ଜାକୁବ 4
1 ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ତର୍ଡମ୍ ଇନିବା ଏଲ୍ଜୁଜ୍ଜେତେ, ଏଗୋଡ଼େତନ୍? ଉଗର୍ଲୋଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଡଅଙ୍ଡାଗୋ ଆ କାବ୍ବାଡ଼ାଜି ଆସନ୍ ଅନିଃୟମ୍ଲୋଙନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ କେନ୍ଆତେ ଡୁଙ୍ତନାୟ୍ ।
Whence [come] wars and whence [come] fightings among you? [come they] not hence, [even] of your pleasures that war in your members?
2 ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେନ୍ ଇନିଜି ଏସାୟ୍ତେ, ତିଆତେ ଏଃଞାଙେ, ତିଆସନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ସନମ୍ୱବନ୍ ଏସାୟ୍ତେ, ଆରି ଇସ୍କତ୍ତାନ୍ ଡୁଙ୍ତନାୟ୍; ଅଙ୍ଗାଆତେ ଆମ୍ୱେନ୍ ଗୋଗୋୟ୍ ଲଡୟ୍ତବେନ୍, ତିଆତେ ଞାଙ୍ଲେ ଏଃର୍ରପ୍ତିଲୋ ଡେନ୍, ତର୍ଡମ୍ ଏଲ୍ବାଡ୍ଡେତେ, ଏଲ୍ଜୁଜ୍ଜେତେ; ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଏଃବ୍ବେଡେ, ତିଆସନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଏଃଞାଙେ ।
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and covet, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war; ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 ଆରି, ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଏବେଡେନ୍ ଜନଙ୍ଡେନ୍ ଏଃଞାଙେ, ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଅନିଃୟମ୍ବେନ୍ ପରାନ୍ସାତ୍ତିନ୍, ଆରି ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଡଅଙ୍ଡାଗୋ ଆ ସୁକ୍କ ଆସନ୍ ଏବେଡ୍ତେ ।
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may spend [it] in your pleasures.
4 ଏ ଜୋଣ୍ତଡ଼ିବୟ୍ଜି, ପୁର୍ତିନ୍ ବୟନ୍ ସାଙ୍ଗଲନ୍ବୋ ଡେନ୍, ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ବୟନ୍ ବନେରା ଡେଡେଲଙ୍ତନ୍, କେନ୍ଆତେ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଅଃଜ୍ଜନାବେନ୍ ପଙ୍? ତିଆସନ୍, ଆନା ପୁର୍ତିନ୍ ବୟନ୍ ସାଙ୍ଗନେନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଲଡୟ୍ତେ, ଆନିନ୍ ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆ ବନେରାମର୍ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଜନାଏତୋ ।
Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.
5 ଅଡ଼େ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଡରମ୍ମ ସାସ୍ତ୍ରଲୋଙନ୍ ଆଇଡିଡନ୍ କେନ୍ ଆ ବର୍ନେଜି କାଜ୍ଜାନ୍ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଏବ୍ଡିସୟ୍ତେ ପଙ୍? “ଅଙ୍ଗା ପୁରାଡ଼ା ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଅମଙ୍ଲେନ୍ ଡକୋନେନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ତିୟ୍ତିୟ୍ଲଙ୍ଲନ୍, ଆନିନ୍ ଇନ୍ଲେନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ସମ୍ପରାନ୍ ଡକୋନେନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଲଡୟ୍ତେ ।”
Or think ye that the scripture speaketh in vain? Doth the spirit which he made to dwell in us long unto envying?
6 ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଅଙ୍ଗା ସନାୟୁମ୍ ତିୟ୍ତିୟ୍ଲଙ୍ତନ୍, ତିଆତେ ବୋର୍ସାଡମ୍, ତିଆସନ୍ ସାସ୍ତ୍ରଲୋଙନ୍ ଆଇଡିଡ୍, “ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ କଙ୍କ୍ରିମରଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ଡଙ୍ଡଙ୍ତଜି, ବନ୍ଡ ଲବଡ୍ଡିମରଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ସନାୟୁମନ୍ ତିୟ୍ତଜି ।”
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore [the scripture] saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.
7 ତିଆସନ୍, ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ତିୟ୍ଡମ୍ନାବା, ସନୁମନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଗଙ୍ବା, ଏତ୍ତେଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ସଙାୟ୍ତେ ।
Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଅବ୍ତୁୟାୟ୍ନାବା, ଆରି ଆନିନ୍ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଅବ୍ତୁୟାୟ୍ତନେ, ଏ ଇର୍ସେମର୍ଜି, ଅସିବେନ୍ ଗିୟ୍ଡାବା, ଏ ବାଗୁ ମନ୍ନାମର୍ଜି, ଉଗର୍ବେନ୍ ମଡ଼ିର୍ ଅମ୍ମେବା ।
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye doubleminded.
