詩篇 5
1 聖歌隊の指揮者によって笛にあわせてうたわせたダビデの歌 主よ、わたしの言葉に耳を傾け、わたしの嘆きに、み心をとめてください。
For the Chief Musician; with the Nehiloth. A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my (meditation)
2 わが王、わが神よ、わたしの叫びの声をお聞きください。わたしはあなたに祈っています。
Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee do I pray.
3 主よ、朝ごとにあなたはわたしの声を聞かれます。わたしは朝ごとにあなたのためにいけにえを備えて待ち望みます。
O LORD, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; in the morning will I order [my prayer] unto thee, and will keep watch.
4 あなたは悪しき事を喜ばれる神ではない。悪人はあなたのもとに身を寄せることはできない。
For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: evil shall not sojourn with thee.
5 高ぶる者はあなたの目の前に立つことはできない。あなたはすべて悪を行う者を憎まれる。
The arrogant shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
6 あなたは偽りを言う者を滅ぼされる。主は血を流す者と、人をだます者を忌みきらわれる。
Thou shalt destroy them that speak lies: the LORD abhorreth the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
7 しかし、わたしはあなたの豊かないつくしみによって、あなたの家に入り、聖なる宮にむかって、かしこみ伏し拝みます。
But as for me, in the multitude of thy lovingkindness will I come into thy house: in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
8 主よ、わたしのあだのゆえに、あなたの義をもってわたしを導き、わたしの前にあなたの道をまっすぐにしてください。
Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way plain before my face.
9 彼らの口には真実がなく、彼らの心には滅びがあり、そののどは開いた墓、その舌はへつらいを言うのです。
For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness: their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
10 神よ、どうか彼らにその罪を負わせ、そのはかりごとによって、みずから倒れさせ、その多くのとがのゆえに彼らを追いだしてください。彼らはあなたにそむいたからです。
Hold them guilty, O God; let them fall by their own counsels: thrust them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.
11 しかし、すべてあなたに寄り頼む者を喜ばせ、とこしえに喜び呼ばわらせてください。また、み名を愛する者があなたによって喜びを得るように、彼らをお守りください。
But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice, let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
12 主よ、あなたは正しい者を祝福し、盾をもってするように、恵みをもってこれをおおい守られます。
For thou wilt bless the righteous; O LORD, thou wilt compass him with favour as with a shield.
