創世記 45
1 茲にヨセフその側にたてる人々のまへに自ら禁ぶあたはざるに至りければ人皆われを離ていでよと呼はれり是をもてヨセフが己を兄弟にあかしたる時一人も之とともにたつものなかりき
Then Joseph could no longer control himself before all those who stood before him, so he cried out, "Send everyone away from me." So no one stood with him while Joseph made himself known to his brothers.
2 ヨセフ聲をあげて泣りエジプト人これを聞きパロの家またこれを聞く
And he wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard it, and the house of Pharaoh heard about it.
3 ヨセフすなはちその兄弟にいひけるは我はヨセフなりわが父はなほ生ながらへをるやと兄弟等その前に愕き懼れて之にこたふるをえざりき
Then Joseph said to his brothers, "I am Joseph. Is my father still alive?" But his brothers couldn't answer him, for they were terrified at his presence.
4 ヨセフ兄弟にいひけるは請ふ我にちかよれとかれらすなはち近よりければ言ふ我はなんぢらの弟ヨセフなんぢらがエジプトにうりたる者なり
Then Joseph said to his brothers, "Come near to me, please." So they moved closer. And he said, "I am Joseph, your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.
5 されど汝等我をここに賣しをもて憂ふるなかれ身を恨るなかれ神生命をすくはしめんとて我を汝等の前につかはしたまへるなり
Now do not be upset or angry with yourselves that you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.
6 この二年のあひだ饑饉國の中にありしが尚五年の間耕すことも穫こともなかるべし
For the famine has been in the land these two years, and there will be five more years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest.
7 神汝等の後を地につたへんため又大なる救をもて汝らの生命を救はんために我を汝等の前に遣したまへり
God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
8 然ば我を此につかはしたる者は汝等にはあらず神なり神われをもてパロの父となしその全家の主となしエジプト全國の宰となしたまへり
So now, it wasn't you who sent me here, but God, and he has made me a father to Pharaoh, lord of all his house, and ruler over all the land of Egypt.
9 汝等いそぎ父の許にのぼりゆきて之にいへ汝の子ヨセフかく言ふ神われをエジプト全國の主となしたまへりわが所にくだれ遲疑なかれ
Now hurry and go up to my father and tell him, 'This is what your son Joseph says, "God has made me lord of all Egypt. Come down to me. Do not delay.
10 汝ゴセンの地に住べし斯汝と汝の子と汝の子の子およびなんぢの羊と牛並に汝のすべて有ところの者われの近方にあるべし
You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you will be near to me, you, your children, and your children's children, and your flocks, and your herds, and everything that you have.
11 なほ五年の饑饉あるにより我其處にてなんぢを養はん恐くは汝となんぢの家族およびなんぢの凡て有ところの者匱乏ならん
There I will provide for you, for there are still five years of famine to come, otherwise you and your household and all that you have would become destitute.
12 汝等の目とわが弟ベニヤミンの目の視るごとく汝等にこれをいふ者はわが口なり
Look, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth which is speaking to you.
13 汝等わがエジプトにて亨る顯榮となんぢらが見たる所とを皆悉く父につげよ汝ら急ぎて父を此にみちびき下るべし
So you must tell my father about all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen. But you must hurry and bring my father down here."
14 而してヨセフその弟ベニヤミンの頸を抱へて哭にベニヤミンもヨセフの頸をかかへて哭く
Then he threw his arms around his brother Benjamin's neck and wept, and Benjamin wept on his shoulder.
15 ヨセフ亦その諸の兄弟に接吻し之をいだきて哭く是のち兄弟等ヨセフと言ふ
And he kissed all his brothers and wept on them, and after that his brothers talked with him.
16 茲にヨセフの兄弟等きたれりといふ聲パロの家にきこえければパロとその臣僕これを悦ぶ
Now the report of it was heard in Pharaoh's house, saying, "Joseph's brothers have come." It pleased Pharaoh and his servants.
17 パロすなはちヨセフにいひけるは汝の兄弟に言べし汝等かく爲せ汝等の畜に物を負せ往てカナンの地に至り
And Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Tell your brothers, 'Do this: Load your animals and go. Enter the land of Canaan.
18 なんぢらの父となんぢらの家族を携へて我にきたれ我なんぢらにエジプトの地の嘉物をあたへん汝等國の膏腴を食ふことをうべしと
Take your father and your families and come to me, and I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the richness of the land.'
19 今汝命をうく汝等かく爲せ汝等エジプトの地より車を取ゆきてなんぢらの子女と妻等を載せ汝等の父を導きて來れ
Now you are commanded, 'Do this: Take wagons from the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father and come.
20 また汝等の器を惜み視るなかれエジプト全國の嘉物は汝らの所屬なればなり
Also, do not worry about your possessions, for the best of all of the land of Egypt is yours."
21 イスラエルの子等すなはち斯なせりヨセフ、パロの命にしたがひて彼等に車をあたへかつ途の餱糧をかれらにあたへたり
So the sons of Israel did that. And Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provisions for the journey.
22 又かれらに皆おのおの衣一襲を與へたりしがベニヤミンには銀三百と衣五襲をあたへたり
He gave to all of them, to each one, a change of clothing. But to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of clothing.
23 彼また斯のごとく父に餽れり即ち驢馬十疋にエジプトの嘉物をおはせ牝の驢馬十疋に父の途の用に供ふる穀物と糧と肉をおはせて餽れり
To his father he sent the following: ten donkeys loaded with the best things of Egypt, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain and food and provision for his father on the journey.
24 斯して兄弟をかへして去しめ之にいふ汝等途にて相あらそふなかれと
So he sent his brothers off, and as they departed he said to them, "Do not be fearful on the journey."
25 かれらエジプトより上りてカナンの地にゆきその父ヤコブにいたり
So they went up out of Egypt and came into the land of Canaan to their father Jacob.
26 之につげてヨセフは尚いきてをりエジプト全國の宰となりをるといふしかるにヤコブの心なほ寒冷なりき其はこれを信ぜざればなり
And they told him, saying, "Joseph is still alive, and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt." But he was unmoved, because he did not believe them.
27 彼等またヨセフの己にいひたる言をことごとく之につげたりその父ヤコブ、ヨセフがおのれを載んとておくりし車をみるにおよびて其氣おのれにかへれり
But when they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said to them, and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to transport him, the spirit of their father Jacob revived.
28 イスラエルすなはちいふ足りわが子ヨセフなほ生をるわれ死ざるまへに往て之を視ん
Then Israel said, "I'm convinced. My son Joseph is still alive. I will go and see him before I die."
