ମାତିଉ 20
1 “ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ରୁଆଙ୍ ରାଜ୍ୟନ୍ କେନ୍ ଅନ୍ତମ୍, ଅବୟ୍ ଅସିଙନ୍ ଆ ମୁଡ଼ମର୍ ଡୋତାନ୍ ବଡିମରଞ୍ଜି ସାୟ୍ଲେ ଆ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ୟାକୋତ୍ତାଲୋଙନ୍ କାବ୍ବାଡ଼ାନ୍ ଅନବ୍ଲୁମ୍ଲୁମନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଡୁଙ୍ଲନେ ।
“For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.
2 ଆନିନ୍ ଡିଲେ ମନ୍ରାନ୍ ବମିୟ୍ତାନ୍ ଅବୟ୍ ଲେକାଁୟ୍ ରୁପାଡାବନ୍ ତନିୟନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ବଡିମରଞ୍ଜି ସରିନ୍ ଅବ୍ସିଡ୍ଡାୟ୍ଡାଲେ ଆନିଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ୟାକୋତ୍ତାନ୍ ଆପ୍ପାୟେଞ୍ଜି ।
He agreed to pay them a denarius for the day and sent them into his vineyard.
3 ଆରି ଆନିନ୍ ନଟାରେ ସରେଁୟ୍ତାନ୍ ଆରିୟେନ୍ ତେତ୍ତେ ଆନ୍ନାମରଞ୍ଜି ଏର୍କନାବ୍ବାଡ଼ାନେନ୍ ଆତନଙନ୍ ଆଡ୍ରୋକଲଞ୍ଜି ଇୟ୍ଲେ ଗିଜେଜି,
About the third hour he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing.
4 ତିଆସନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ ତି ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜିଆଡଙ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲେ ବରେଜି, ‘ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ନିୟ୍ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ୟାକୋତ୍ତାନ୍ ଜିର୍ରେ ଇୟ୍ କାବ୍ବାଡ଼ାନାବା, ଆରି ଏଙ୍ଗାଲେ ବଡିନ୍ ତନିୟନ୍ ଡେତେ ଏତ୍ତେଲେ ଞେନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ବଡିନ୍ ତିୟ୍ତବେନ୍ ।’
‘You also go into my vineyard,’ he said, ‘and I will pay you whatever is right.’
5 ସିଲତ୍ତେ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି କୋତ୍ତାନ୍ ଜିରେଞ୍ଜି କି ଇୟ୍ଲେ କାବ୍ବାଡ଼ାନେଜି । ଆରି ଆନିନ୍ ବାରଟା ଇଙନ୍ ଡ ୟାଗି ଗଣ୍ଟା ଇଙନ୍ ଡୁଆରାନ୍ ଆରିୟେନ୍ ଏତ୍ତେଲେମା ମନ୍ରାଞ୍ଜି ଏର୍କନାବ୍ବାଡ଼ାନେନ୍ ଆତନଙନ୍ ଆଡ୍ରୋକଲଞ୍ଜି ଇୟ୍ଲେ ଗିଜେଜି ।
So they went. He went out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour and did the same thing.
6 ଆରି ଆନିନ୍ ମନ୍ଲୟ୍ ଗଣ୍ଟା ଇଙନ୍ ଡୁଆରାନ୍ ଆରିୟେନ୍ ଏତ୍ତେଲେମା ଲାଙ୍ଲେଡ୍ ମନ୍ରାଞ୍ଜି ଏର୍କନାବ୍ବାଡ଼ାନେନ୍ ଆତନଙନ୍ ଆଡ୍ରୋକଲଞ୍ଜି ଇୟ୍ଲେ ଗିଜେଜି । ତିଆସନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ ତି ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜିଆଡଙ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲେ ବରେଜି, ‘ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଇନିବା ଏର୍କନାବ୍ବାଡ଼ାନେନ୍ ତମ୍ପରୁବ୍ ତେନ୍ନେ ଆତନଙନ୍ ଏଡକୋତନେ?’
About the eleventh hour he went out and found still others standing around. ‘Why have you been standing here all day long doing nothing?’ he asked.
