詩篇 82

1 アサフの歌 神は神の会議のなかに立たれる。神は神々のなかで、さばきを行われる。

[A Psalm by Asaph.] God presides in the assembly of God. He judges among the gods.

2 「あなたがたはいつまで不正なさばきをなし、悪しき者に好意を示すのか。 (セラ)

"How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?" (Selah)

3 弱い者と、みなしごとを公平に扱い、苦しむ者と乏しい者の権利を擁護せよ。

"Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.

4 弱い者と貧しい者を救い、彼らを悪しき者の手から助け出せ」。

Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked."

5 彼らは知ることなく、悟ることもなくて、暗き中をさまよう。地のもろもろの基はゆり動いた。

They do not know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

6 わたしは言う、「あなたがたは神だ、あなたがたは皆いと高き者の子だ。

I said, "You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.

7 しかし、あなたがたは人のように死に、もろもろの君のひとりのように倒れるであろう」。

Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers."

8 神よ、起きて、地をさばいてください。すべての国民はあなたのものだからです。

Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.
