ルカの福音書 11
1 さて、イエスはある所で祈っておられた。その祈りが終わると、弟子のひとりが、イエスに言った。「主よ。ヨハネが弟子たちに教えたように、私たちにも祈りを教えてください。」
Then it happened, when He finished praying in a certain place, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John also taught his disciples.”
2 そこでイエスは、彼らに言われた。「祈るときには、こう言いなさい。 『父よ。御名があがめられますように。 御国が来ますように。
So He said to them: “Whenever you pray, say: Our Father who is in the heavens, your name must be reverenced. Your Kingdom must come. Your will must be done on earth as it is in heaven.
3 私たちの日ごとの糧を毎日お与えください。
Give us day by day our daily bread.
4 私たちの罪をお赦しください。私たちも私たちに負いめのある者をみな赦します。 私たちを試みに会わせないでください。』」
Also, forgive us our sins, because we also forgive everyone indebted to us. And, do not lead us into testing, but deliver us from the malignant one.”
5 また、イエスはこう言われた。「あなたがたのうち、だれかに友だちがいるとして、真夜中にその人のところに行き、『君。パンを三つ貸してくれ。
Then He said to them: “Who among you will have a friend and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves,
6 友人が旅の途中、私のうちへ来たのだが、出してやるものがないのだ。』と言ったとします。
because a friend has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him’;
7 すると、彼は家の中からこう答えます。『めんどうをかけないでくれ。もう戸締まりもしてしまったし、子どもたちも私も寝ている。起きて、何かをやることはできない。』
and he will answer from within and say, ‘Don't bother me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot get up and give to you?’
8 あなたがたに言いますが、彼は友だちだからということで起きて何かを与えることはしないにしても、あくまで頼み続けるなら、そのためには起き上がって、必要な物を与えるでしょう。
I say to you, even if he will not get up and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will get up and give him as many as he needs.
9 わたしは、あなたがたに言います。求めなさい。そうすれば与えられます。捜しなさい。そうすれば見つかります。たたきなさい。そうすれば開かれます。
“So I say to you: ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
10 だれであっても、求める者は受け、捜す者は見つけ出し、たたく者には開かれます。
Because everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
11 あなたがたの中で、子どもが魚を下さいと言うときに、魚の代わりに蛇を与えるような父親が、いったいいるでしょうか。
And which father among you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if a fish, will he give him a snake instead of a fish?
12 卵を下さいと言うのに、だれが、さそりを与えるでしょう。
Or if he asks for an egg, will he give him a scorpion?
13 してみると、あなたがたも、悪い者ではあっても、自分の子どもには良い物を与えることを知っているのです。とすれば、なおのこと、天の父が、求める人たちに、どうして聖霊を下さらないことがありましょう。」
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
14 イエスは悪霊、それもおしの悪霊を追い出しておられた。悪霊が出て行くと、おしがものを言い始めたので、群衆は驚いた。
Then He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. As a result, when the demon had gone out the mute spoke! And the crowds marveled.
15 しかし、彼らのうちには、「悪霊どものかしらベルゼブルによって、悪霊どもを追い出しているのだ。」と言う者もいた。
But some of them said, “It's by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons, that he casts out demons.”
16 また、イエスをためそうとして、彼に天からのしるしを求める者もいた。
While others kept asking Him for a sign from heaven, testing.
17 しかし、イエスは、彼らの心を見抜いて言われた。「どんな国でも、内輪もめしたら荒れすたれ、家にしても、内輪で争えばつぶれます。
But He, knowing their thoughts, said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and a house divided against itself falls.
18 サタンも、もし仲間割れしたのだったら、どうしてサタンの国が立ち行くことができましょう。それなのにあなたがたは、わたしがベルゼブルによって悪霊どもを追い出していると言います。
So if Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand?—since you say I cast out demons by Beelzebul!
19 もしもわたしが、ベルゼブルによって悪霊どもを追い出しているのなら、あなたがたの仲間は、だれによって追い出すのですか。だから、あなたがたの仲間が、あなたがたをさばく人となるのです。
Further, if I am casting out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.