7 ତି ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜି ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଜାଲଙେଞ୍ଜି, ‘ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆନ୍ନିଙ୍ ଇନ୍ଲେଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ବଡିନ୍ ଅଃବ୍ବାଁୟ୍ଲଲେଞ୍ଜି ।’ ଆନିନ୍ ଆନିଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ବରେଞ୍ଜି, ‘ଏତ୍ତେଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ନିୟ୍ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ୟାକୋତ୍ତାନ୍ ଜିର୍ରେ ଇୟ୍ କାବ୍ବାଡ଼ାନାବା ।’”
‘Because no one has hired us,’ they answered. So he told them, ‘You also go into my vineyard.’
8 “ଆର୍ରୁବେନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ଲ୍ଲନ୍ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ୟାକୋତ୍ତାମରନ୍ ଆ ଗୁମୁସ୍ତାନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ବରେନ୍, ‘ବଡିମରଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ଓଡ୍ଡେଡାଲେ ଆତନିକ୍କି ଇଙନ୍ ଞନାରନ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ଉନେଞ୍ଜି ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜିଆଡଙ୍ ରୟ୍ ଆମ୍ମୁଙ୍ ବଡିନ୍ ତିୟାଜି, ସିଲଡ୍ଲ୍ଲନ୍ ଆନାଜି ଞନାରନ୍ ପର୍ତମ୍ମୁ ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ଉନେଜି ଆନିଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ବଡିନ୍ ତିୟାଜି ।’
When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, starting with the last ones hired and moving on to the first.’
9 ସିଲତ୍ତେ ଆନାଜି ମନ୍ଲୟ୍ ଗଣ୍ଟା ଇଙନ୍ ଞନାରନ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ଉନେଜି, ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ତଙ୍ବୟ୍ ରୁପାଡାବନ୍ ବଡିନ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ଜାଏଜି ।
The workers who were hired about the eleventh hour came and each received a denarius.
10 ଆରି ଆନାଜି ଞନାରନ୍ ପର୍ତମ୍ମୁ ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ଉନେଜି ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଗୋଗୋୟ୍ ଲେକାଁୟ୍ ବଡିନ୍ ଏଞାଙ୍ତାୟ୍ ଅବ୍ଡିସୟେଞ୍ଜି, ବନ୍ଡ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ନିୟ୍ ଅବୟ୍ ଲେକାଁୟ୍ ରୁପାଡାବନ୍ ବଡିନ୍ ଞାଙେଞ୍ଜି ।
So when the original workers came, they assumed they would receive more. But each of them also received a denarius.
11 ବନ୍ଡ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ତିଆତେ ଜାଏଞ୍ଜି କି ଅସିଙନ୍ ଆ ମୁଡ଼ମର୍ ଆ ବିରୁଦଲୋଙ୍ ଡୋସେଡାଲେ ବର୍ରଞ୍ଜି,
On receiving their pay, they began to grumble against the landowner.
12 ‘କେନ୍ ଆତନିକ୍କି ଇଙନ୍ ଞନାରନ୍ ଆରିୟ୍ଲାଞଞ୍ଜି ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜି ଆ ବଗଣ୍ଟାନ୍ ତୁମ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ କାବ୍ବାଡ଼ାନେଜି, ଇନ୍ଲେଞ୍ଜି ତମ୍ପରୁବ୍ ତମୋୟୋଙ୍ ଲନୁମ୍ଡାଲନ୍ ଡାଗାଲୋଙନ୍ ଉଙ୍ରୁଡନ୍ ଉଙ୍ବାଲନ୍ ଡେଲଲେନ୍ ଜନଙ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆମନ୍ ଇନ୍ଲେଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ସରିନ୍ ଅବ୍ସମାନଲଲେନ୍ ।’”
‘These men who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the scorching heat of the day.’
13 “ସିଲତ୍ତେ ସାଉକାରନ୍ ବଡିମରଞ୍ଜି ଆମଙ୍ଲୋଙ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଅବୟ୍ନେଆଡଙ୍ ଜାଲଙେନ୍, ‘ଏ ଗଡ଼ି, ଞେନ୍ ଆମନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଅଃବ୍ବୁର୍ଡଅମ୍, ଆମନ୍ ବମିୟ୍ତାନ୍ ବମନ୍ରାନ୍ ଅବୟ୍ ଲେକାଁୟ୍ ରୁପାଡାବନ୍ ପନାଙନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ବଡିନ୍ ଅଃନ୍ନବ୍ସିଡ୍ଡାୟ୍ଲୋ ପଙ୍?
