1 ଏ ପସିୟ୍ଞେଞ୍ଜି, ଏଙ୍ଗାଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଇର୍ସେନ୍ ଏଃଲ୍ଲୁମେ, ତିଆସନ୍ ଞେନ୍ କେନ୍ ଅଡ଼୍କୋନ୍ ଇଡ୍ଲେ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଆପ୍ପାୟ୍ତାୟ୍ । ଆରି ଆନ୍ନିଙ୍ ଇର୍ସେନ୍ ଲୁମେନ୍ ଡେନ୍, ଏତ୍ତେଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆପେୟ୍ଲେନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଅବୟ୍ ଡନେମର୍ଲେନ୍ ଡକୋ, ଆନିନ୍ ଡରମ୍ମମର୍ ଜିସୁ କ୍ରିସ୍ଟନ୍ ।
My dear children, I am writing these things to you so that you not sin; if someone does sin, we have an Advocate in the Father's presence, righteous Jesus Christ—
2 ଆରି, ଆନିନ୍ ଇର୍ସେଲେଞ୍ଜି ଆସନ୍, ସତ୍ତର୍ ଇର୍ସେଲେଞ୍ଜି ତୁମ୍ ଆସନ୍ ତଡ୍, ଆର୍ପାୟ୍ ସମ୍ପରା ପୁର୍ତିନ୍ ଆ ଇର୍ସେ ଆସନ୍ ନିୟ୍ ତିୟ୍ଡମ୍ଲନ୍ ।
also, He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; not concerning ours only but also concerning those of the whole world.
3 ଇନ୍ଲେଞ୍ଜି ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆ ବନାଁୟ୍ବର୍ ମାନ୍ନେଲବୋ ଡେନ୍, ଇନ୍ଲେଞ୍ଜି ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଜନାଲେ ରପ୍ତିତବୋ ।
Now by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.
4 ଅଙ୍ଗା ମନ୍ରା ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆ ବନାଁୟ୍ବର୍ ଏର୍ମନାନ୍ନେନ୍, ଞେନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଜନା ଗାମ୍ଲେ ବର୍ତନ୍, ଆନିନ୍ ପାତ୍ୟାମର୍, ଆ ଆମଙନ୍ ଆଜାଡ଼ିବରନ୍ ଅବୟ୍ ତଡ୍ ।
He who says, “I have come to know Him,” yet does not keep His commandments, is a liar and the Truth is not in him.
5 ବନ୍ଡ ଅଙ୍ଗା ମନ୍ରା ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆ ବର୍ନେ ମାନ୍ନେତେ, ତି ଆ ମନ୍ରା ଆମଙ୍ ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆ ଡନୁଙ୍ୟମ୍ ଆଜାଡ଼ିଡମ୍ ସତଙେନ୍ । ଇନ୍ଲେଞ୍ଜି ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଡକୋ ଗାମ୍ଲେ, କେନ୍ ବାତ୍ତେ ଇନ୍ଲେନ୍ ଜନାଲଙ୍ତନ୍ ।
But whoever keeps His Word, God's love has truly been perfected in him: by this we know that we are in Him.
6 ଆନା ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଡକୋ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ବର୍ତନ୍, ଆନିନ୍ ଜିସୁ କ୍ରିସ୍ଟନ୍ ଅନ୍ତମ୍ ଞଣ୍ଡ୍ରମ୍ନେତୋ ।
He who claims to be abiding in Him really needs to act just like He acted.
