詩篇 62

1 聖歌隊の指揮者によってエドトンのしらべにしたがってうたわせたダビデの歌 わが魂はもだしてただ神をまつ。わが救は神から来る。

For the Leader; for Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. Only for God doth my soul wait in stillness; from Him cometh my salvation.

2 神こそわが岩、わが救、わが高きやぐらである。わたしはいたく動かされることはない。

He only is my rock and my salvation, my high tower, I shall not be greatly moved.

3 あなたがたは、いつまで人に押し迫るのか。あなたがたは皆、傾いた石がきのように、揺り動くまがきのように人を倒そうとするのか。

How long will ye set upon a man, that ye may slay him, all of you, as a leaning wall, a tottering fence?

4 彼らは人を尊い地位から落そうとのみはかり、偽りを喜び、その口では祝福し、心のうちではのろうのである。 (セラ)

They only devise to thrust him down from his height, delighting in lies; they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)

5 わが魂はもだしてただ神をまつ。わが望みは神から来るからである。

Only for God wait thou in stillness, my soul; for from Him cometh my hope.

6 神こそわが岩、わが救、わが高きやぐらである。わたしは動かされることはない。

He only is my rock and my salvation, my high tower, I shall not be moved.

7 わが救とわが誉とは神にある。神はわが力の岩、わが避け所である。

Upon God resteth my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

8 民よ、いかなる時にも神に信頼せよ。そのみ前にあなたがたの心を注ぎ出せ。神はわれらの避け所である。 (セラ)

Trust in Him at all times, ye people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. (Selah)

9 低い人はむなしく、高い人は偽りである。彼らをはかりにおけば、彼らは共に息よりも軽い。

Men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie; if they be laid in the balances, they are together lighter than vanity.

10 あなたがたは、しえたげにたよってはならない。かすめ奪うことに、むなしい望みをおいてはならない。富の増し加わるとき、これに心をかけてはならない。

Trust not in oppression, and put not vain hope in robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart thereon.

11 神はひとたび言われた、わたしはふたたびこれを聞いた、力は神に属することを。

God hath spoken once, twice have I heard this: that strength belongeth unto God;

12 主よ、いつくしみもまたあなたに属することを。あなたは人おのおののわざにしたがって報いられるからである。

Also unto Thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy; for Thou renderest to every man according to his work.