9 ଇୟମ୍ ଇୟମ୍ଲେ ୟେବା, ୟେୟେଡାନାବା, ଆମଡ୍ଡାବେନ୍ ଜବ୍ରଡ୍ଲେ ୟେବା, କନିୟ୍ବେନ୍ ୟେୟେଡାନ୍ ଗଡେଲେତୋ, ଆରି ସନର୍ଡାବେନ୍ ସନିନ୍ତାନ୍ ଗଡେଲେତୋ ।
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 ପ୍ରବୁନ୍ ଆ ମୁକ୍କାବା ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଅବ୍ସନ୍ନାଡମ୍ନାବା, ଏତ୍ତେଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ତୋଣ୍ଡୋନ୍ ଅମ୍ଡାୟ୍ତବେନ୍ ।
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall exalt you.
11 ଏ ବୋଞାଙ୍ଜି, ତନାନ୍ଜି, ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଏଲ୍ନିଣ୍ଡୟ୍ଡଙ୍, ଆନା ବୋଞାଙନ୍ ଆ ଡୋସା ଞମ୍ଲେ ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ନିଣ୍ଡୟ୍ତେ, ଆନିନ୍ ମୋସାନ୍ ଆ ବନାଁୟ୍ବର୍ ଆ ଡୋସା ଞମ୍ଲେ, ତିଆତେ ନିଣ୍ଡୟ୍ତେ, ତିଆସନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଏତ୍ତେଲେ ଏଲ୍ନିଣ୍ଡୟେନ୍ ଡେନ୍, ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଆରି ବନାଁୟ୍ବରନ୍ ଏଃଞଣ୍ଡ୍ରମ୍ନେ, ଆର୍ପାୟ୍ ବନାଁୟ୍ବରନ୍ ଆ ଡୋସା ଞମ୍ଲେ, ବନାଁୟ୍ବରନ୍ ଆ ନିଣ୍ଡୟ୍ମର୍ ଡେତବେନ୍ ।
Speak not one against another, brethren. He that speaketh against a brother, or judgeth his brother, speaketh against the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judgest the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12 ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ତୁମ୍ ଅବୟ୍ନେ ବନାଁୟ୍ବରନ୍ ବିସାରତେ, ଆନିନ୍ ବନାଁୟ୍ବରନ୍ ତିୟ୍ତିୟ୍ଲଙ୍ଲନ୍, ଆନିନ୍ ଡୋବ୍ଲେ ରପ୍ତିତେ, ଅବ୍ସେଡ୍ଲେ ରପ୍ତିତେ; ତୟ୍ଲିସିଂମର୍ବେନ୍ ଆ ଡୋସା ଞମ୍ଞମନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେନ୍ ଆନା?
One [only] is the lawgiver and judge, [even] he who is able to save and to destroy: but who art thou that judgest thy neighbour?
13 ନମି ଗିୟ୍ବା, ଆନାଜି “ଲଙେ ଇଜ୍ଜାନ୍ଡେନ୍ ବିଅଡ଼େଃ ଇନ୍ଲେଞ୍ଜି ଅବୟ୍ ଗଡ଼ାନ୍ ଏଇୟ୍ତେ ଆରି ତେତ୍ତେ ବବର୍ସେଙ୍ ଡକୋଲନ୍ ବେପାରଲନ୍ ଏଲାବତନାୟ୍” ଏଗାମ୍ତେ ।
Go to now, ye that say, Today or tomorrow we will go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and get gain:
14 ବନ୍ଡ ବିଅଡ଼େଃ ଇନି ଡେତେ, ତିଆତେ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଜନାଜି ତଡ୍; ଅନମେଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଇନି? ତିଆତେ ପୋୟ୍ଡାନ୍ ଅନ୍ତମ୍, ବସନ୍ନେଃ ଗିୟ୍ତାତେ, ଆରି ବସନ୍ନେଃ ମାୟାତେ ।
whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. What is your life? For ye are a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 ତିଆସନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଏନ୍ନେଲେ ବର୍ନାବା, “ପ୍ରବୁନ୍ ଆ ଇସ୍ସୁମ୍ ଡେଏନ୍ ଡେନ୍, ଇନ୍ଲେଞ୍ଜି ଆମେଙ୍ ଡକୋଲନ୍ କେନ୍ଆତେ ଏଲୁମ୍ବା ଇଜ୍ଜାନ୍ଡେନ୍ ତିଆତେ ଏଲୁମ୍ବା ।”
For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall both live, and do this or that.
16 ବନ୍ଡ ନମି ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି କଙ୍କ୍ରିଡାଲନ୍ ଏଦର୍ପତନେ, କେନ୍ ଏନ୍ନେଲେ ଆ ଦର୍ପନେ ମନଙ୍ ତଡ୍ ।
But now ye glory in your vauntings: all such glorying is evil.
17 ତିଆସନ୍, ଅଙ୍ଗା ମନ୍ରା ମନଙ୍ଲୁମନ୍ ଜନାଏନ୍ ଜନଙ୍ଡେନ୍ ତିଆତେ ଅଃଲ୍ଲୁମେ, ଆନିନ୍ ଇର୍ସେନ୍ ଲୁମ୍ତେ ।
To him therefore that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
