୧ କରନ୍ତି 8
1 ଜନୋମ୍ଜୋମଞ୍ଜି କୋଙ୍ଡାୟ୍ସୁମନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଆରମଙ୍ତେଞ୍ଜି ଆ ବର୍ନେ ବର୍ତନାୟ୍ । ଅଡ଼୍କୋନ୍ଲେନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଗିଆନନ୍ ଡକୋ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଇନ୍ଲେନ୍ ଜନା; ମନ୍ରାନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଗିଆନନ୍ ଡକୋଏନ୍ ଡେନ୍, ଆନିନ୍ କଙ୍କ୍ରିତନ୍, ବନ୍ଡ ଡନୁଙ୍ୟମନ୍ ମନ୍ରାନ୍ ମବ୍ରଙ୍ତେ ।
Now concerning things sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but love edifieth.
2 ଅବୟ୍ ମନ୍ରାନ୍, ଇନ୍ନିଙ୍ ଆ ବର୍ନେଲୋଙ୍ ଞେନ୍ ଜନା ଗାମ୍ଡମ୍ଲନ୍ ଡେନ୍, ଆଜାଡ଼ିନ୍ ବର୍ତନାୟ୍, ଆନିନ୍ ଇନି ଜନନାନ୍ ସନାୟ୍ସାୟ୍, ତିଆତେ ଆନିନ୍ ନମିନ୍ତାନ୍ ଇନ୍ନିଙ୍ ଜନା ତଡ୍ ।
If any man thinketh that he knoweth anything, he knoweth not yet as he ought to know;
3 ବନ୍ଡ ଆନା ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଡୁଙ୍ୟମ୍ତେ, ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଅମ୍ମଡ୍ତେ ।
but if any man loveth God, the same is known of him.
4 କୋଙ୍ଡାୟ୍ସୁମନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଆରମଙ୍ତେଞ୍ଜି ଆ ଜନୋମ୍ଜି ଆ ବର୍ନେ ଇନ୍ଲେନ୍ ଜନା; ପୁର୍ତିଲୋଙନ୍ କୋଙ୍ଡାୟ୍ସୁମନ୍ ଇନ୍ନିଙ୍ ବରାଁୟ୍ବାଁୟ୍ ତଡ୍, ଆବୟନ୍ ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ତୁମ୍ ଡକୋ, ଆରି ଆନ୍ନିଙ୍ ତଡ୍ ।
Concerning therefore the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is [anything] in the world, and that there is no God but one.
5 ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍, ରୁଆଙ୍ଲୋଙନ୍ ଡେଏତୋ କି ପୁର୍ତିଲୋଙନ୍ ଡେଏତୋ, ଆନାଜିଆଡଙ୍ “ସନୁମ୍” ଗାମ୍ଲେ ବର୍ତଞ୍ଜି, ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଅଲ୍ଡକୋଏଜି, ଆରି କେନ୍ ଏନ୍ନେଗନ୍ ଗୋଗୋୟ୍ଡମ୍ “ସନୁମଞ୍ଜି” ଡ “ବୋଗବାନଞ୍ଜି” ଡକୋଜି;
For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or on earth; as there are gods many, and lords many;
6 ଡେଲୋଜନଙ୍ଡେନ୍ ଇସ୍ୱରଲେନ୍ ଆବୟନ୍ ଡକୋ, ଆମଙନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଅଡ଼୍କୋନ୍ଆତେ ଗଡେଲେନ୍ ଆରି ଆନିନ୍ ଅମ୍ମେଲେ ଇନ୍ଲେନ୍ ଆମେଙ୍ ଡକୋଜି; ଆରି ଜିସୁ କ୍ରିସ୍ଟନ୍ ତୁମ୍ ଆବୟନ୍ ପ୍ରବୁଲେନ୍, ଆନିନ୍ ଅଡ଼୍କୋନ୍ ଗବ୍ଡେଲେନ୍ ଆରି ଆନିନ୍ ଅମ୍ମେଲେ ଇନ୍ଲେନ୍ ଆମେଙ୍ ଡକୋଜି ।
yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we unto him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we through him.