20 しかし、わたしが、神の指によって悪霊どもを追い出しているのなら、神の国はあなたがたに来ているのです。
But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, surely the Kingdom of God has come upon you.
21 強い人が十分に武装して自分の家を守っているときには、その持ち物は安全です。
“When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own dwelling, his possessions are safe.
22 しかし、もっと強い者が襲って来て彼に打ち勝つと、彼の頼みにしていた武具を奪い、分捕り品を分けます。
But when someone stronger than he attacks, he overcomes him, takes away all his armor in which he trusted, and distributes his spoils.
23 わたしの味方でない者はわたしに逆らう者であり、わたしとともに集めない者は散らす者です。
“He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.
24 汚れた霊が人から出て行って、水のない所をさまよいながら、休み場を捜します。一つも見つからないので、『出て来た自分の家に帰ろう。』と言います。
“Whenever an unclean spirit goes out from a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest; and not finding any it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came out.’
25 帰って見ると、家は、掃除をしてきちんとかたづいていました。
And coming it finds it swept and put in order.
26 そこで、出かけて行って、自分よりも悪いほかの霊を七つ連れて来て、みなはいり込んでそこに住みつくのです。そうなると、その人の後の状態は、初めよりもさらに悪くなります。」
Then it goes and picks up seven other spirits, more malignant than itself, and they go in and live there; so the last state of that man becomes worse than the first.”
27 イエスが、これらのことを話しておられると、群衆の中から、ひとりの女が声を張り上げてイエスに言った。「あなたを産んだ腹、あなたが吸った乳房は幸いです。」
And then, as He was saying these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts that you sucked!”
28 しかし、イエスは言われた。「いや、幸いなのは、神のことばを聞いてそれを守る人たちです。」
But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”
29 さて、群衆の数がふえて来ると、イエスは話し始められた。「この時代は悪い時代です。しるしを求めているが、ヨナのしるしのほかには、しるしは与えられません。
Now as the crowds were increasing, He began to say: “This is a malignant generation. It keeps wanting a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
30 というのは、ヨナがニネベの人々のために、しるしとなったように、人の子がこの時代のために、しるしとなるからです。
Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so also will the Son of the Man be to this generation.
31 南の女王が、さばきのときに、この時代の人々とともに立って、彼らを罪に定めます。なぜなら、彼女はソロモンの知恵を聞くために地の果てから来たからです。しかし、見なさい。ここにソロモンよりもまさった者がいるのです。
The queen of the South will be raised up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and she will condemn them, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and indeed a greater than Solomon is here.
32 ニネベの人々が、さばきのときに、この時代の人々とともに立って、この人々を罪に定めます。なぜなら、ニネベの人々はヨナの説教で悔い改めたからです。しかし、見なさい。ここにヨナよりもまさった者がいるのです。
The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation, and they will condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and indeed a greater than Jonah is here.
33 だれも、あかりをつけてから、それを穴倉や、枡の下に置く者はいません。燭台の上に置きます。はいって来る人々に、その光が見えるためです。
“No one, having lit a lamp, puts it in hiding or under a basket, but on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light.
34 からだのあかりは、あなたの目です。目が健全なら、あなたの全身も明るいが、しかし、目が悪いと、からだも暗くなります。
The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, whenever your ‘eye’ is good, your whole body is illuminated. But when it is malignant, your body also is darkened.
35 だから、あなたのうちの光が、暗やみにならないように、気をつけなさい。
So see to it that the ‘light’ in you not be darkness.
36 もし、あなたの全身が明るくて何の暗い部分もないなら、その全身はちょうどあかりが輝いて、あなたを照らすときのように明るく輝きます。」
If then your whole body is full of light, not having any part dark, the whole will be illuminated, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light.”
37 イエスが話し終えられると、ひとりのパリサイ人が、食事をいっしょにしてください、とお願いした。そこでイエスは家にはいって、食卓に着かれた。
Now as He spoke, a certain Pharisee invited Him to eat with him. So He went in and reclined.