7 ଏ ଗଡ଼ିଞେଞ୍ଜି, ଞେନ୍ ନମି ଇନ୍ନିଙ୍ ରଙ୍ ବନାଁୟ୍ବରଞ୍ଜି ଇଡ୍ଲେ ଅମଙ୍ନମ୍ ଅଃନ୍ନାପ୍ପାୟାୟ୍, ଆର୍ପାୟ୍ ଆମ୍ମୁଙ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଅଙ୍ଗା ବନାଁୟ୍ବର୍ ଏଞାଙେନ୍, ତିଆତେ ମା ଇଡ୍ଲେ ଆପ୍ପାୟ୍ତାୟ୍; ତି ଆ ଞନଙ୍ଞଙ୍ବର୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଆମ୍ମୁଙ୍ ଏଅମ୍ଡଙେନ୍, ତିଆତେ ମା ପାପୁର୍ ବନାଁୟ୍ବରନ୍ ।
Brothers, I am not writing a new commandment to you but an old one that you have had from the beginning; this old commandment is the word that you have heard from the beginning.
8 ବନ୍ଡ କେନ୍ଆତେ ଅବୟ୍ ରଙ୍ ବନାଁୟ୍ବରନ୍ ଅନ୍ତମ୍ ଇଡ୍ଲେ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଆପ୍ପାୟ୍ତାୟ୍, କେନ୍ଆତେ କ୍ରିସ୍ଟନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଡ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଆଜାଡ଼ିନ୍ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଗିୟ୍ତାତେ; ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଲୋଙଡନ୍ ଡେଲ୍ଲନ୍ ଜିର୍ତେ ଆରି ଆଜାଡ଼ିନ୍ ଆ ସନାଆର୍ ଗିୟ୍ତାଏନ୍ ।
Again, I am writing a new commandment to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true Light is already shining.
9 ଅଙ୍ଗା ମନ୍ରା ଞେନ୍ ଆ ସାଆର୍ଲୋଙ୍ ଡକୋ ଗାମ୍ତେ, ବନ୍ଡ ଆନିନ୍ ଆ ବୋଞାଙନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଏଡ଼ୁର୍ମଡ୍ତେ, ଏତ୍ତେଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ ନମିନ୍ତାନ୍ ଆ ଲୋଙଡ୍ଲୋଙନ୍ ଡକୋ ।
He who claims to be in the Light while hating his brother is in the darkness until now.
10 ଅଙ୍ଗା ମନ୍ରା ଆ ବୋଞାଙନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଡୁଙ୍ୟମ୍ତେ, ଆନିନ୍ ଆ ସାଆର୍ଲୋଙନ୍ ଡକୋତନ୍, ଆରି ଆନିନ୍ ଅଃତ୍ତୁଡ୍ଡୁବେ ।
He who keeps on loving his brother is staying in the Light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him.
11 ବନ୍ଡ ଅଙ୍ଗା ମନ୍ରା ଆ ବୋଞାଙନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଏଡ଼ୁର୍ମଡ୍ତେ, ଆନିନ୍ ଲୋଙଡ୍ଲୋଙନ୍ ଡକୋ, ଆରି ଲୋଙଡ୍ଲୋଙନ୍ ବୁଲ୍ଲେଲେ ଅଡ଼େଙ୍ଗା ଜିର୍ତେ, ତିଆତେ ଆନିନ୍ ଅଃଜ୍ଜନାଏ, ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଲୋଙଡନ୍ ତି ଆମଡନ୍ ଅବ୍କାଡ଼ୁଏନ୍ ।
But he who keeps on hating his brother is in the darkness and keeps walking in the darkness; he does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
12 ଏ ପସିୟ୍ଞେଞ୍ଜି, ଞେନ୍ କେନ୍ ଆ ସିଟି ଇଡ୍ଲେ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଆପ୍ପାୟ୍ତାୟ୍, ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଜିସୁନ୍ ଆଞୁମ୍ ଅମ୍ମେଲେ ଇର୍ସେବେନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି କେମାନ୍ ଏଞାଙେନ୍ ।
Dear children, I am writing to you because your sins have been forgiven for His name's sake
13 ଏ ଆପେୟ୍ଜି, ଞେନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଆସନ୍ ଇଡ୍ତାୟ୍, ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆନା ଆମ୍ମୁଙ୍ ମା ସିଲଡ୍ ଡକୋ, ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଜନାଜି । ଏ ବେଣ୍ଡିଆସିୟ୍ଜି, ଞେନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଇଡ୍ତାୟ୍, ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଇର୍ସେ ପୁରାଡ଼ାନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଜିନୟ୍ଲବେନ୍ ।