But he answered one of them, ‘Friend, I am not being unfair to you. Did you not agree with me on one denarius?
14 ଅଙ୍ଗାତେ ଆମନ୍ଆତେ, ତିଆତେ ପାଙ୍ଲେ ଜିରା, ଞେନ୍ ଆମନ୍ ଡିଅଙ୍ଗା ବଡିନ୍ ତିୟ୍ଲମ୍, କେନ୍ ଆତନିକ୍କି ଇଙନ୍ ଞନାରନ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ଉନେଞ୍ଜି ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜିଆଡଙ୍ ନିୟ୍ ଡିୟ୍ତେ ମା ବଡିନ୍ ତନିୟନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଇସ୍ସୁମ୍ଞେନ୍ ।
Take your pay and go. I want to give this last man the same as I gave you.
15 ଅନର୍ଜେଞେନ୍ ଇସ୍ସୁମ୍ଞେନ୍ ବାତ୍ତେ ଞେନ୍ ଅରଃ କର୍ସଆଞନ୍? ଅଡ଼େ ଞେନ୍ ମନ୍ରାଞ୍ଜି ତରିୟ୍ତିୟ୍ତାଞଞ୍ଜି ଆସନ୍ ଆମନ୍ ଞେନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ସାଣ୍ଡତିଁୟ୍?’”
Do I not have the right to do as I please with what is mine? Or are you envious because I am generous?’
16 “ତିଆସନ୍ ଆତ୍ରିକ୍କିଏଞ୍ଜି ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜି ଆମ୍ମୁଙ୍ତଜି, ଆରି ଆରାମ୍ମୁଙେଞ୍ଜି ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜି ତିକ୍କିତଜି ।”
So the last will be first, and the first will be last.”
17 ଜିସୁନ୍ ଜିରୁସାଲମନ୍ ଆଜିର୍ରେନ୍ ଆଡିଡ୍ ତଙର୍ଲୋଙନ୍ ବାରଜଣ ଞଙ୍ନେମରଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ବ ଅନେଙ୍ଗଡ୍ ଓଡ୍ଡେଲେ ଓରୋଙ୍ଡାଲେ ଇୟ୍ଲେ ବରେଜି,
As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, He took the twelve disciples aside and said,
18 “ଗିୟ୍ବା, ଇନ୍ଲେଞ୍ଜି ଜିରୁସାଲମନ୍ ଜିର୍ତବୋ, ଆରି ମନ୍ରା ଡାଙ୍ଗଡ଼ାଅନନ୍ ସୋଡ଼ା ରାଓଡ଼ାଞ୍ଜି ଡ ସାସ୍ତ୍ରିଞ୍ଜି ଆସିଲୋଙ୍ ସୋରୋପ୍ପାୟ୍ତନେ, ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ରନବ୍ବୁନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଅବ୍ଡୋସାତଜି;
“Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes. They will condemn Him to death
19 ସିଲଡ୍ଲ୍ଲନ୍ ଏର୍ଜିଉଦିମରଞ୍ଜି ଆସିଲୋଙ୍ ସୋରୋପ୍ପାୟ୍ତଜି, ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ସୟ୍ସୟ୍ମୁତଜି, ସାମକାନ୍ ବାତ୍ତେ ତିଡ୍ତଜି କି ଆଅକ୍କାଡଙ୍ଲୋଙନ୍ ଅମ୍ଡାୟ୍ତଜି, ସିଲଡ୍ଲ୍ଲନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ ଏର୍ତାଲୋଙ୍ ୟର୍ମେଙ୍ଲେ ଡୋତନେ ।”
and will deliver Him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. And on the third day He will be raised to life.”
