詩篇 28

1 ダビデの歌 主よ、わたしはあなたにむかって呼ばわります。わが岩よ、わたしにむかって耳しいとならないでください。もしあなたが黙っておられるならば、おそらく、わたしは墓に下る者と等しくなるでしょう。

Yahweh, I call out to you; [you are like an overhanging] rock [under which I can hide]. Do not refuse to answer me, because if you are silent, I will soon be with those who are in their graves.

2 わたしがあなたにむかって助けを求め、あなたの至聖所にむかって手をあげるとき、わたしの願いの声を聞いてください。

Listen to me when I call out for you [to help me], when I pray, lifting up my hands as I face your sacred temple.

3 悪しき者および悪を行う者らと共にわたしを引き行かないでください。彼らはその隣り人とむつまじく語るけれども、その心には害悪をいだく者です。

Do not drag me away with wicked people, with those who do wicked deeds, with those who pretend [to act] peacefully toward others while in their inner beings, they hate them.

4 どうぞ、そのわざにしたがい、その悪しき行いにしたがって彼らに報い、その手のわざにしたがって彼らに報い、その受くべき罰を彼らに与えてください。

Punish those people in the way that they deserve for what they have done; punish them for their evil deeds [DOU].

5 彼らは主のもろもろのみわざと、み手のわざとを顧みないゆえに、主は彼らを倒して、再び建てられることはない。

Yahweh, they do not pay attention to the [wonderful] things that you have done and that you have created; so get rid of them permanently and do not let them appear again!

6 主はほむべきかな。主はわたしの願いの声を聞かれた。

Praise Yahweh because he has heard me when I called out for him to help me!

7 主はわが力、わが盾。わたしの心は主に寄り頼む。わたしは助けを得たので、わたしの心は大いに喜び、歌をもって主をほめたたえる。

Yahweh makes me strong and [protects] me [like a shield] [MET]; I trusted in him, and he helped me. I was glad, and from my inner being I praised him as I sang to him.

8 主はその民の力、その油そそがれた者の救のとりでである。

Yahweh causes us to be strong and protects us; and he saves me, the one he appointed [MTY] to be king.

9 どうぞ、あなたの民を救い、あなたの嗣業を恵み、彼らの牧者となって、とこしえに彼らをいだき導いてください。

Yahweh, save/rescue your people; bless those who belong to you. [Take care of them like] a shepherd [takes care of his sheep] [MET]; take care of them forever.
