マルコの福音書 10
1 第七項 イエズスペレア地方に留り遂にエルサレムに赴き給ふ イエズス此處を立出でて、ヨルダン[河]の彼方なるユデアの境に至り給ひしに、群衆復其許に集りければ、例の如く復彼等を教へ居給へり。
And he arose from there, and comes into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort to him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.
2 時にファリザイ人等近づきて之を試み、人其妻を出すは可か、と問ひしに、
And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.
3 イエズス答へて、モイゼは汝等に何を命ぜしぞ、と曰ひしかば、
And he answered and said to them, What did Moses command you?
4 彼等云ふ、モイゼは離縁状を書きて妻を出す事を許せり。
And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorce, and to put her away.
5 イエズス彼等に答へて曰ひけるは、彼は汝等の心の頑固なるによりてこそ、彼掟を汝等に書與へつれ。
And Jesus answered and said to them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
6 然れど開闢の初に、神は人を男女に造り給へり、
But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
7 此故に人は父母を離れて其妻に合し、
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and join to his wife;
8 兩人一體となるべし。然れば既に二人に非ずして一體なり。
And they two shall be one flesh: so then they are no more two, but one flesh.
9 故に神の合せ給ひし所、人之を分つべからず、と。
What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.
10 弟子等家に於て、復同じ事に就きて問ひしかば、
And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.
11 彼等に曰ひけるは、誰にても妻を出して他に娶るは、是彼女に對して姦淫を行ふなり。
And he says to them, Whoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, commits adultery against her.
12 又妻其夫を棄てて他に嫁ぐは、是姦淫を行ふなり、と。
And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she commits adultery.
13 時にイエズスの是に触れ給はん為に、人々幼兒等を差出したるに、弟子等其差出す人を叱りければ、
And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14 イエズス之を見て憤り給ひ、彼等に曰ひけるは、幼兒等の我に來るを容せ、之を禁ずること勿れ、神の國は斯の如き人の為なればなり。
But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said to them, Suffer the little children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
15 我誠に汝等に告ぐ、総て幼兒の如くに神の國を承けざる人は、竟にに是に入らじ、と。
Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
16 斯て幼兒等を抱き、按手して之を祝し居給へり。
And he took them up in his arms, put his hands on them, and blessed them.
And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
18 イエズス是に曰ひけるは、何ぞ我を善きと云ふや、神獨の外に善きものなし、
And Jesus said to him, Why call you me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
19 汝は掟を知れり、姦淫する勿れ、殺す勿れ、盗む勿れ、僞證する勿れ、害する勿れ、汝の父母を敬へ、と是なり、と。
You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honor your father and mother.
20 彼答へて、師よ、我幼年より悉く之を守れり、と云ひしかば、
And he answered and said to him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
21 イエズス是に目を注ぎ、寵みて曰ひけるは、汝尚一を缼けり、往きて有てる物を悉く売り之を貧者に施せ、然らば天に於て寳を得ん、而して來りて我に從へ、と。
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said to him, One thing you lack: go your way, sell whatever you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
22 彼此言に悲み憂ひつつ去れり。其は多くの財産を有てる者なればなり。
And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
23 イエズス見廻しつつ弟子等に、難い哉金を有てる人の神の國に入る事、と曰ひければ、
And Jesus looked round about, and says to his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
24 弟子等此言に驚きしかば、イエズス又答へて曰ひけるは、小子よ、難い哉金を恃める人の神の國に入る事。
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answers again, and says to them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
25 富者が神の國に入るよりも、駱駝が針の孔を通るは易し、と。
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26 彼等愈怪しみて語合ひけるは、然らば誰か救はるることを得ん、と。
And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
27 イエズス彼等に目を注ぎつつ曰ひけるは、其は人に於て能はざる所なれども、神に於ては然らず、神に於ては何事も能はざる所なし、と。
And Jesus looking on them says, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
28 ペトロイエズスに向ひて、然て我等は一切を棄てて汝に從ひたり、と云出でたるに、
Then Peter began to say to him, See, we have left all, and have followed you.