20 ତିଆଡିଡ୍ ଜେବଦିନ୍ ଆ ଡୁକ୍ରି, ବାଗୁ ଆ ଡାଙ୍ଗଡ଼ାଅନଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ସରିନ୍ ଓରୋଙ୍ଡାଲେ ଜିସୁନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ । ଆରି ଆନିନ୍ ଜିସୁନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ତୁଡ଼ୁମ୍ଡାଲେ ଲୋମ୍ଲେ ସନାୟୁମନ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ବେଡେ ।
Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Jesus with her sons and knelt down to make a request of Him.
21 ସିଲତ୍ତେ ଜିସୁନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ବରେନ୍, “ଆମନ୍ ଇନି ସାୟ୍ତେ?” ଆନିନ୍ ଜିସୁନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ବରେନ୍, “ରାଜ୍ୟଲୋଙ୍ନମ୍ କେନ୍ ବାଗୁ ଡାଙ୍ଗଡ଼ାଅନ୍ଞେଞ୍ଜି ଅର୍ଜଡ଼ୋମ୍ଗଡ୍ନମ୍ ଅବୟ୍ନେ, ଆରି ଅର୍କାବଡ଼ିଗଡ୍ନମ୍ ଅବୟ୍ନେ ତଙ୍କୁମେତଜି ।”
“What do you want?” He inquired. She answered, “Declare that in Your kingdom one of these two sons of mine may sit at Your right hand, and the other at Your left.”
22 ଜିସୁନ୍ ଜେବଦିନ୍ ଆ ଡାଙ୍ଗଡ଼ାଅନଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ଜାଲଙେଞ୍ଜି, “ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଇନି ଏବେଡ୍ତିଁୟ୍, ତିଆତେ ଞେନ୍ ଅଃଜ୍ଜନାଇଁୟ୍ । ଞେନ୍ ଅଙ୍ଗା ଗିଲ୍ଲଲୋଙ୍ ଗାତାୟ୍, ତେତ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ୱେନ୍ ଗାଲେ ଏରପ୍ତିତେ ପଙ୍?” ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଗାମେଞ୍ଜି, “ଗାଲେ ଏରପ୍ତିତାୟ୍ ।”
“You do not know what you are asking,” Jesus replied. “Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?” “We can,” the brothers answered.
23 ଜିସୁନ୍ ଆନିଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ବରେଞ୍ଜି, “ଆଜାଡ଼ିଡମ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଗିଲ୍ଲଲୋଙ୍ଞେନ୍ ଗାଲେ ଏରପ୍ତିତେ, ବନ୍ଡ ଅର୍ଜଡ଼ୋମ୍ଗଡ୍ଞେନ୍ ଡ ଅର୍କାବଡ଼ିଗଡ୍ଞେନ୍ ଆନ୍ନିଙ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଅନବ୍ତଙ୍କୁମନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଅଦିକାରଞେନ୍ ତଡ୍, ଆର୍ପାୟ୍ ଆନାଜି ଆସନ୍ ଆପେୟ୍ଞେନ୍ ତି ଆ ତରଙ୍କୁମ୍ ଅବ୍ଜାଡାଏନ୍ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ତୁମ୍ ତେତ୍ତେ ତଙ୍କୁମ୍ତଜି ।”
“You will indeed drink My cup,” Jesus said. “But to sit at My right or left is not Mine to grant. These seats belong to those for whom My Father has prepared them.”
24 ଆରି ଦସଜଣ ଞଙ୍ନେମରଞ୍ଜି କେନ୍ ଆ ବର୍ନେ ଆରମ୍ଡଙେଞ୍ଜି, ତି ବାଗୁ ବନୋଞାଙଞ୍ଜି ଆ ଉପରେଙ୍ ବରାବେଞ୍ଜି ।
When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers.
25 ସିଲତ୍ତେ ଜିସୁନ୍ ଆନିଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ଓଡ୍ଡେଲେ ବରେଞ୍ଜି, “କେନ୍ ପୁର୍ତିନ୍ ଆ ରାଜାଜି ମନ୍ରାଞ୍ଜି ଆମଙ୍ ଅଃପ୍ପୁର୍ପୁର୍ତଞ୍ଜି ଆରି ସୋଡ଼ାମରଞ୍ଜି ମନ୍ରାଞ୍ଜି ଆମଙ୍ ଅବ୍ସୋଡ଼ାସୋଡ଼ାତଞ୍ଜି, କେନ୍ଆତେ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଜନା ।
But Jesus called them aside and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their superiors exercise authority over them.
