ヨハネの黙示録 2
1 エフェゾ教會の天使に斯く書遣れ、右の御手に七の星を持ち、七の金の燈台の中央に歩み給ふもの曰く、
"To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: "He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among the seven golden lampstands says these things:
2 我は汝の業と働と忍耐とを知り、又汝が惡人を忍び得ざる事と、自ら使徒と稱しつつ然らざる人々を試みて其僞れる者たるを認めし事と、
"I know your works, and your toil and perseverance, and that you cannot tolerate those who are evil, and have tested those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and found them false.
3 汝の忍耐ある事と、我名の為に患難を忍びて倦まざりし事とを知れり。
You have perseverance and have endured for my name's sake, and have not grown weary.
4 然れども汝に咎むる所あり、即ち汝は最初の愛を離せり、
But I have this against you, that you left your first love.
5 然れば其何處より堕落せしかを思ひ、改心して最初の業を為せ。若然らずして改心せずば、我汝の許に至り、汝の燈台を其處より取除かん。
Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you, and will move your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent.
6 然りながら汝に長所あり、即ちニコライ党の業を憎める事にして、我も亦之を憎めるなり。
But this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 耳ある者は[聖]霊の諸教會に曰ふ所を聞け、即ち勝利を得たる人には我わが神の樂園に在る生命の樹の果を食せしめん。
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Rukha says to the congregations. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.
8 又スミルナ教會の天使に斯く書遣れ、最初のものにして最終のものたり、且死したりしに活き給へるもの曰く、
"To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: "The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life says these things:
9 我は汝の患難と貧窮とを知れり、然れど汝は富めり。又自らユデア人と稱しつつ、然らずして、却てサタン教會たる人々に罵らるるなり。
"I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satana.
10 受けんとする苦を一も懼るる事勿れ、看よ惡魔は汝等を試みんとて、汝等の幾人を監獄に入るべく、汝等は十日の間患難に遇はんとす。汝等死に至るまで忠信なれ、然らば我生命の冠を汝に與へん。
Do not be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Look, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
11 耳ある者は[聖]霊の諸教會に曰ふ所を聞け、即ち勝利を得たる人は第二の死に害せられじ。
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Rukha says to the congregations. He who overcomes won't be harmed by the second death.
12 又ベルガモ教會の天使にかく書遣れ、兩刃の利き剣を持ち給へるもの曰く、
"To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: "He who has the sharp two-edged sword says these things:
13 我は汝の何處に住むかを知れり、即ちサタンの座の有る處なり。然るに汝我名を保ちて、我忠信なる證人アンチパスが汝等の中なるサタンの住む處にて殺されし時すら、汝は我に於る信仰を否まざりき。
"I know where you dwell, where Satana's throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and did not deny my faith even in the days of Antipas, my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satana dwells.
14 然れども少しく汝に咎むべき事あり、即ち汝の處にはバラアムの教を保てる人々あり、彼は禁物を食せしめ又私通せしめん為に、躓く物をイスラエルの子等の前に置くべしと、バラクに教へ居りしが、
But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Belam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the people of Israyel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
15 斯の如く汝の地にニコライ党の教を保てる人々あり。
So you also have some who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans likewise.
16 汝も亦改心せよ、然らずんば我速に汝の許に至り、我口の剣を以て彼等と戰はん。
Repent therefore, or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 耳ある者は[聖]霊の諸教會に曰ふ所を聞け、即ち勝利を得たる人に我隠れたるマンナを與へ、又白き石に新しき名を記して與へん、其名は白き石を受くる者の外之を知る者なし。
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Rukha says to the congregations. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it.
18 又チアチラ教會の天使に斯く書遣れ、神の御子、即ち御目は焔の如く、御足は青銅の如くに在すもの曰く、
"To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: "The Son of God, who has his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like burnished bronze, says these things:
19 我は汝の業と信仰と、愛と務と忍耐と、又後の業の前の業より多き事とを知れり。
"I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first.
20 然れども聊汝に咎むべき所あり、即ち汝は預言者と自稱する婦人イエザベルの、我僕等を教へ且惑はして、私通せしめ偶像に献げられし物を食せしむるを措けり。
But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.
21 我彼婦人に改心すべき暇を與へたれど、敢えて其私通より改心せず、
I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.
22 看よ、我彼を床に臥さしむべく、又彼と共に姦淫を為す人々にして、己が業より改心せずば、大いなる患難に遇ふべく、
Look, I will throw her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great oppression, unless they repent of her works.
23 我又彼が子等を撃殺すべく、斯て諸教會は我が人の心腸を探るる者たるを知るに至るべく、我又汝等に各其業に應じて報ゆる所あらん。而して汝等、
I will kill her children with Death, and all the congregations will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
24 即ちチアチラに在る他の人々に謂はん、総て彼教を有たざるもの、所謂サタンの奥義を知らざるもの我汝等に他の荷を負はせじ。
But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as do not have this teaching, who do not know what some call 'the deep things of Satana,' to you I say, I am not putting any other burden on you.
25 但汝等が有てる所を我が來るまで保て、
Nevertheless, hold that which you have firmly until I come.
26 而して勝利を得て、終まで我業を守りたる人には、與ふるに諸國民に對する権威を以てすべし、
He who overcomes, and he who keeps my works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.
27 彼は鉄の杖を以て之を治め、彼等は土器の如くに砕かれん、
He will rule them with an iron scepter, shattering them like clay pots; as I also have received of my Father:
28 猶我にも我父より賜はりたるが如し。而して我亦彼人に暁の明星を與ふべし。
and I will give him the morning star.
29 耳ある者は[聖]霊の諸教會に曰ふ所を聞け。
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Rukha says to the congregations.