29 イエズス答へて曰ひけるは、我誠に汝等に告ぐ、総て我為また福音の為に、或は家、或は兄弟、或は姉妹、或は父、或は母、或は子等、或は田畑を離るる人は、
And Jesus answered and said, Truly I say to you, There is no man that has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,
31 但多く先なる人は後になり、後なる人は先になるべし、と。
But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
32 エルザレムに上る途中、イエズス弟子等に先ち給ふを、彼等驚き且怖れつつ從ひ居りしに、イエズス再十二人を近づけて、己に起るべき事を語出で給ひけるは、
And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen to him,
33 看よ、我等エルザレムに上る。斯て人の子は司祭長、律法學士、長老等に売られ、彼等は之を死罪に處し、異邦人に付し、
Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered to the chief priests, and to the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:
34 且之を弄り、之に唾し、之を鞭ちて殺さん、而して三日目に復活すべし、と。
And they shall mock him, and shall whip him, and shall spit on him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
35 時に、ゼベデオの子ヤコボとヨハネとイエズスに近づきて云ひけるは、師よ、望むらくは、我等の願ふ所を、何事にもあれ我等に為し給はん事を、と。
And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come to him, saying, Master, we would that you should do for us whatever we shall desire.
36 イエズス、我が汝等に何を為さん事を願ふぞ、と曰ひければ、
And he said to them, What would you that I should do for you?
37 彼等汝の光榮の中に一人は其右、一人は其左に坐することを我等に得させ給へ、と云ひしに、
They said to him, Grant to us that we may sit, one on your right hand, and the other on your left hand, in your glory.
38 イエズス曰ひけるは、汝等は願ふ所を知らず、汝等我が飲む杯を飲み、我が洗せらるる洗禮にて洗せられ得るか、と。
But Jesus said to them, You know not what you ask: can you drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
39 彼等、我等は得、と云ひしに、イエズス曰ひけるは、汝等實に我が飲む杯を飲まん、又我が洗せらるる洗禮にて洗せられん、
And they said to him, We can. And Jesus said to them, You shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized with shall you be baptized:
40 然れど我が右或は左に坐するは、我が汝等に得さすべき事に非ず、待設けられたる人々に得さすべきなり、と。
But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not my to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.
41 十人の者之を聞きて、大いにヤコボとヨハネとを憤り始めければ、
And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.
42 イエズス彼等を呼びて曰ひけるは、異邦人を司ると見ゆる人が之に主となり、又其君たる人が権を其上に振ふは、汝等の知れる所なり。
But Jesus called them to him, and says to them, You know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority on them.
43 然れど汝等の中に於ては然らず、却て誰にもあれ、大いならんと欲する者は汝等の召使となり、
But so shall it not be among you: but whoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
44 誰にもあれ、汝等の中に第一の者たらんと欲する者は一同の僕となるべし。
And whoever of you will be the most chief, shall be servant of all.
45 即人の子の來れるも、仕へらるる為に非ず、却て仕へん為、且衆人の贖として生命を與へん為なり、と。
For even the Son of man came not to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
46 斯て皆エリコに至りしが、イエズス弟子等と夥しき群衆を伴ひてエリコを出で給ふ時、チメオの子なる瞽者バルチメオ、路傍に坐して施を乞ひ居りしに、
And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
47 是ナザレトのイエズスなりと聞くや、叫び出でてダヴィドの子イエズスよ、我を憫み給へ、と云ひければ、
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me.
48 多くの人彼を叱りて黙せしめんとすれども、彼益激しく、ダヴィドの子よ、我を憫み給へ、と呼はり居たり。
And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, You son of David, have mercy on me.
49 イエズス立止りて、彼を呼ぶ事を命じ給ひしかば、人々瞽者を呼びて、心安かれ、起て、汝を召し給ふぞ、と云ふや、
And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying to him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calls you.
50 瞽者上着を抛棄て、躍揚りて御許に至りしが、
And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
51 イエズス答へて、我に何を為られん事を欲するぞ、と曰ひしに瞽者は、ラッボニ、我目の見えん事を、と云へり。
And Jesus answered and said to him, What will you that I should do to you? The blind man said to him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
52 イエズス之に向ひて、往け、汝の信仰汝を救へり、と曰ひしかば、彼忽見る事を得て途中までイエズスに從ひ行けり。
And Jesus said to him, Go your way; your faith has made you whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
