Yahweh, Three things, do I offer thee, —choose thee one from among them, that I may do it unto thee.
11 Hagi anagema hutegeno'a Gati'a Devitinte eno amanage eme hu'ne, Ra Anumzamo'a amanage hie, kagri'ma kavesinia sua mago huhamprio,
So Gad came unto David, —and said to him, Thus, saith Yahweh,
Choose thee: —Whether, for three years, [there be] famine, Or, for three months, that thou flee before thine adversaries, while the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee, Or, for three days, the sword of Yahweh, and pestilence be in the land, with, the messenger of Yahweh, laying waste throughout all the boundary of Israel, —Now, therefore, see, what, answer, I shall return unto him that sent me.
13 Anagema higeno Deviti'a amanage huno Gatina asmi'ne, kema nasamina kegura nagra tusigna huanki, atregeno Ra Anumzamo'a agra'a azanuti nazano hunanteku'ma hania zana hunanteno. Na'ankure Agri asunku zamo'a ra hu'neanki, natrenigeno ama mopafi vahe'mo'a nazeri havizana osino.
And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait, —Oh let me fall, I pray thee, into the hand of Yahweh, for abounding are his compassions, exceedingly, but, into the hand of man, let me not fall.
14 E'inage higeno Ra Anumzamo'a Israeli vahepina, kefo kri atregeno 70tauseni'a Israeli vene'ne zamahe fri'ne.
So Yahweh laid pestilence, upon Israel, —and there fell, of Israel, seventy thousand men.
15 Hagi ana nehuno Anumzamo'a Jerusalemi kumara eri haviza hinogu, ankero huntegeno vu'ne. Hianagi ana ankeromo'ma Jerusalemi kuma'ma eri haviza hunaku'ma nehigeno'a, vahe'amofoma zamatama zamiaza Ra Anumzamo'ma negeno, asunku nehuno ana ankerona asmino, hago rama'a knaza zaminanki, ozamahenka zamatro! Hagi ana kema asmi'neana Jebusi vahepinti ne' Onani'ma witi neharea kumapi ana ankeromo'a otinegeno asmi'ne.
And God sent a messenger to Jerusalem, to lay it waste, but, as he was laying it waste, Yahweh looked, and relented concerning the calamity, and said unto the messenger who was laying waste, Enough! now, stay thy hand. And, the messenger of Yahweh, was standing by the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
16 Hagi Deviti'a avuma kesga huno keana Ra Anumzamofo ankeromo'a monane mopanemofo kankamumpi otineno, bainati kazima'a azampi erineno Jerusalemi kumatega azana rusute'negeno ke'ne. E'i ana'ma higeno'a Deviti'ene maka ranra vahe'tmimo'zanena zamasunku kukenazmi hu'ne'za zamavugosaregati mopafi mase'naze.
And, when David lifted up his eyes, and saw the messenger of Yahweh, standing, between the earth and the heavens, and his sword drawn, in his hand, stretched out over Jerusalem, then fell David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, upon their faces.
Zamagra nahazenke hu'naze? Ra Anumzamoka karimpahezana atregeno nagrite'ene naganire'ene eno. Hianagi ama vaheka'a mago hazenkea osu'nazanki zamahe ofrio.
And David said unto God, Was it not, I, who gave word to number the people? Yea, I, it was who sinned and did the great wrong, what then had, these sheep, done? O Yahweh, my God, let thy hand, I beseech thee, be against me, and against the house of my father, but not against, thy people, that they should be plagued!
18 Anagema higeno'a Ra Anumzamofo ankeromo'a Gatina amanage huno asmi'ne, kagra vunka Devitina amanage hunka ome asmio, Jebusi ne' Onani'ma witi honama neharea kumapi marerinka Ra Anumzamofo kresramna vu ita ome tro huo hunka ome asamio.
And, the messenger of Yahweh, commanded Gad, to say unto David, —that David should go up, to rear an altar unto Yahweh, in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
19 Higeno Deviti'a Ra Anumzamo'ma Gati'ma asamigeno'ma Ra Anumzamofo agifima eme asmia kea amage anteno, ana zana ome tro hunaku mareri'ne.