26 ବନ୍ଡ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଏଏତ୍ତେଡଙ୍ନେ, ଆରି ଅମଙ୍ଲୋଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଆନା ଅବ୍ସୋଡ଼ାନେନ୍ ସାୟ୍ତେ, ଆନିନ୍ ସନାକ୍କେମର୍ବେନ୍ ଡେଏତୋ,
It shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
27 ଆରି ଅମଙ୍ଲୋଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଆନା ଆମ୍ମୁଙ୍ଗଡ୍ନେନ୍ ସାୟ୍ତେ, ଆନିନ୍ କମ୍ୱାରିମର୍ବେନ୍ ଡେଏତୋ,
and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave—
28 କେନ୍ ଅନ୍ତମ୍ ମନ୍ରା ଡାଙ୍ଗଡ଼ାଅନନ୍ ନିୟ୍ ଅନବ୍ସାକ୍କେନେନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଅଃନ୍ନିୟ୍ଲାୟ୍, ଆର୍ପାୟ୍ ସନାକ୍କେବାନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଆରି ଗୋଗୋୟ୍ନେଡମ୍ ମନ୍ରାଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ତନାଣ୍ଡେବାନ୍ ଆ ପରାନ୍ନାନ୍ ତନିୟନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ।”
just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
29 ଜିସୁନ୍ ଡ ଞଙ୍ନେମରଞ୍ଜି ଜିରିଓ ଗଡ଼ାନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଡୁଙ୍ଲନ୍ ଆଜିର୍ରେଞ୍ଜି ଆଡିଡ୍ ଜବ୍ର ମନ୍ରା ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ସନ୍ଲେ ପାଙେଞ୍ଜି ।
As they were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed Him.
30 ଆରି ଗିୟ୍ବା, ବାଗୁ କାଡ଼ୁମରଞ୍ଜି ଅନେଙ୍ ରୋତ୍ତନ୍ ଆତଙ୍କୁମ୍ ଡକୋଲଞ୍ଜି, ଜିସୁନ୍ ତି ଆ ରୋତ୍ତ ଗଡ୍ ଜିର୍ତେ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଆରମ୍ଡଙେଞ୍ଜି, ବାବ୍ବାବ୍ଲେ ବର୍ରଞ୍ଜି, “ଏ ପ୍ରବୁ, ଦାଉଦନ୍ ଆ ଡାଙ୍ଗଡ଼ାଅନ୍, ଇନ୍ଲେନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ସାୟୁମ୍ଲେନ୍ ।”
And there were two blind men sitting beside the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
31 ମନ୍ରାଞ୍ଜି ଆନିଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ କଡ଼ିଙ୍ଲେ ଡକୋନେନ୍ ଆସନ୍ କଞେଞ୍ଜି, ବନ୍ଡ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଆରି ବାବ୍ବାବ୍ଲେ ବର୍ରଞ୍ଜି, “ଏ ପ୍ରବୁ, ଦାଉଦନ୍ ଆ ଡାଙ୍ଗଡ଼ାଅନ୍, ଇନ୍ଲେନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ସାୟୁମ୍ଲେନ୍ ।”
The crowd admonished them to be silent, but they cried out all the louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
32 ସିଲତ୍ତେ ଜିସୁନ୍ ତନଙେନ୍ କି ଆନିଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ଓଡ୍ଡେଡାଲେ ବରେଞ୍ଜି, “ଞେନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଆସନ୍ ଇନି ଲୁମାୟ୍ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଲଡୟ୍ତବେନ୍?”
Jesus stopped and called them. “What do you want Me to do for you?” He asked.
33 ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଜିସୁନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ବରେଞ୍ଜି, “ଏ ପ୍ରବୁ ଅମଡ୍ଲେନ୍ ରୋଲେନ୍ ।”
“Lord,” they answered, “let our eyes be opened.”