—fathers, I am writing to you because you have come to know Him who is from the beginning; young men, I am writing to you because you have overcome the evil one; children, I am writing to you because you have come to know the Father—
14 ଏ ପସିୟ୍ଞେଞ୍ଜି, ଞେନ୍ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଇଡ୍ଲେ ଆପ୍ପାୟ୍ତାୟ୍, ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଆପେୟନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଆଜନାଜି । ଏ ଆପେୟ୍ଜି, ଞେନ୍ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଇଡ୍ଲାୟ୍, ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆନା ଆମ୍ମୁଙ୍ ମା ସିଲଡ୍ ଡକୋ, ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଆଜନାଜି, ଏ ବେଣ୍ଡିଆସିୟ୍ଜି, ଞେନ୍ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଇଡ୍ଲାୟ୍, ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ବୋର୍ସାଜି, ଆରି ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆ ବର୍ନେ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଡକୋ ଆରି ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଇର୍ସେ ପୁରାଡ଼ାନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଜିନୟ୍ଲବେନ୍ ।
fathers, I have written to you because you have come to know Him who is from the beginning; young men, I have written to you because you are strong, and the Word of God remains in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
15 ପୁର୍ତିନ୍ ଡ ତେତ୍ତେ ଡକୋନ୍ଆତେଜି ଅଡ଼୍କୋନ୍ ଏଡୁଙ୍ୟମ୍ଡଙ୍ । ଆନା ପୁର୍ତିନ୍ ଡୁଙ୍ୟମ୍ତେ, ଆପେୟନ୍ ଆ ଡନୁଙ୍ୟମ୍ ଆମଙନ୍ ଅବୟ୍ ତଡ୍ ।
Do not love the world, neither the things in the world; if anyone loves the world, the Father's love is not in him.
16 ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଡଅଙ୍ଡାଗୋ ପରାନ୍ସାତ୍ତିନ୍ ଆ କାବ୍ବାଡ଼ା, ଗନିୟ୍ମଡନ୍ ଡ କାଜ୍ଜାନ୍ ଗର୍ବନେନ୍, କେନ୍ଆତେଜି ଅଡ଼୍କୋନ୍ ଆପେୟ୍ ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଅଃଡ୍ଡୁଙ୍ଲନାୟ୍, ବନ୍ଡ ପୁର୍ତିନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଡୁଙ୍ତନାୟ୍ ।
Because everything in the world—the craving of the flesh and the craving of the eyes and the pretension of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.
17 ଆରି, ପୁର୍ତିନ୍ ଡ ତେତ୍ତେ ଡକୋନ୍ ପରାନ୍ସାତ୍ତିନ୍ ଆ କାବ୍ବାଡ଼ାଜି ଅଡ଼୍କୋନ୍ ମାୟାତେ, ବନ୍ଡ ଆନା ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆ ଇସ୍ସୁମ୍ ମାନ୍ନେତେ, ଆନିନ୍ ଆଏଡ଼ର୍ ଡକୋତନ୍ । (aiōn g165)
The world, with its craving, is passing away, but he who does God's will remains forever. (aiōn g165)
18 ଏ ପସିୟ୍ଞେଞ୍ଜି, ଅନଞିଡ୍ ଡିନ୍ନାନ୍ ଅଡ଼ୋଲାୟ୍, ଆରି କଣ୍ଡାୟ୍ କ୍ରିସ୍ଟନ୍ ଜିର୍ତାୟ୍ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଏଙ୍ଗାଲେ ଏଅମ୍ଡଙେନ୍, ଏତ୍ତେଲେ ନମି ନିୟ୍ ଗୋଗୋୟ୍ଡମ୍ କଣ୍ଡାୟ୍ କ୍ରିସ୍ଟାନୁମରଞ୍ଜି ଡୁଙ୍ଲନାଜି; ତିଆସନ୍ ଅନଞିଡ୍ ଡିନ୍ନାନ୍ ଅଡ଼ୋଲାୟ୍ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଇନ୍ଲେଞ୍ଜି ଜନାଲଙ୍ତନ୍ ।
Children, it is the last hour, and just as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared, by which we know that it is the last hour.