So David went up, according to the word of Gad, which he spake in the name of Yahweh.
And Ornan turned, and saw the messenger, but, his four sons with him, were hiding themselves, —now, Ornan, had been threshing wheat.
21 Hagi Onani'ma mani'nere Deviti'a egeno, Onani'a negeno witima nehareretira atreno vuno avugosaregati mopafi umaseno ragi ami'ne.
Then came David unto Ornan, —and Ornan looked, and saw David, and went forth out of the threshing-floor, and bowed himself unto David, with his face to the ground.
22 Hagi anante Deviti'a amanage huno Onanina asmi'ne, witi honama neharana kumaka'a namige'na, knare mizanteti miza hu'na Ra Anumzamofontegama kresramnavu ita tro hanenkeno, krireti'ma vahe'ma zamazeri havizama nehia knazana eri atreno.
And David said unto Ornan, Grant me the place of the threshing-floor, that I may build thereon an altar, unto Yahweh, —for silver in full, shalt thou grant it me, that the plague may be stayed from off the people.
23 Higeno Onani'a Devitina amanage huno asmi'ne, kini nera ranimoka, amne erinka nazano hunaku'ma hanana zana huo. Hagi Kresramanama vanana zana nagra bulimakao afura negami'na, witi honama refuzafu'nepoa zafaramina kamisugenka tevea hanavazinka Kresramana vugahane. Hagi witi ofama hanana witiramina nagrake'za maka kamisugenka ofa hugahane.
And Ornan said unto David, Take it to thee, and let my lord the king do what is good in his own eyes, —see! I have given the oxen for ascending-sacrifices, and, the threshing implements for wood, and the wheat for a meal-offering, —the whole, have I given.
24 Hianagi Deviti'a amanage huno Onanina asmi'ne, i'o, nagra knare mizanteti mika zanka'a mizasegahue. Hagi nagrama amuho hunama eri fore'ma osu'nesua zana kagripintira erige, amnea anazana eri'na Ra Anumzamofontega tevefima kre fananene hu ofa osugahue.
Then said King David to Ornan, Nay! but I will, surely buy, it for silver in full, —for I will not take that which is thine for Yahweh, nor offer an ascending-sacrifice that hath cost me nothing.
25 Anage nehuno Deviti'a kna'amo'a 7kilo hu'nea goli Onanina amino witi honama neharea kuma'a mizase'ne.
So David gave to Ornan, for the place, —shekels of gold, by weight, six hundred.
26 Hagi ana kumapi Deviti'a Ra Anumzamofo kre sramnavu ita trohuno tevefima kre fananehu ofane, arimpa fru ofanena kresramna vu'ne. Hagi Deviti'ma nunamuma higeno'a, Ra Anumzamo'a Deviti nunamuna nentahino, monafinti teve atregeno eramino ana ofama kre sramnavu itare'ma me'neana eme tefanane hu'ne.
And David built there an altar unto Yahweh, and caused to go up ascending-sacrifices, and peace-offerings, —and called unto Yahweh, and he responded to him, by fire, out of the heavens, upon the altar of ascending-sacrifice.
27 Ana hutegeno Ra Anumzamo'a ankeromofona asamigeno, bainati kazima'a anoma'afi ete vazinte'ne.
And Yahweh gave word to tile messenger, and he put back his sword into its sheath.
28 Hagi Deviti'ma keama Jebusi ne' Onani'ma witima neharea kumapima Ra Anumzamo'ma nunamuma'ama antahino nonama huntegeno'a, anante ofaramina kresramna vu'ne.
At that time, when David saw that Yahweh had answered him in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite, then he sacrificed there.
29 E'ina knafina Ra Anumzamofo seli mono noma Mosese'ma hagege kokampima ki'nea mono none, Kresramana vu itanena mono'ma nehaza kumate Gibioni me'ne.
But, the habitation of Yahweh, which Moses made in the desert, and the altar of ascending-sacrifice, were, at that time, in the high place at Gibeon;
and David could not go before it, to seek God, —for he had been terrified, because of the sword of the messenger of Yahweh.