7 ବନ୍ଡ ଅଡ଼୍କୋ ମନ୍ରାନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ କେନ୍ ଆ ଗିଆନ ଅବୟ୍ ତଡ୍, ଆରି ଲାଙ୍ଲେଡ୍ ମନ୍ରାଞ୍ଜି ନମିନ୍ତାନ୍ କୋଙ୍ଡାୟ୍ସୁମନ୍ ଡକୋ ଗାମ୍ଲେ କୋଙ୍ଡାୟ୍ସୁମନ୍ ଆ ମୁକ୍କାବା ଆରମଙ୍ତେଞ୍ଜି ଆ ଜନୋମ୍ଜି ଜୋମ୍ତଜି, ସିଲଡ୍ଲ୍ଲନ୍ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ବିବେକତଡନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଇର୍ସେନ୍ ଲୁମ୍ତଜି ।
Howbeit in all men there is not that knowledge: but some, being used until now to the idol, eat as [of] a thing sacrificed to an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
8 ଜନୋମ୍ଜୋମଞ୍ଜି ବାତ୍ତେ ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଇନ୍ଲେନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଜାଜାଲଙ୍ତନ୍, ଅଃଜ୍ଜାଜାଲଙ୍ନେ, ଏତ୍ତେଲେ ତଡ୍; ଅନ୍ନିଙ୍ ଆ ଜନୋମ୍ଜୋମ୍ ଜୋମ୍ଲବୋ ଡେନ୍, ଇନ୍ଲେନ୍ ଇନ୍ନିଙ୍ ଅଃଲ୍ଲାବଲଙ୍ନେ କି, ଅନ୍ନିଙ୍ ଆ ଜନୋମ୍ଜୋମ୍ ଅଃଜ୍ଜୋମ୍ଲବୋ ଡେନ୍ ଇନ୍ଲେନ୍ ଇନ୍ନିଙ୍ ଅଃନ୍ନଡ଼ୟ୍ଲଙ୍ନେ ।
But meat will not commend us to God: neither, if we eat not, are we the worse; nor, if we eat, are we the better.
9 ବନ୍ଡ ଗିୟ୍ଡମ୍ନାବା, ଅସମୟ୍ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଆସନ୍ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଏର୍ବପ୍ପୁ ଡର୍ନେମରଞ୍ଜି ଆତୁଡ୍ଡୁବ୍ଗୋ ଡେଡଙ୍ଜି ତଡ୍ ।
But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to the weak.
10 ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଅବୟ୍ ଏର୍ବପ୍ପୁ ଡର୍ନେମରନ୍, ଆମ୍ୱେନ୍ ଅନ୍ତମ୍ ଅବୟ୍ “ଆଜନାମରନ୍” ସରେବାସିଂଲୋଙନ୍ କୋଙ୍ଡାୟ୍ସୁମନ୍ ଆ ମୁକ୍କାବା ଆରମଙ୍ତେଞ୍ଜି ଆ ଜନୋମ୍ଜୋମ୍ଜି ଏଜ୍ରୋମ୍ତେନ୍ ଆଡିଡ୍ ଗିୟ୍ଲବେନ୍ ଡେନ୍; ଏତ୍ତେଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ ନିୟ୍ କୋଙ୍ଡାୟ୍ସୁମନ୍ ଆରମଙ୍ତେଞ୍ଜି ଆ ଜନୋମ୍ଜୋମ୍ ଜୋମ୍ଜୋମନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଅଃନ୍ନୋମଙେ ପଙ୍?
For if a man see thee which hast knowledge sitting at meat in an idol’s temple, will not his conscience, if he is weak, be emboldened to eat things sacrificed to idols?
11 ଏର୍ବପ୍ପୁ ଡର୍ନେମର୍ ବୋଞାଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଆସନ୍ କ୍ରିସ୍ଟନ୍ ରବୁଏନ୍, ବନ୍ଡ ଆମ୍ୱେନ୍ ଗିଆନବେନ୍ ବାତ୍ତେ ତି ଏର୍ବପ୍ପୁ ଡର୍ନେମର୍ ବୋଞାଙ୍ବେନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଏବ୍ମୋସ୍ସାତେ ।
For through thy knowledge he that is weak perisheth, the brother for whose sake Christ died.
12 କେନ୍ ଏନ୍ନେଲେ ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ସର୍ସି ଡର୍ନେମର୍ ବୋଞାଙ୍ବେଞ୍ଜି ଆ ବିରୁଦଲୋଙ୍ ଇର୍ସେନ୍ ଲୁମ୍ଲେ, କ୍ରିସ୍ଟନ୍ ଆ ବିରୁଦଲୋଙ୍ ଇର୍ସେନ୍ ଏଲୁମ୍ତେ, ଆରି ଏର୍ବପ୍ପୁ ବୋଞାଙ୍ବେନ୍ ଆ ବିବେକ ଏବ୍ପାରାତେ ।
And thus, sinning against the brethren, and wounding their conscience when it is weak, ye sin against Christ.
13 ତିଆସନ୍, ଞେନ୍ ଜେଲୁନ୍ ଜରୋମ୍ତାଞନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ବୋଞାଙ୍ଞେନ୍ ଇର୍ସେଲୋଙନ୍ ଗଲୋଏନ୍ ଡେନ୍, ଏତ୍ତେଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ବୋଞାଙ୍ଞେନ୍ ଏଙ୍ଗାଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ଇର୍ସେଲୋଙନ୍ ଗଲୋଡଙେ ତଡ୍, ତିଆସନ୍ ଞେନ୍ ଜେଲୁନ୍ ନିୟ୍ ଅଃଜ୍ଜୋମାୟ୍ । (aiōn g165)
Wherefore, if meat maketh my brother to stumble, I will eat no flesh for evermore, that I make not my brother to stumble. (aiōn g165)