19 ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଅମଙ୍ବାଲେନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଡୁଙ୍ଲନାୟ୍ଜି, ବନ୍ଡ ଆଜାଡ଼ିଡମ୍ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ମରାୟ୍ନେମର୍ଲେଞ୍ଜି ଅଃଡ୍ଡକୋଲଜି, ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ମରାୟ୍ନେଲେନ୍ ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜି ନଙ୍, ଏତ୍ତେଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଇନ୍ଲେଞ୍ଜି ସରିନ୍ ମାୟ୍ଲନ୍ ଡକୋତଞ୍ଜି ବନ୍, ବନ୍ଡ ଅଡ଼୍କୋଞ୍ଜି ମରାୟ୍ନେଲେନ୍ ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜି ତଡ୍, ଏଙ୍ଗାଲ୍ଡେନ୍ କେନ୍ଆତେ ଜନାଲଙ୍ନେ, ତିଆସନ୍ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଡୁଙ୍ଲନ୍ ଜିରେଞ୍ଜି ।
They went out from us but were not of us, for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us—they left so that they might be exposed, that none of them were of us.
20 ଆରି ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି କ୍ରିସ୍ଟନ୍ ଆ ସନାୟୁମ୍ ଅମ୍ମେଲେ ମଡ଼ିର୍ ପୁରାଡ଼ାନ୍ ବାତ୍ତେ ଅବିସେକ ଡେଲବେନ୍, ତିଆସନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଅଡ଼୍କୋନ୍ବେନ୍ ଗିଆନନ୍ ଏଞାଙେନ୍ ।
You have an Anointing from the Holy One and understand all.
21 ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଆଜାଡ଼ିନ୍ ଅଃଜ୍ଜନାଲବେନ୍, ତିଆସନ୍ ଞେନ୍ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ କେନ୍ ଆ ସିଟି ଇଡ୍ଲେ ଆପ୍ପାୟ୍ଲାୟ୍, ଏତ୍ତେଲେ ତଡ୍; ଆର୍ପାୟ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଆଜାଡ଼ିନ୍ ଏଜନାଏନ୍, ଆରି ଆଜାଡ଼ିନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଇନ୍ନିଙ୍ ପାତ୍ୟାନ୍ ଅଃଡ୍ଡୁଙ୍ନାୟ୍ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଏଜନାଏନ୍, ତିଆସନ୍ ଞେନ୍ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ କେନ୍ ଆ ସିଟି ଇଡ୍ଲେ ଆପ୍ପାୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ।
I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the Truth.
22 ଜିସୁନ୍ ମା କ୍ରିସ୍ଟନ୍, ଅଙ୍ଗା ମନ୍ରା କେନ୍ ଆ ବର୍ନେ ଇଜ୍ଜା ଗାମ୍ତେ; ଆନିନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଆରି ପାତ୍ୟାମର୍ ଆନ୍ନିଙ୍ ତଡ୍; ଅଙ୍ଗା ମନ୍ରା ଆପେୟନ୍ ଡ ଡାଙ୍ଗଡ଼ାଅନନ୍ ଇଜ୍ଜା ଗାମ୍ତେ ଆନିନ୍ ମା କଣ୍ଡାୟ୍ କ୍ରିସ୍ଟାନୁମର୍ ।
Who is the liar but the one denying that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Antichrist, the one denying the Father and the Son.
