1 Hagi Deviti'a 1tauseni'a sondia vahetema kegavama hu'naza kva vahe'ene 100'a sondia vahetema kegavama hu'naza kva vahe'ene, maka ugagota kva vahetmina zamavare atru huno keaga huno antahintahizmia eri'ne.

Then David conferred with all his leaders, the commanders of hundreds and of thousands.

2 Ana'ma nehuno'a amanage huno Israeli vahera zamasami'ne, Tamagrama hugnarerema nehanageno, Ra Anumzamofo avesi'ma me'nena maka Israeli vahetegane, kumazmifine, trazama nenaza afutamima kegavama nehaza mopafima nemaniza pristi vaheteganena kea atresunke'za maka vahe'mo'za e'za eme atru hugahaze.

And he said to the whole assembly of Israel, “If it seems good to you, and if this is of the LORD our God, let us send word far and wide to the rest of our brothers in all the land of Israel, and also to the priests and Levites in their cities and pasturelands, so that they may join us.

3 Hagi enketa Ra Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisi ete omerita esune. Na'ankure Soli'ma kinima mani'neno kegavama hu'nea knafina, ana zankura tagra tagesa ontahi mani'none.

Then let us bring back the ark of our God, for we did not inquire of Him in the days of Saul.”

4 Hagi anagema hige'za, atruma hu'naza maka vahe'mo'za mago zamarimpa hu'za kema hanazana hugahune hu'za hu'naze. Na'ankure antahintahima retro'ma hazazamo'a maka vahe'mofo zamavurera fatgo hu'ne.

And because this proposal seemed right to all the people, the whole assembly agreed to it.

5 E'ina higeno Deviti'a Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisima Kiriat-Jearimi kumateti'ma omerinaku'ma Israeli vahe'ma zmavre atru'ma hu'neana Isipia sauti kaziga Sihori tinteti agafa huno manino vuno noti kaziga Lebo-hamati kumate'ma uhanati'nea Israeli vahera maka zamavare atru hu'ne.

So David assembled all Israel, from the River Shihor in Egypt to Lebo-hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim.

6 Ana huteno Deviti'ene maka Israeli vahe'enena Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisi omerinaku Juda nagamofo moparega Kiriat-Jearimi vu'naze. Hagi ana vogisimofo agofetura tare ankerontre trohuntenegeno, ana ankerontremofo amu'nompi Ra Anumzamomofo kini trara mani'nege'za agia nehaza vogisie.

David and all Israel went up to Baalah of Judah (that is, Kiriath-jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the LORD, who is enthroned between the cherubim—the ark that is called by the Name.

7 Hagi Abinadapu nompintira kasefa karisifi Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisi erinte'za eri'za e'naze. Hagi ana karisia Uzake Ahioke kegava huke e'na'e.

So they carried the ark of God from the house of Abinadab on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding the cart.

8 Hagi eri'zama nevazageno'a Devit'ene Israeli vahe'mo'zanena Anumzamofo avuga maka hankavezmireti hu'za, hapue nehaza zavenane, lairiema nehaza zavenane konkena nere'za zozopanetiza, nasenasepa nehe'za ufena re'za zagamera hu'za musena hu'naze.

David and all the Israelites were celebrating before God with all their might, with songs and on harps and lyres, with tambourines, cymbals, and trumpets.

9 Hagi ana hume eza Kidonima witi honama refuzafu'ma nepea kumapima azageno'a, Uza'a azana ante kantuteno Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisia azeri'ne. Na'ankure ana huhagerafi huvempage vogisima eri'nea bulimakao afu'mo'a tanafa huno maseza higeno anara hu'ne.

When they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark, because the oxen had stumbled.

10 Hagi ana'ma higeno'a Ra Anumzamo'a Uzana tusi arimpa ahenenteno, ahe fri'ne. Na'ankure Uza'a huhagerafi huvempage vogisi avako hu'negeno'e. Ana higeno Uza'a Anumzamofo avuga fri'ne.

And the anger of the LORD burned against Uzzah, and He struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark. So he died there before God.

11 Ana'ma higeno'a Ra Anumzamo'ma Uzama ahe fria zankura Deviti'a tusi arimpa ahenenteno, ana kumakura Perez-uzae huno agia antemigeno meno eno, ama knarera ehanati'ne.

Then David became angry because the LORD had burst forth against Uzzah; so he named that place Perez-uzzah, as it is called to this day.

12 Hagi ana knarera Deviti'a Anumzamofonkura koro nehuno amanage hu'ne, inankna hu'na Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisia eri'na noniarega vugahue?

That day David feared God and asked, “How can I ever bring the ark of God to me?”

13 E'inage nehuno Deviti'a ana huhagerafi huvempage vogisia erino noma'arega ovu'neanki, Gati kumate ne' Obed-Edomu nompi eri kantiteno ante'ne.

So he did not move the ark with him to the City of David; instead, he took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

14 Hagi Anumzamofo huhagerafi huvempage vogisimo'a, Obed-Edomu nompina 3'a ika me'ne. Hagi ana'ma higeno'a, Ra Anumzamo'a Obed-Edomune naga'ane maka zantmima'a asomu hunte'ne.

Thus the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house for three months, and the LORD blessed his household and everything he owned.
