詩篇 25
1 ダビデの歌 主よ、わが魂はあなたを仰ぎ望みます。
“A psalm of David.” To thee, O LORD! do I lift up my soul.
2 わが神よ、わたしはあなたに信頼します。どうか、わたしをはずかしめず、わたしの敵を勝ち誇らせないでください。
O my God! I trust in thee; let me not be put to shame! Let not my enemies triumph over me!
3 すべてあなたを待ち望む者をはずかしめず、みだりに信義にそむく者をはずかしめてください。
Yea, none that hope in thee shall be put to shame: They shall be put to shame who wickedly forsake thee.
4 主よ、あなたの大路をわたしに知らせ、あなたの道をわたしに教えてください。
Cause me to know thy ways, O LORD! Teach me thy paths!
5 あなたのまことをもって、わたしを導き、わたしを教えてください。あなたはわが救の神です。わたしはひねもすあなたを待ち望みます。
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me! For thou art the God from whom cometh my help; In thee do I trust at all times!
6 主よ、あなたのあわれみと、いつくしみとを思い出してください。これはいにしえから絶えることがなかったのです。
Remember thy loving-kindness, O LORD! and thy tender mercy, Which thou hast exercised of old!
7 わたしの若き時の罪と、とがとを思い出さないでください。主よ、あなたの恵みのゆえに、あなたのいつくしみにしたがって、わたしを思い出してください。
Remember not the faults and transgressions of my youth! According to thy mercy remember thou me, For thy goodness' sake, O LORD!
8 主は恵みふかく、かつ正しくいらせられる。それゆえ、主は道を罪びとに教え、
Good and righteous is the LORD; Therefore showeth he to sinners the way.
9 へりくだる者を公義に導き、へりくだる者にその道を教えられる。
The humble he guideth in his statutes, And the humble he teacheth his way.
10 主のすべての道はその契約とあかしとを守る者にはいつくしみであり、まことである。
All the doings of the LORD are mercy and truth To those who keep his covenant and his precepts.
11 主よ、み名のために、わたしの罪をおゆるしください。わたしの罪は大きいのです。
For thy name's sake, O LORD, Pardon my iniquity; for it is great!
12 主を恐れる人はだれか。主はその選ぶべき道をその人に教えられる。
Who is the man that feareth the LORD? Him doth he show the way which he should choose.
13 彼はみずからさいわいに住まい、そのすえは地を継ぐであろう。
He shall himself dwell in prosperity, And his offspring shall inherit the land.
14 主の親しみは主をおそれる者のためにあり、主はその契約を彼らに知らせられる。
The friendship of the LORD is with them that fear him, And he will teach them his covenant.
15 わたしの目は常に主に向かっている。主はわたしの足を網から取り出されるからである。
Mine eyes are ever directed to the LORD, For he will pluck my feet from the net.
16 わたしをかえりみ、わたしをあわれんでください。わたしはひとりわびしく苦しんでいるのです。
Look upon me, and pity me; For I am desolate and afflicted!
17 わたしの心の悩みをゆるめ、わたしを苦しみから引き出してください。
Lighten the sorrows of my heart, And deliver me from my troubles!
18 わたしの苦しみ悩みをかえりみ、わたしのすべての罪をおゆるしください。
Look upon my affliction and distress, And forgive all my sins!
19 わたしの敵がいかに多く、かつ激しい憎しみをもってわたしを憎んでいるかをごらんください。
Consider how many are my enemies, And with what violence they hate me!
20 わたしの魂を守り、わたしをお助けください。わたしをはずかしめないでください。わたしはあなたに寄り頼んでいます。
Guard thou my life, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I have trusted in thee!
21 どうか、誠実と潔白とが、わたしを守ってくれるように。わたしはあなたを待ち望んでいます。
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For on thee do I rest my hope!
22 神よ、イスラエルをあがない、すべての悩みから救いだしてください。
Redeem Israel, O God! from all his troubles!