38 そのパリサイ人は、イエスが食事の前に、まずきよめの洗いをなさらないのを見て、驚いた。
But the Pharisee, noticing that He did not first wash before the meal, was critical.
39 すると、主は言われた。「なるほど、あなたがたパリサイ人は、杯や大皿の外側はきよめるが、その内側は、強奪と邪悪とでいっぱいです。
So the Lord said to him: “Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but your inside is full of greed and malignancy.
40 愚かな人たち。外側を造られた方は、内側も造られたのではありませんか。
Fools! Did not He who made the outside also make the inside?
41 とにかく、うちのものを施しに用いなさい。そうすれば、いっさいが、あなたがたにとってきよいものとなります。
Nevertheless, give what is possible as alms; then indeed all things are clean to you.
42 だが、忌まわしいものだ。パリサイ人。あなたがたは、はっか、うん香、あらゆる野菜などの十分の一を納めているが、公義と神への愛とはなおざりにしています。これこそ、実行しなければならない事がらです。ただし他のほうも、なおざりにしてはいけません。
“But woe to you Pharisees! You tithe mint and rue and every herb, but you ignore justice and the love of God. These it was necessary to do, without leaving those undone.
43 忌まわしいものだ。パリサイ人。あなたがたは、会堂の上席や、市場であいさつされることが好きです。
Woe to you Pharisees! You love the best seat in the synagogues, and greetings in the marketplaces.
44 忌まわしいことだ。あなたがたは、人目につかぬ墓のようで、その上を歩く人々も気がつかない。」
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You are like unperceived graves, that people walk on without knowing it.”
45 すると、ある律法の専門家が、答えて言った。「先生。そのようなことを言われることは、私たちをも侮辱することです。」
Then one of the lawyers reacted and said to him, “Teacher, by saying these things you insult us also!”
46 しかし、イエスは言われた。「あなたがた律法の専門家たちも忌まわしいものだ。あなたがたは、人々には負いきれない荷物を負わせるが、自分は、その荷物に指一本もさわろうとはしない。
So He said: “Woe to you lawyers also! You load men down with burdens hard to carry, but you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.
47 忌まわしいことだ。あなたがたは、預言者たちの墓を建てている。しかし、あなたがたの先祖は預言者たちを殺したのです。
Woe to you! You restore the tombs of the prophets, it being your fathers who killed them.
48 そのようにして、あなたがたは、自分の先祖のしたことの証人となり、それを認めています。なぜなら、あなたがたの先祖が預言者たちを殺し、あなたがたがその墓を建てているからです。
Thereby you witness to and approve of the deeds of your fathers; because they indeed killed them, while you restore their tombs.
49 だから、神の知恵もこう言いました。『わたしは預言者たちや使徒たちを彼らに遣わすが、彼らは、そのうちのある者を殺し、ある者を迫害する。
Also, because of this ‘the wisdom of God’ said: ‘I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and persecute,’
50 それは、アベルの血から、祭壇と神の家との間で殺されたザカリヤの血に至るまでの、世の初めから流されたすべての預言者の血の責任を、この時代が問われるためである。そうだ。わたしは言う。この時代はその責任を問われる。』
so that the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world may be required of this generation,
51 忌まわしいものだ。律法の専門家たち。あなたがたは、知識のかぎを持ち去り、自分もはいらず、はいろうとする人々をも妨げたのです。」
from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I say to you, it shall be required of this generation!
Woe to you lawyers! You have taken away the key of knowledge; you yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering!”
53 イエスがそこを出て行かれると、律法学者、パリサイ人たちのイエスに対する激しい敵対と、いろいろのことについてのしつこい質問攻めとが始まった。
Well when He had said these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge Him on vehemently and to cross-examine Him about many things,
54 彼らは、イエスの口から出ることに、言いがかりをつけようと、ひそかに計った。
lying in wait for Him, trying to catch Him in something He might say, so that they might accuse Him.