23 ଅଙ୍ଗା ମନ୍ରା ଡାଙ୍ଗଡ଼ାଅନନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଅଃଜ୍ଜାଏ, ଆନିନ୍ ଆପେୟନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଅଣ୍ଡ୍ରଙ୍ ଞାଙେ, ଅଙ୍ଗା ମନ୍ରା ଡାଙ୍ଗଡ଼ାଅନନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଜାତେ, ଆନିନ୍ ଆପେୟନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ନିୟ୍ ଞାଙେନ୍ ।
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either.
24 ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଆମ୍ମୁଙ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଇନିଜି ଏଅମ୍ଡଙେନ୍, ତିଆତେ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଡକୋନେତୋ । ଆମ୍ୱେନ୍ ଆମ୍ମୁଙ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଇନିଜି ଏଅମ୍ଡଙେନ୍, ତିଆତେ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଡକୋଏନ୍ ଡେନ୍, ଏତ୍ତେଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ନିୟ୍ ଡାଙ୍ଗଡ଼ାଅନ୍ଜି, ଆରି ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଆପେୟନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଏଡକୋତନ୍ ।
So you, let what you have heard from the beginning abide in you; if what you have heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Father and in the Son.
This is the promise that He Himself promised us—the eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
26 ଅଙ୍ଗା ମନ୍ରାଜି ଆମ୍ବେଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ କନଣ୍ଡାୟନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଏର୍ତଜି ଗୋୟ୍ତଜି, ତି ଆ ବର୍ନେଞ୍ଜି ଞେନ୍ କେନ୍ ଅଡ଼୍କୋନ୍ ଇଡ୍ଲେ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଆପ୍ପାୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ।
I have written these things to you concerning those who are trying to deceive you;
27 ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି କ୍ରିସ୍ଟନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ମଡ଼ିର୍ ପୁରାଡ଼ାନ୍ ଏଞାଙେନ୍, ତିଆତେ ଅମଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଡକୋ, ଆନ୍ନିଙ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ଞନଙନ୍ ତିୟ୍ଡଙ୍ବେନ୍ ତଡ୍, ତି ମଡ଼ିର୍ ପୁରାଡ଼ାନ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ଅଙ୍ଗାଆତେ ଞନଙନ୍ ତିୟ୍ତବେନ୍, ତିଆତେଜି ଆଜାଡ଼ିଡମ୍, ପାତ୍ୟା ତଡ୍; ତିଆସନ୍ ତି ଆ ଞନଙ୍ ଅନ୍ତମ୍ ଆମଙନ୍ ଡକୋନାବା ।
but really, you do not need anyone to teach you, because the Anointing that you received from Him abides in you; further, as the same Anointing teaches you concerning all things, and it is true and no lie—well just as He has taught you, you will abide in Him.
28 ଏ ପସିୟ୍ଞେଞ୍ଜି, କ୍ରିସ୍ଟନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଡକୋନାବା, ଏତ୍ତେଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ ଅଙ୍ଗା ଆଡିଡ୍ ଅବ୍ଗିୟ୍ତାଲନ୍ ଜିର୍ତାୟ୍, ତି ଆଡିଡ୍ ଆ ମୁକ୍କାବାନ୍ ଇନ୍ଲେନ୍ ଅଃଗରୟ୍ଡାଲଙ୍ନେ, ଆର୍ପାୟ୍ ବୋର୍ସାଲଙ୍ତନ୍ ।
And now, dear children, do abide in Him, so that whenever He appears we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
29 କ୍ରିସ୍ଟନ୍ ଡରମ୍ମମର୍ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଜନାଜି, ତିଆସନ୍ ଆନା ଡରମ୍ମ କାବ୍ବାଡ଼ାଞ୍ଜି ଲୁମ୍ତେ, ଆନିନ୍ ନିୟ୍ ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆଅନ୍ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଜନାବେନ୍ତୋ ।
If you have understood that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness has been begotten by Him.
