詩篇 46

1 聖歌隊の指揮者によって女の声のしらべにあわせてうたわせたコラの子の歌 神はわれらの避け所また力である。悩める時のいと近き助けである。

“To the chief musician: by the sons of Korach, upon 'Alamoth, a song.” God is our protection and strength, a help in distresses, very readily found.

2 このゆえに、たとい地は変り、山は海の真中に移るとも、われらは恐れない。

Therefore will we not fear, even when the earth is transformed, and when mountains are moved into the heart of the seas;

3 たといその水は鳴りとどろき、あわだつとも、そのさわぎによって山は震え動くとも、われらは恐れない。 (セラ)

[When] the waters thereof roar and foam, when mountains quake before his majesty. (Selah)

4 一つの川がある。その流れは神の都を喜ばせ、いと高き者の聖なるすまいを喜ばせる。

[There] is a river, its rivulets cause to rejoice the city of God, the sanctuary of the dwellings of the Most High.

5 神がその中におられるので、都はゆるがない。神は朝はやく、これを助けられる。

God is in her midst; she shall not be moved: God will ever help her, at the dawning of [her] morning.

6 もろもろの民は騒ぎたち、もろもろの国は揺れ動く、神がその声を出されると地は溶ける。

Nations rage, kingdoms are moved: he letteth his voice be heard, the earth melteth away.

7 万軍の主はわれらと共におられる、ヤコブの神はわれらの避け所である。 (セラ)

The Lord of hosts is with us; a defense unto us is the God of Jacob. (Selah)

8 来て、主のみわざを見よ、主は驚くべきことを地に行われた。

Come, look at the deeds of the Lord, who hath made desolations on the earth.

9 主は地のはてまでも戦いをやめさせ、弓を折り、やりを断ち、戦車を火で焼かれる。

He causeth wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in pieces; he burneth wagons in the fire.

10 「静まって、わたしこそ神であることを知れ。わたしはもろもろの国民のうちにあがめられ、全地にあがめられる」。

Leave off, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth.

11 万軍の主はわれらと共におられる、ヤコブの神はわれらの避け所である。 (セラ)
